Im currently running a Vodafone branded HTC magic
SAPPHIRE PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G

on the official T-mobile 2.2.1 rom
After a reboot I randomly got the error message "system UIDs Inconsistent" and will only let me select "I'm Feeling Lucky" then acore force closes repetitively. It was rooted so I tried reflashing the rom back onto it but it wont boot into recovery. I then tried to use fastboot to put the recovery back onto the device but the phone is detected but I can't put the recovery back on it as I get a message saying "FAILED (remote: not allow)"
Does anybody know how I can fix this problem?

My fault step is:
>Home+power, in the "Anroid system recovery utility" interface, I selected ''wipe data/factory reset". then chosed "apply sdcard : update.zip" (ROM 1.6 file in the sd card). but it shown the message:
"E:No signature
E:Verification failed
Installation aborted "
Then, I can't enter the system normally after the phone restarted. It shown a black screen.
I think the problem is that my Recovery version is low(I didn't update it ever), so I can't flash any ROM, right? But I can't enter the system to update the Recovery. So is there anyway to flash back my magic?

I tried to flash my phone, but now I am stuck at Rogers logo whenever I tries to boot it
I can boot into recover and fast boot only.
I tried t flash some custom ROMs but most of them stuck at verification. The only one that installed successfully is a CyanogenMod for hTC hero, but I can't boot into it... Help!

OMG... I was searching for various articles about how to flash my phone, but I think I flashed something wrong into my phone.
I can still go into Fastboot, but no recovery boot anymore.
And when I check my device info, it become:

Can anyone please advise me what to do?
I have a Vodafone 32b lying around so I thought I try and flash a new rom in it as it was running stock Froyo 2.2.1.
other details are
HBOOT is 1.33.0013
CPLD-10
Radio 2.22.28.25
However I now have it stuck on the vodafone boot screen after trying to flash to Donut.
This happened after trying to follow the following:

I have also rooted deleted the recovery image in system drive but can still boot to the standard android v3 recovery.

Welcome. I have big problem with my M9 Camera Edition. I cant run it, always stuck on HTC logo. S-ON, Locked boot, can't unlock via htc dev. I have one firmware for it, but when i try to flash it via Fastboot, i see only messeage that i should unlock boot first, and its S-ON.
Any ideas please?
You need to use the ruu.exe that matches the current firmware.
If you put the phone in bootloader mode you can see your current firmware version where it says "OS XX. XXX. XXX. XX"
Then download mode for flashing the ruu..
