Hi Everyone,
Just get my now phone in fact it's the second G4 I got. The first one has been destroyed accidentally.
On the first one I was able to root it & to install xposed module.
I wanted to do it again on the second one, and I thought I know well the procedure & so I took some short cut....
Now I cannot start my phone, stuck on the MOTO logo, and I get the following message "invalid boot state" through fastboot command
Any idea how can I retrieve my phone?!
[SOLVED] After reading carefully tuto...
Thx
Nicolas

It started out where i could only boot into fast boot and NOTHING else, but I found this tutorial where i would erase and replace all the image files and put the g2 in a sort of testing mode. So i did it and when i booted it up....it had the LG logo and the lg logo with a security error....This kept on going for a while until i did a factory hard reset and now it just does it once and then turns off. The only other thing i can seem to boot into is download mode because when i try the tot method it has this error saying CrossDL [D802] to [D800]. And so i try another method which required a kzd file, there are kzd files for everything but the d800, which is what i happened to have. I try for an hour looking for one with no luck. I try the LG mobile support tool but it goes through the first part and just gets stuck on the second part and doesn't even have a loading bar, it just says so not unplug USB. Im really getting frustrated and can find any way to make it work. PLEASE HELP!
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Hello everyone, I am hoping to get some help here as I think I really screwed up my device... (D802 International variant, 32GB)
I try to describe everything as detailed as possible:
I was on the newest Cloudy G2 2.2 ROM with KK basband and it was working fine.
Now I wanted back to crDroid so I decided to put a backup onto my phone (of crDroid) and restore it. (I overwrote the .twrp file in that process)
I must have forgot to wipe before restoring the backup and now after the LG boot logo an error message in the top left corner appears stating:
"boot certification verify"
Secure booting error
cause: "boot certification verify"
Seriously guys, I don't know what to do. I tried to enter download mode but windows did install the drivers and gave me plenty notifications of formating drives... I am really lost. Please somebody help me if possible...

Enter Recovery mode and reflash...
Thanks for the reply but recovery mode is not accessible anymore. I've basically tried every button combination and I am not able to enter download mode either...
EDIT:
I fixed my phone! For everyone experiencing the same issue here is what I did. Please read the OP for a detailed description of the problem:
At first, watch the beginning of this video and check which type of brick you are experiencing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQVTc2m6U-I
If you checked and you are a person having to deal with the quSUSB_BULK type of brick read the following post and watch the following video for clarification on what to do.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/unbrick-lg-g2-qhsusbbulkqualcomm-9006-t2939627
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d5b_osUTug
After following the steps you should be able to access download mode and following this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476) you should be able to flash the respective firmware for your device.
I hope that this tiny little guide may help someone and thank you for any support.
Hi,
I need help with my android smartwatch z3g.
It is with mtk 6572.
I tried to change my imei and wifi mac address for being able to install whatsapp as a second phone with the same account.
After reboot, the system stuck at the the opening logo and doesn't boot up.
I have a backup I made with mtk droid tools.
I tried to recover it using sp flash tool and the download to the watch succeeded but the problem haven't been solved. The watch still stuck at boot.
Is it because the imei was changed? if so, how can I fix it?
appreciate any help..

Have you tried to boot recovery mode? You may be able to factory reset it from there. But read up on it first!

Got the same problem months ago by an upgrade from oreo to pie. Nothing worked except "fastboot reboot bootloader" from terminal followed by pluged in the phone.
It was not possible for me to do more things. Could not solve the problem until I get an EDL-cable. Then found out that the upgrade had damaged the bootloader. Could then flash it with the latest OST, the EDL-cable and the 7.1 Rom.

There are a bunch of instructions how to use the Cable in the right order.
It is important that the driver in Windows is the right one. Most of the time (in mine device) the EDL-mode was detected incorrectly and the driver has to be changed manually.
It's been a while, so I do not remember all the steps. I'm sorry. I've searched the Nokia 5 and 6 Forums. That should answer most of the questions. The rest was try and error.
Good Luck

Try this one for the drivers.
