I have a silly question. I've purchased a A2017 4G 64GB. However I only see 16GB memory in the storage. I thought it is supposed to have 64GB. Am I wrong?
I've installed A2017U B29. Does it support 4G network?
Out of 64 you should see close to 50 available probably on a new device. That's just a rough guess.
I have a lot of apps and only have used 24gb out of 64.

You're correct that they don't have 16gb version. But the device is correct besides rom size.
Did it read as 16GB even before you flashed the A2017U firmware?

If you say so,ok cool.
Try downloading the version you where before in your A2017,
* Perform a FORMAT DATA
* Flash A2017 zips files
* Reboot back to System and check if that helps.
I haven't run into this case before, so this may or may Not help.

I am confusing between wiping and format. Are you talking about wiping data? I did do that before flashing A2017U.
I don't remember which A2017 version it was but I did upate to the latest version via OTA. Do you think I can get latest zip file? Do I use TWRP or original recovery? Should I format internal sd card before flashing?
Thanks for all your helps

Well done. You may want to consider renaming the thread to something more specific - include version, date etc., because "new" tells nothing.
Looking into the zip I can see modem patches - presumably it´ll be the same radio upgrade like we got for DE version, also OTG USB storage fix and probably something more, because the zip is 2,5MB bigger than the German one. Maybe later I´ll flash US firmware and apply this OTA to check it.

I pulled this update but haven't applied it. I have your languages mod installed along with custom font and logo.bin. Would there be any problem flashing this update?
Also, I have custom recovery (TWRP), so would I have to switch back to stock recovery? (And where is it available?)

Yes, you have to restore your decice to clear 4.4 before applying this ota. Because if you try it to install you'll have bootloop
And with this "minor" update my led starts blinking on missing calls

Warning: if you look a few posts up, he says this mod has problems with this update. For now, I'm not going to apply the update. In fact, I might be flashing Cyanogenmod soon.
There is a recent update firmware on sammobile for S3 Neo GT-I9301I for Netherlands region. And i am not from Netherlands so i download it and try to flash it through odin. On first attempt it failed without any notification or warning. I tried again and successfully flashed it. When mobile starts and i was looking for changes i saw a strange thing, there was only 1.27 GB used out of 11.47 GB. Yes it was and still it is. And all of you know that it should be around 5.50 GB to 6. GB.
Remember i did a clean installation. I wiped everything out from my mobile, there was no data on internal memory at all.
Guys what is this?

Hi, I bought a GR5 KII-L22 from a person who installed the B310 with Emui 4.0 but the phone lost the signal and showed onky 1 imei (different from both of the box) so I installed The B130 and got working signal and dual sim even itshows 1 imei only, the thing is also showing 1GB Ram, resolution 540*960 and 4GB of internal storage, I can not find a method for the bootloader unlocking and lost 4.75$ on dc unlocker but I put the wrong imei to get the firmware key (it doesnt show the read bootloader unlock code)
ay fix for my issue?
Ye its kind off ****ed, ita fixable tho dont use DC unlocker lol. Open Sim card tray the Right Imei should be there from that Point u can unlock the bootloader. What u also can do is apply Stock firmware through ota so ur on B130/140 again.
Arobase40 said:
This is typical after a downgrade from Marshmallowt the model and sub-model of your phone and apply again the full B130 or B140 firmware using the local update or the Power On + Volumes buttons.

To my knowledge, you can flash any of the different variants (KB05AA,-BA,-BD,...) on any phone and they'll work.
So you can use the roll back zip, which takes you back to OOS 11.11, and then install the version you want (KB05BA) of OOS 11.13.
I don't know what they mean, but I assume KB is for kebab, and AA is for the global variant, BA is for the EU variant, and BD is for the Indian variant.
But that naming convention seems to have gone out the window with OOS 12.
