Title explains it all, about to purchase this beauty of a tablet.
Just out of curiosity will 8GB be enough, as I plan to use this tablet for quite a while.
I have a HOX which I use about 2GB worth of space, but I shall hopefully be trying to use my tablet instead of my PC (for entertainment etc, obviously not for work).
Any one got the 8GB, can you see it being enough?
Or would you go for the 16GB?
Thanks in advanced all !
The 8gb Version only got ~6gb free space....
The 16gb got ~13gb...i think 6gb would be too less and you would punch yourselfe if you will not spend 50bugs more for this double of free space.
Some games or apps ...some mp3 or 1video and the 8gb would be full...
Buy the large version

The only thing I was thinking was link it to DropBox.
But yeah I'm gonna get the 16GB version.
My only other issue is I keep questioning myself, is 7inch big enough?
Especially when I have a phone with a 5inch screen.
Thanks !
There is a huge difference in experience between 5" and 7". 7" is big enough for a tablet, but you still keep the portability of something you could take with you everywhere.

I Guess so, n I think the 10 inch tabs like the iPad are just too big and un-comfortable, with it was a N8/N8.5 haha !
I find the 7" just perfect for sitting in the park and internetting
around. Just as I am doing now.
Remember it only has WiFi, so tethering with a phone is needed.

YES!
5 inches is just too small and 10 inches is such a handful your wrist gets sore the more you play with it. In fact, generally a 10 inch will mean you need to hold it in both hands.
7 Inches seems to be a perfect point in terms of size. You can grip it firmly and comfortably with one hand and with extended use your wrist won't get tired at all. It's also large enough though that you can do anything with it. There is simply a lot of entertainment possible with the 7 inch.
I could never go back to 10 inches now.
Edit: I should add that if you plan to just whip it out and use it 5 inches gets the job done just fine, it just takes more effort, it's fiddly, you need to take more care to touch the right places. Sometimes you just feel you need a magnifying glass.

I'm so incredibly immature, I know, but I started reading this post and it sounded like you weren't talking about the Nexus 7. The bits I've put in bold made me giggle in particular.

I have a Desire HD. There it is on Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Portabe Wi-Fi hotspot
I have an 8GB version, looking back I should have got the 16GB version. HD vidoes and such are quite large, backups of ROMS. Just would have been nice to have the extra space for 50 bucks.
I have a 16 gigabyte mmc... Its nothing... Trust me get a 32 GB.. Truly worth buying ad u will hv to wry abt the lack of content .. Nt the space left
Click THANKS button if I helped, or u liked my post.
Will be honored.
If you can point us towards a 32Gb N7 I'm sure there will be many takers.
Hello, this is the first (and so far only) phone that I've tried with cardboard.
It's pretty cool but I'm a little disappointed about the massive drift that I experience
I practically have to sit on a swivel chair turning constantly...
Is the H7 worse than most other phones in this aspect? Or is this a common problem for all?
Can it be fixed by calibrating or messing with the sensors?
Please share your VR experiences with the Honor 7
Hi,
I use my honor 7 eu with google cardboard and VR Box and no drift so far. Im in B140.

Ok, good to hear. I'll try some more apps...
By the way, would you recommend VR Box? (do you have the older or 2.0?)
I'll probably buy that one, Shinecon, Bobo Z3 or IWOWN
Of the cheap (~20$ on ebay) HMDs those seem to be the best
Anyone else with a cardboard recommendation for Honor 7?

All,
just received my new Polar M600 and wonder whether there is already a community for this watch?
It is running on AndroidWear is it not ?
Envoyé de mon MI NOTE LTE en utilisant Tapatalk
it runs Android Wear 1.5.0.3095245. According to the press it is build for Android Wear 2.0 once it is released...
I have mine, love it. Looking forward to wear 2.0.
Any bugs, downsides you've discovered? Do you guys use the watch as a daily driver, worn always? Does it feel/look huge/heavy? I'm used to my Polar Loop and wondering if I dare to make an order without trying the M600 on my wrist... I wonder which looks smaller, the black or white one?
Also, how quick is the GPS to lock on signal?
I have the same thoughts, I use a M400 today but miss my smart watch. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/08/...ar-based-m600-gps-sport-watch-with-music.html have a nice review if you not read it.

I am using mine as a daily driver... It is a bit bulky but very comfortable.
During daily use it behaves like a standard Android Wear device. The polar app is quite user friendly I especially like the sync with the automatically created training plan.
The watch also works not only wiith the build in optical HRM but also with a H7 wich might mearure the heart rate a bit more accurate...
Just got mine yesterday, like it so far. I'm surprised there seems so little discussion on it anywhere on the web. Noticed voice control seems very finicky.
Hi there
I need an info on this watch, hope you can look into it.
Is the m600 an Android wear device with a polar app or does the integration of polar/Android go deeper than this ?

