my none lookscreen got disabled for some reason (admin stuff or cred. storage) i tried clearing cred but it didn`t work.. any help please ?

Could someone please share the HTC Desire 'Stock.apk' & 'Stock.odex' files?
Basically I've removed those 2 (and widgets as well) from my device and now I'm unable to go into 'Accounts & sync' (force close).
It's gonna be painful to go through the root process again and setting up everything from scratch just to retrieve those 2 files...

Found the 2 files in Paul's rootedupdate rom, pushed to phone and everything is back to the way it was

wiping user data may fix the problem i think.
i've removed mojority of htc stuff and wiped
and everything works fine

I'm having a problem with my Defy, I can't seem to connect any of the google apps. This was working fine and suddenly stopped working.
Can't login to Gtalk, can connect to Play Store or Gmail.
What I've tried:
-Wipe Cache
-Wipe Dalvik's Cache
-Re-Set Date/Time
-Uncheck / Check Background Data under Account's and Sync
-Toggling on/off Airplane Mode
-Rebooting
-Setting IP to static
I'm Using the latest stable versión of CM 7.2, with default kernel and settings.
Also, internet seems to work fine, it's just the google apps. (Maps does work)
Any ideas on what can be causing this ?? I really do not want to do a factory reset / wipe data. =(
EDIT: Also my wifi icon is grayed and not green.
EDIT 2: Ok, I've managed to fix it. Did a complete data wipe and re-flashed CM7.2 Now everything is working again. Thanks everyone. =)

I've tried to add a new account to delete de old one, but it doesn't let me. It says "no connection" or something, so the new account cannot be added. =(

as the title says, i'm unable to add any widget to lockscreen... it always gives me "settings stop" error and it doesn't even open the widgets list... (few times it almost gave me the list, but it fc-ed still)
don't know what happened, it was working yesteday...
adding a widget to homescreen (nova launcher) works fine

tried to fix permissions in recovery...
tried to clear cache for settings in titanium
still no change

Hello folks. I've a problem setting wallpapers since yesterday I've done some mess on My phone. All the time i hit "wallpaper" on System display settings i get the message "unfortunately, setting has stopped". I was wondering what i need to do for resolve this issue. I've installed / reinstalled some System apks like wallpaper cropper and sec wallpaper picker, so i think the problem depends from this. Unfortunately, i didnt have Any backup of those, and they neither appear to be installed. Any help Will appreciate, i really don't want to flash the stock rom. Thanks in advance.
Try wiping cache partition , sometimes it's the cache that causes system apps to stop

Since yesterday my OP5 keeps pop-up a message '' Error reading the database! Check the storage permissions! '' And I have no idea why. I Tried to find on web anything about that but I didn't get anything.

This message shows every 1-2 seconds. I Tried to stop all my apps to discover who was the problem but with no success.
I dont wanna do a Factory Reset , so... if anyone has any idea to help me. Thank you !
You rooted? May be you need to install "fix permission" app from playstore to fix permission issue.

I tried to run '' fix permission '' app anyway, but no changes =(

I've got the exact same issue on my Samsung S7 edge
EDIT: I went into Settings > Apps > App permissions > Storage
Then I started ticking all the apps from the top of the list working my way down. Not the best way, but it seems to have stopped the popups! I later went back and unticked apps that definitely need storage permissions, so far so good
