Which Country has received the S7 Edge Nougat Update G935FXXU1DPLR?
https://www.sammobile.com/2017/01/04/samsung-rolling-out-nougat-for-the-galaxy-s7-to-some-users/
I really don't know. It appears on some web sites but any links to download yet

It seems Samsung deploys the update for those using the Beta program first. Just to make sure there wont be any big problem on too many smartphones. It should come soon for everyone
Dont forget the network/carrier stage may delay your updates! Im not expecting mine until June at the earliest based on prior timescales.....
Call me sceptical, but it's now been 2-3 days since this news came out and so far nobody has said that they've got this update... Is it just a big load of crap so Samsung can say that they've released nougat?
There's about 15 websites spreading the same news around but still no proof?

I entirely agree with you... I think that if people would "really" have received the update, at least one of them would have captured and shared it here.
Absolutely it looks like it is Fabricated.....may be the screen shot too.
Did not Beta Developers say that the update is being rolled out with Android 7.1.1?
Hi, I'm on Vodafone in Uk. I received nougat V 7.0
beta upgrade today.

Got a Software Update notification tho no update is available, guess they're setting things up (BTU Beta 5)

Mister Optimist!
I was on the Beta program since inception and I don't have the update yet. BTW, I've an unbranded, unlocked UK S7E if it matters
it seems that update for Europe could land next week

Final version out. Beta testers first in line.

I must have answered this question a million times now. Only Samsung knows when the update will drop and they don't give any notification beforehand. Anyone who tries to say otherwise or tries to tell you when they think it'll drop is merely speculating. So the update will come when it does, whether that's today, tomorrow, a week, a month, a year, or never. Nobody here knows at all when
When it does come out, I would guess you will get android 5.1.1. That's what the 8.0 models are getting, and their updates started later than the 10.1 updates
Also, this has been bugging me for a while, do you and DUHAsianSkillz have some sort of intercontinental franchise going? :silly:
Speculation:
↓
Samsung bosses gave mid month deadline to tab 4 updates, it reads in youmobile, so firmware should come in a week or max 1.5 weeks! otherwise some ppl r gonna lose their jobs

Hi Community,
being in Austria the whole last week and received above mentioned update on Tuesday. No idea whether it has been distributed in entire Europe and I am quite surprised, that I do not find anything on the internet incl. this forum about this update.
The update came OTA (268MB) and it is saying that performance and stability should be improved.
Does anybody know, whether this is just an update of the Marshmallow Beta versione or is this already the stable release?
Thx a lot for your feedback and explanations!
This is just an update of béta version
The final one should be end of March but..........

No feature added , just feels little smoother. Had issue with two beeps of locking sound, now haven't seen that. Battery looks slightly improved but wait can't judge it on 3 hrs of usages , after 2-3 cycles it may be clear. Lastly the updated android security patch of April . Will revert back if anything weird happens but nothing till now everything good.

A bit off topic: Since u have imported ur device, will you still get LG India warranty. Asking this because the so called "bootloop" issue is spreading like forest fire amongst the G4 users.
As for V20e update part I will be informing as soon as the update arrives for my H818N.

Bootloop is seen for older handset, my older one is H810 and got my H818 is a week old. The batch after Jan 2016 has got newer version of motherboard so no at risk I think so and no warranty for imported handsets.

Have yet to see Indians complain about it. 30K G4's imported into the country, where are they ?
When i went through a russian thread and used google translate i counted about 25. Out of how many. thousands ?
The bulk of people complaining are single sim. And the poll thread showed they were concentrated around the early builds.

its a phased roll out. You dont roll out an update everywhere at the same time. Roll it out in one country, then wait & watch. Ok ? move to the next country and so on.

kernel still on 3.10, it goes to 3.18 in 6.0.1 i suppose.

S6 users were crying they did not get MM until march.
The G4 got MM in Dec.
Difference is the S6 got 6.0.1, we're still on 6.0
It takes work. Be patient.
Save your prayers for N.
The open question is the security updates. How long will LG keep those up.

Hi Folks,
I recently downloaded Nougat as I could not really wait and wanted to play and tinker around with it myself and test out launchers etc for it.
I then wanted to use my VR headset to get a message saying your device needs an update to use this. Because I am using a early version of the OS I take it that VR will not be support until the full release which I believe is in a few days? well early December?
Might just go back to marshmallow and then wait untill I can get it.

I knew I read about it somewhere. although I thought they would of put a hotfix out their for it. I am not fussy. I am glad their taking it easy with the release. I am running it the now and loving it.

Maybe it was via FF
Maybe it´s not released to everybody.... let me explain:

- 15/09/2017 I received OTA update MHA-L29C432B194 ( never thought it could be only for me !!!, not used to this type of support !!! )

Still talking with Huawei as it did not fix the BlueBorne Bluetooth vulnerability, and my Bluetooth is always on to pair with a Smart band...
Sorry but i never thought that Huawei Support would release anything only for me !! It seems they really care... :highfive:

To establish a pattern of regions where the fw has and hasn't been released. Huawei is famous for delaying or outright excluding whole regions and IMEI ranges for unknown reasons. This allows those excluded to make an informed decision when resorting to alternative upgrade solutions. My device was excluded from B138 back in the day for example.