It's a regular Android Wear device. Polar software is an app. Only real difference is that you can start the Poral app with a dedicated button.
Thanks @loermansa
I guess then that we should be able to instal the app on any Android wear device ?
Question is ... Will the HR sensor also work if not built by polar...

How can it be that there are only 2 pages of discussion of this amazing watch? It seems to have everything i want: GPS, HR monitor, waterproof for swimming and 500mAh battery
And only weights 63g :highfive:
I have the M600 since a week an really like it. Used a Sony smart watch 3 before to compare with. All seems good, battery life an training function. The display is quite small but works. Voice functions and wear function is good.

Got mine yesterday (had a M400 before), but it seems to be broken. Bootloops after max 5 minutes of usage, even while setting it up. Tried resetting, contacted polar support, nothing helps. Will exchange tomorrow.
On mine voice control was dead out of the box - mic volume really low. Contacted Polar and they replaced it. New one seems OK so far.
Android Wear has been delayed until first quarter 2017

Because there is a bug that prevents some of them from connecting to the phone which requires the phone to be returned and they apparently have no way to identifying which watches have the bug so they can recall them from retailers? I spent over 2 hours today trying to get mine to work before finally finding someone who claimed to have spoken with Polar Support who informed him of the problem.

No matter how you look at it, it is a niche product. A smartwatch built by a sports accessories manufacturer. It works good and I'm happy with it. But it will never be a mainstream product. It's too big to be a regular Android Wear watch and it's too smartwatch-y (i.e. too little battery life) to be used as a regular sportswatch. If you can live with it, you'll appreciate it.

Hi,
can someone provide the Polar app APK from the M600? I want to try it out on a Huawei Watch only to track activity to polar flow.
Thanks
Einhard
I have this problem every time you restart the smartwatch climb the steps on the polar flow.
The problem is only in the clock on the phone have normally

Thoughts? Ain't trying to pay $150 for a dock if I can get a generic one that does the same thing for cheaper.
I imagine it'll only take a few months for 3rd party ones to come out. Even if not, much like the VR these things are gonna drop down to around $75 used, I'm positive.
FYI the cable creation docks works perfectly for me
Try amazon and save 50. I think I got mine for 98. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XR9M1ZP
Leena UI desktop (play store), combined with fold BT keyboard with TouchPad (aliexpress, usd 23) - and screen casting, if needed- gives me a 100% Dex alternative, with fraction of price and without cables. Just my 2c.

Care to elaborate what you are casting to? Do you see a lot of UI lag? I think the point of the physically connected dock is for a more realistic and flawless experience.
Hey All,
The last few days I have been doing a lot of research because I'm interested in buying a good IPTV solution. From what I've read Nvidia Shield was good, but the latest updates bring a bunch of advertisements to the platform. Another option I was looking at was the Fire TV Cube gen 3, but the reviews have been kind of mixed. That brings me to this device "Firefly Station M3". It's a little expensive, but from the looks of it, it's a really "beefy" device with the latest hardware. It supports a lot of ram and storage. It has a really good CPU/GPU compared to its competitors.
Here is a link to the device: https://www.stationpc.com/product/stationm3
I know the device has a custom android rom, but I'd be curious if I can wipe it and just put on a stock android 12 tv rom on it?
Ideally, what's important to me is a vanilla/stock Android 12 TV OS on the device that is smooth, lag free, quick and responsive.
I want to be able to load common video providers such as amazon prime, netflix, hulu, etc..
One thing I have read is that with the 3rd party devices (maybe like this one), you can load Netflix, but it has limitations to the quality of the stream if it's not Netflix certified. I'm not sure if that would be the case with this device.
Anyway, I just want a device that works and is easy to navigate and that's responsive. I probably wouldn't be playing a bunch of games anytime soon, but I guess the thought of doing it in the future is cool. I'd mostly be using it for streaming shows/movies and I'd be interested in using an IPTV subscription at some point.
Sorry for the long post, just wanted to summarize what I am looking for. I would appreciate it if someone has any input on this device or anything that would meet the requirements of what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the response. I ended up ordering the Mekotronics R58x. I actually just made a new thread regarding it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mekotronics-r58x.4566865/
Anyway, I'm still playing with the device and "customizing" it to my liking, but in terms of speed and performance this device is a BEAST! Everything basically loads instantly and it runs soo smoothly. Also another perk is that android 12 comes rooted stock.
