A friend of mine has this lg that doesn't work anymore. It charges without any problem( red led and battery icon that it's charging) but, if I try to turn it on, it simply vibrates or lg logo appears with four led colors. I've tried hard reset,soft reset, plugging on pc but nothing. The only thing I can do is download mode (volume+ / volume - and power button). I've tried using KDZ FW UPD EN but, after some minutes, it says that phone was not found. I've installed lg drivers, disabled modem driver but nothing. I'm doing this on windows xp. Any advices? Or the phone is gone? Thank you so much and sorry for my english

I flash my LG Optimus 7 with the tuto on this forum, and it went well until the reset when it said : " ErrNum502 Emergency Model Fail ".
I can still access the emergency mode but after several flash tries, the phone stays on LG first screen : what can i do ?

I also had the same problem with my E900
While flasing in LGDP2 when the Software comes to RESET ...and the set will be Reboot to LG Logo press STOP button and remove the usb cable .
SWITCH OFF the mobile ,remove battery, refix battery and Switch on ,wait till it reboots one or two times.
Finally if will come to the Windows screen

y have same problem but the program says me errnum6 open port, and my lg e900h only boot on lg logo and again and again until battery drain
Hello guys.. I try to update something (I really don't know what), after updating phone was stuck in recovery mode.. When I turn on phone shows LG logo, then yellow backgroud "EMERGENCY MODE".. I try to repair with LG Support Mobile Tool but program can't recognize phone, when using Volume + and power program recognize phone, but after 3-5 sec stop.. I try reinstall lg drivers but nothing.. How to fix this does someone know ? Sorry for my bad english

HI, i need help, I have Lg G2 D802. It Hangs on LG logo screen with a blinking led. i can go to download mode but the pc just does not recognize the phone (drivers are installed)... if i connected and turn on the phone by normal way it gets stuck at lg logo but the pc recognize it, but if i connected in download mode does not recognized ! ( i need the pc recognized the g2 in download mode for using lg flash tool in order to flash .tot stock firmware) any fix??
what brought me to this is that i was on kitkat and i upgraded to lollipop everything went fine but when booted up the touch screen was crazy all over the place so i tried to go back to stock used the kdz method thats when i got the stuck logo i tried to factory reset but after clicking yes the phone reboots immediately
please help i never faced these problems with other companies i think this is my first soft brick?

I'm having trouble with my LG L7 (p700).
Some weeks ago I installed a rom, and after that it stopped working.
For now on, when i press the power button the screen lights up but stays black. And when it's charging displays a battery icon with the charge percentage.
I tried a lot of times using KDZ to flash a stock rom but it doesn't finish the flashing, or sometimes my pc crashes with a BSOD after some time with the KDZ program opened.
Also, using any combination of buttons doesn't do anything besides the light up black screen or turns off the phone, i can't acess cwm recovery, or even emergency mode, it's always a black screen.
Please someone help me, i really need to use the phone.

This morning i was doing a backup on my lg d803 straight from twrp and the screen turned off. I left it like that for about 10 minutes to make sure the backup would finish.
However, the screen still wont turn on. The phone rebooted once into the lg logo and turned off. It is now stuck like this. It won't boot back into anything
-The phone won't turn on.
-It can't boot into recovery or download modes.
-It it not recognized by my pc in any way (win 10 64 bit with LG drivers installed).
-Holding the power button does not turn it on, not even to the lg logo.
-the button combo for recovery mode does nothing either.

I bricked mine last week. Got it into dowload mode (don't remember, google it) used lg mobile support tool and did recover phone from options and worked like a charm. Didn't even lose any of my installed apps.
Maybe battery level is low
Download mode did not work for me with low battery
I charged for about 2 hours and still could not get into download mode. i tried holding the volume up button while pluging it into the pc and nothing happened on the pc or the phone. No connect sound or anything.
Charging and using combo's don't always work, you should ideally boot into download mode before attaching. Perhaps you should try and make a MacGyver cable with a spare/broken usb charger to charge the battery directly - in-case the port or something is broken.
