Galaxy Prime Bricked? - Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, a friend of mine brough me his phone; he told me that it just didn't turn on again and it hasn't no waranty so i decided to try to do something to fix it.
Is not the first time that i worked with samsung phones, so i technically know what to do; i downloaded Odin v3.12, the latest Samsung drivers and the correct firmware
The phone boots inmediately to download mode but it shows that doesn't find some JPG images. The exact text is below:
NO IMAGE: warningmessage.jpg
NO IMAGE: download_image.jpg
ODIN MODE (MULTI CORE DOWNLOAD)
PRODUCT NAME SM-G531m
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
FAP LOCK: OFF
KNOK WARANTY VOID: 0x0
Secure Download: Enable
RP SWREV: S0, L0, M0
I tried to flash an oficial firmware but ODIN tells me that there is no pit partition. I understand that this error means that PIT partition is screwed or something. I have no pit file for this phone so i searched the internet and found the Pit file for the 531F variation. I couldn't find any descriptive information that explains me if there's a diference in the internal memory between 531M and 531F so y decide to take the risk.
What i found is that ODIN give's me error every time y try to flash with de PIT file, saying that there were an error whith the repartition.

I downloaded another versions of ODIN and the only one tha't doesn't give me error is the 3.07 version but the flash process stuck at <ID:0/004> NAND Write Start!!
The only clue that i have is an hipothesis: Maybe the pit file is not the correct one, but more than that, i don't know anything else. The log of ODIN is not very descriptive and i don't know what else i can do, except to try to find a Pit file extracted from another SM-G531M.
- is there a chance that some of you could helpme to find a correct pit file?
- could this happend for another reasons rather than a pit partition screwed out?
- is there something else that i should do?

Note 3 retail failed flash, please help

Hello,
I had Alliance ROM and tried to flash Jasmine 5.0, but the phone restarted before it finished and now the phone only show either the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" logo or download mode, recovery is gone.
When I try to enter recovery mode, the phone vibrates once and the screen stays black if i release the power button, but keep holding volume up and home.
If i dont release power, it keeps vibrating and a black screen.
I tried restoring to any possible image, MJE, NC2, NC4 and OB6, using Odin 3.09. All fail.
Tried using a Pit file, since the other error states that it cant find a pit file, that also failed.
Odin log is with Pit file:

Go to either a Verizon Company store or to Best Buy and go to the Samsung experts (at the Samsung section) and have them do a complete flash.
They can flash it to pure stock. There should be no issues since Knox and Warranty fuses are not blown
Just tell them it got knocked off the desk in the middle of an upgrade and the battery popped out.
Sent from my Note 3 via Tapatalk
Damn, thats a good advice and it didnt occur to me before.
I actually called Samsung and after talking to one of their techs, they recommended to send it to them.
Sadly, it will cost 80 bucks, but per one of the devs here, it does looks like a part of knox locked the storage and only a new motherboard can fix this.
Either way, 80 bucks is not that bad, given that the alternative is buying another phone for 250 or so.

now phone doesnt boot
can you do me favor ?
If it boot to download mode, try flashing a 4 file package stock rom. You can get it with SamFirm.
Sounds like a soft brick, but if the reactivation lock is on, you wont be able to flash anything through odin.
i have tried with 4 part firmware but that error apears.
i dont acces to disable reactivation lock . so what shoud i do now? do you have any idea?
try using the pit file as well, it's included on the CSC package of the 4 part files. Load it on the PIT tab.
If that wont make a difference, your eMMC (internal storage) is either locked or done.

If I only select the AP tar file I get SECURE CHECK FAIL: boot
instead of the PIT.
I added all 4 tar files in ODIN, BL, AP, CP, CSC.
This is a VZW phone.
Any help getting this to boot would be appreciated. Thanks.
You're simply trying to flash the wrong firmware/pit.
And you're in the wrong section, head over there: Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Well I'm searching everywhere and people keep not answering or saying it's the wrong firmware....
I tried two different downloads of the firmware....It's the PE1 for my verizon s7 edge.
I extracted both, have tried with and without the vzw s7edge pit, multiple different cords and ports.
And same issue. I wish every reply would not be...wrong firmware.
Use Samsung own app to restore firmware. Download and install smart switch ,go to emergency software recovery and initialization, device initialization and there put ur model and SN from the back of ur phone..and it will download the right firmware that came with the phone and will install it. Hope it helps

PIT error - flash with odin

Hello,
i had all common problems with my stock branded note 4 (freezing, restarting, eMMC Failure,..) and i tried to resolve them with simpler methods (wipe reset, no microsd,..) but without results.
Then i tried to flash stock rom no brand but again without results; i decide to try the custom ROM (lineage-15.1-20180808-UNOFFICIAL-trlte) but the phone continued to freeeze and to swich off.
Now i would like to return with stock rom but i havw a problem with PIT file during the flashing of custom Rom with Odin; the procedure fails.
When i start the phone i have the errore " firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again"; now i cant' go in recovery mode but only in download mode.
If i try to flash the stock rom i have this problem :

Thank you
Which version do you have? I have the PIT files for the 910C and 910F that I've extracted from my Note 4s.
You load both the PIT file and stock ROM into ODIN and flash them together.
EDIT: Just noticed you've had the mmc_read failed error. The above might not work depending on how far gone your emmc is.
Thank you! My version is 910F.
I read about a solution where it's necessary to put the phone in the freezer and i'll try it flashing with ODIN.
How do i have to set Odin?
AP: I have downloaded the stock firmware in Sanmobile and i'll use it
PIT file? in BL?
I would like also to reset the knox counter (my intention is to give back the phone using the Samsung evaluation of the used phones); is it possibile?
Thank you
There's a separate option to select the PIT file in Odin.
You can't reset Knox, it's an efuse, once tripped/blown then that's it.
