So I had my OP2 rooted and with a custom rom but it started acting up. The screen went black but everything kept working. Upon rebooting to the recovery the screen kept flickering.. I tried flashing the stock rom via recovery but that didn't work.. I tried via fastboot too but that sadly failed..
Now I can only get into fastboot mode and when I boot normally I only see the Android logo..
How can I solve this?

I could boot into recovery but not anymore sadly. The bootloader seems to be unlocked, yes.
Have u tried flashing back twrp via fastboot since u cannot boot into recovery and system?
Once u get back twrp recovery working, u can flash back a custom rom.
If noting else work, u will have to use a recovery tool.

I cannot get any recovery to flash. And flashing stock rom via fastboot doesn't work either. I cannot use the recovery tool cause it isn't recognized.

Are you using adb or fastboot? Gotta use fastboot

...Download the clockwork recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=514416&d=1297369766 image, and save it to the ..\android-sdk-windows\tools directory
renamed it to recovery.img
then type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and hit enter...
you tried that?
Follow this thread to ODIN back to stock and have it repartitioned to avoid any corruptions.

Since you've unlocked your bootloader, you can get into download mode by turning off phone, holding volume rocker up, plug into usb of computer.
After that, follow this guide step by step for success.

I'm having the exact same problem. How did you solve this? (I'm on a stock, rooted, Nexus S)
As posted, us Odin, first you need to download Odin and the rom to use with it, I think the only one available is a 2.3.1 100% stock, I'll try to get the link for you, on the phone, power it off, and hold down the up/down volume then connect your USB to the phone, you phone should indicate downloading ., from then follow the info posted, I'll get you the link.

Yesterday I've been trying to root my device using the official Oneplus video on YouTube . Everything was fine until I tried to flash the recovery. I flashed TWRP recovery using adb fastboot flash recovery (file) but then when I entered recovery the recovery didn't change. So I flashed it again, went into recovery and I finally got TWRP recovery. Then I flashed SuperSU and rooted my device. But now when I try to enter recovery I just get a black screen (OP logo not even showing). I can still enter fastboot and the operating system. If I use a booting app I see the Oneplus logo but after that it's a black screen so I need to press the power button for a couple of seconds to power it on. What can I do to solve this? The recovery is important for me.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT 1: If I check if my bootloader is unlocked using android sdk I see that my bootloader is locked. I am sure that I unlocked the bootloader before rooting my device. My mind is completely ****ed atm do I need to do everything again?

download that toolkit. It worked for many.
Any update on how it worked out?

Just put phone into bootloader mode to flash back to stock or option for soft brick whatever you prefer. The easy way to do it, just download NexusRoot Toolkit and do it from there.

I had this problem a while back . I had to fastboot erase everything and fastboot flash stock and start from fresh. Have you tried wiping anything yet? System ....etc?
Also what app did you uninstall?

Just wanted to ask if I flash a rom with oem unlock enabled before hand then will I be able to unlock bootloader?
Have u tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/oneplus-solution-hard-bricked-device-t3183449
There's not much u can do since u don't have adb access and ur bootloader is locked.
All I can say is to try different recovery packages an hope it work [emoji106]

Yes...
But normally any rom u flash, u will still have to go in settings an enable it.
The only way u can flash rom is via the recovery tool. The recovery tool also installs twrp recovery. Since ur bootloader is locked it probably brick the recovery.
If u get a rom to boot successfully proceed in unlocking the bootloader.

Well lastly try booting into fastboot then run the command " fastboot continue " and see if u can boot into recovery.
If not well u will have to replace the system.img and boot.img in the recovery tool with another rom.

But buddy his bootloader is unlocked where as mine is locked :crying:
Did you wipe data partition? No one told you that before, so I'm curious. Do it from recovery (you didn't tell your recovery is dead, so...).
Had this issue, when I forgot to wipe data after switching roms.

If recovery does the same, this is a hardware issue.
I guess you are from India, so take your device to a service center. In case your warranty has expired, go for the 3T, replacing the mainboard does not worth the money.
I'm trying to root my phone but can't get into recovery. Everytime I try to boot into recovery it just stays on the oneplus logo. Then I have to put it in fastboot and connect to my laptop then type in commands fastboot continue... What do I do?

Reflash a stable recovery from fastboot. And make sure you're using the correct one.
