hey guys,
i was trying to convert ZUI to CM and i messed up somewhere and i am only able to access fastboot mode now, my phones bootloader was unlocked before but some xda member told me to relock bootloader and try unlocking again to flash files but it didnt get unlocked after relocking.
so the present situation is i have a locked bootloader in fastboot mode and no recovery.
i want to flash system images through fastboot mode to bring it back to life, but it wont let me do it as bootloader is locked.
i tried unlocking the bootloader and it gives me the below error.
"FAILED. remote: oem unlock is not allowed"
how to get rid of this error and unlock the bootloader?
any help would be appreciated guys.
thanks in advance!

Hey guys! Is there any way to unlock Redmi Pro's bootloader without waiting for permission from Xiaomi? Have anybody found a way to bypass it?
easy, first make sure you have spflash tool and a working fastboot rom (just in case of trouble)
Next make sure your computer has working fastboot and adb.
Enable USB debugging on the device.
Enable OEM unlock in the Developer options settings on the device.
Connect the device to the computer through USB.
From a terminal on a computer, type the following to boot the device into fastboot mode:
adb reboot bootloader
Once the device is in fastboot mode, verify your PC sees the device by typing fastboot devices
If you don't see your device serial number, and instead see "<waiting for device>", fastboot is not configured properly on your machine.
From the same terminal, type the following command to unlock the bootloader:
fastboot oem unlock
Device is wiped & unlocked & no OS
Now flash twrp, reboot into it and copy xiaomi.eu rom on card & install
Good luck

i unlocked that way, maybe you do something wrong
try another way without unlocking try flash twrp with spflash tool
Do you remember what miui version did you have when you unlocked this way? Maybe I can roll back to it and then try again. Were you using developer or stable rom?
i was on fake/vendor rom this i thinlk http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.ph...ndroid-6-0-smartphone-firmware-212302-161109/
Crissz, your bootloader was allready unlocked when you received your phone. You cannot do a simple oem unlock via fastboot with a xiaomi phone. It's a fact..
@KarKlim please try fastboot oem unlock-go comand too
This method does not work as many say
(bootloader) Start unlock flow
FAILED (remote:
Unlock failed - Err:0xffffffff
)
finished. total time: 0.006s

Not worked for redmi note 8 pro ......failed.....
Hi.
I´ve unlocked the bootloader on my P10 plus.
But now, the toggle to unlock OEM on the developer settings is greyed and I can´t perform any fastboot commands.
Any help?
Thanks
I believe the option becomes disabled when you've unlocked the bootloader, as you'd have to use the relock command instead of the toggle to relock it.
I assume you're familiar with accessing and using fastboot if you've unlocked your bootloader... so for the fastboot commands, does the device show up when plugged in and you run "fastboot devices"?

i have my huawei p10 plus doing the same thing of yours.....only erecovery mode and when i get to boot in fastboot mode is only fatboot mode & rescue and i had locked bootloader and frp lock.....but i was reading that huawei just block the page to unlock bootloader i just dont know why they did that /......
Maybe try re-unlocking and flashing stock rom, kernel, system, and boot. (Or you can try the method I used to update manually). Requires to be able to acces external sd card.
Hmu if you want to know how.
Hey community!
first of all: my android knowledge is very limited, but I try my best to formulate my problem!
So, my Huawei p8 lite freezes on the Huawei logo and doesn't let me enter safe mode or anything else than fastboot/recovery mode (if trying volume down and power it just starts on huawei logo and freezes again). I know, that there are some posts on the internet for that topic, however, they all require OEM unlocked. I am pretty sure, that I didn't unlock my OEM in the developer settings and my thesis, that its locked, is confirmed by the 'remote: Command not allowed!' message when I type nearly any fastboot oem command (e.g. fastboot oem getvar all) on my computer. So, my question: Is there any possibility to unlock OEM with my phone just being able to enter fastboot mode?
With OEM unlocked I then hope to be able to unlock my bootloader and recover my phone ... (but thats another topic )
possibly useful information:
- HiSuite is installed on my PC (win10)
- fastboot&adb is 'installed' on my PC
- I can see my phone in 'fastboot devices', but I can't see it in 'adb devices' (it also doesn't appear in device manager if that should be the case ...)
- my bootloader is locked (I can howsoever see that with fastboot oem get-bootinfo)
Looking forward to your answers and thanks a lot in advance!
is it okay for me to just unlock the bootloader again?
Do I need to reuse the motorola code again?
Bootloader shows "flashing_locked"
EDIT: Just tried commands fastboot oem unlock and my code
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
None of them did anything... Device just hanged...
To whoever has the issue of device not responding, what solved for me was using another computer and only 2.0
port. Using port 3.0, the COM Transfer rate would seem to be too high.
Now all that is left is getting flashing unlocked....
In my case using command fastbot flashing unlock unlocked immediately after pasting it twice
