Hi I bought this variant in exchanging my Galaxy S7 flat model. The phone variant is now available in India from 31 of December 2016 in all Samsung stores.
Two main reasons which made me to turn to this model:
1. Storage ( which was less in flat model)
2. The stunning complete black colour in all surfaces and more shining than the normal black onyx.
It has to be prebooked first then only it can be made to purchase.
In India it cost at 56900 rupees.

Mind posting some pictures of it, if possible?
I'm contemplating on whether or not to trade in my Black Onyx 32GB S7e, the extra storage would certainly be appreciated lol.

I am tempted by this. Have a S7 Edge which I picked up in November (was a Note 7 prebooker). Have already run out of space thanks to VR apps. How much of a price reduction can you expect if you trade in the 32GB version and buy the 128GB one?
Also, with the S8 out in a few months, wondering if it even makes sense to buy the 128GB version, especially if you already have the 32GB one. I am pretty sure S8 will be a radical departure and something that may even need you to buy a new VR headset.
Currently, a bit confused about what to do!

My S7 flat was exchanged for just 28000 INR. It was only Samsung showroom who accepted this amount whereas other sellers were highly disappointing me in the exchange value. As I said earlier I was dying out of storage since I use mobile more in both official and personal than my PC. Hence I need storage. Also dual sim support where carriers like Reliance jio are giving VoLTE services.
You can wait for S8 if you need but remember S8 mostly will not support the current VR glass and many changes and more luxury ( costlier than note 7)

SAMSUNG'S Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge could be a pricey purchase, according to a fresh leak.
Samsung will launch its next flagship smartphone next week at the Mobile World Congress tradeshow in Barcelona.
But one of the biggest surprises of the announcement – the price – might already be out of the bag, thanks to a fresh leak.
Dutch technology blog Tweakers published a list of European prices for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with 32GB of internal storage.
This will not likely be the most storage available, so expect the top-end model to be considerably more.
The 32GB Galaxy S7 and 32GB Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to cost €699 and €799, some £540 and £620 converted.
Last year, Samsung charged £599 for the Galaxy S6 and £699 for the Galaxy S6 Edge in the UK at launch. Both of this prices dropped a few months after launch due to sluggish sales.
Some reports suggest every pre-order of an S7 model will come with a free Samsung VR headset, which would add value to a hefty price tag.

Samsung's Galaxy S7 will be available in the United States on Friday March 11th 2016, serial leaker Evan Blass has previously posted on Twitter.
Mr Blass has an almost impeccable track record, so it's safe to assume the Galaxy S7 will hit US stores on that date. It's likely to arrive on UK shores in the days that follow.
An employee for the hugely-popular South Korean firm has revealed that the next-generation handset will feature a black chassis, to build-on its premium feel.
The smartphone will also reportedly feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and will sit flush with the body of the phone, unlike the bulkier 16-megapixel rear camera shipped with the Galaxy S6.
Samsung is also believed to be focusing on low-light performance with a number of lens improvements and a larger sensor.
Speaking to a Korean publication, the alleged employee claims the Galaxy S7 will be dust and water resistant and will also reintroduce the microSD card slot to the flagship smartphone range.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy S7 previously revealed the smartphone will use microUSB rather than USB-Type C for syncing and fast-charging.
Wireless charging via the Qi standard will also be supported, insiders reveal.
The Wall Street Journal also collaborated recent reports the flagship smartphone will be one of the first mainstream Android smartphones to ship with a pressure-sensitive display.
Synaptics is believed to be developing the pressure sensitive display and technology that will power the new smartphone.
Similar to Apple's 3D Touch, the Synaptics' technology – dubbed ClearForce – responds to different levels of pressure applied to the multitouch glass display.
The pressure sensitive technology will allow Samsung to add more options to the display than the traditional swipe, pinch and tap used on multi-touch smartphones.

Not trying to start an argument here, but I honesty don't blame him. I got the S6 edge and it barely lasts me a day. Never complained of battery life before I sold my Galaxy S5.
So evidently there will be no Note 6 coming out. Man WTF I was hyped about the Note 6 coming out but now I will never have the chance to own one!! Its ok I will buy a Note 7 instead!

That's exactly why. Some people (ridiculous imho) might view the Note 6 being inferior to the to GS7, just by the simple fact of the number being lower. Seems not as new as the GS7. I guess to match iPhone 7 too.

I gave my s7 edge to the wife. My note 4 rooted is better battery and pimped to my liking. Too bad. That phone was gorgeous.
I used to root and flash a ton. For an experiment I tried using a stock ROM on my note 4. Found I didn't have anymore use for root and Roms and got used to it quick.
On the s7 I enjoy using Samsung pay since it uses a virtual card at the stores so when places like Target get hacked again, they won't have my real card number. And I can't use Samsung pay with root or Knox tripped.
Will get the note 7(6) when it comes out of it is water resistant and has a micro sd card slot.
Some people still enjoy flashing and rooting and that's cool. I just don't have the time anymore with work and raising a family.

Also evidently the Note 7 wont ship with Android N. just 6.0.1. These are all rumors or so called leaks but....hope it releases with flat screen option and Android N!
The Note series rarely, if ever launches with the most up to date Android. Since they launch almost in tandem, if not slightly before/after the official Android launch. Our 910T didn't get 5.0.1 until late April of the following year.

Nice picture, so the LTE bands on the CHN / KOR are the same as the one for US & INT?
It's really tempting but since Samsung US doesn't have an upgrade plan like how TMO JoD does, I'll just wait to trade in my S8+ for the Note 8.
What's the model # for this version? And do they have blue coral with 128/6GB ram?
I would also like to know if the LTE bands are the same as T-Mobile in the US. Please advise...
If they dont sell it in Europe, they dont sell it in the USA, they dont sell it in Korea, where the hell are they selling it??

It wouldn't fit period. The adapter is way too large even if you stripped all the plastic away and tried making it smaller.
There's a reason why Samsung made a new one where you can change the end.
Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
That is shameful. I was hoping it will still work as I left the small adapter at work. Now I need to constantly borrow my wifes S7 edge. She won't like that.
If you have an 8 then you should have a new come coming.

For reference. You see where the black plastic Is? Probably 2-3mm where the metal meets the plastic is where the end of the USBC needs to be to even allow a device to fit with an adapter.
Your best option is to wait for the one that comes with your preorder. If you bought it 3rd party then your best bet is to buy a new one.
Or you can give your wife the 8 and you sport the 7 if VR is important to you.

Hey fellow Samsung Knights? I was really excited about the Note 10 until the leaks started rolling in and now I'm not even sure I want it anymore. I sure love me some s-pen action but at what cost. Other than said s-pen I see no reason to upgrade/switch to the Note 10.
I just wanted to hear from you guys in this community. Is the Note 10/Plus worth it?
Yes, not much of an upgrade, other than the storage being faster and front camera changing to pin hole centered.
Was gonna upgrade a couple months ago when it came out, but il stick to s10+ and wait for the s11. I don't use the pen and I have started using the aux input a lot since I have it again (came from OnePlus 6t)
Personally I upgrade every 2 years but interested to see what it brings. More excited for the tab s5 - s6 as I currently have the tab s3 and am looking to upgrade it.

Depends on the user I guess. I have no use for 1 OR 2 of them on the front, so getting rid of the big oval eyesore on the S10 series would be an upgrade for me!

It's been a few generations now that the "next one" has never been "exciting enough" to upgrade in the first place. Same case it would be for the vast majority, jumping from S10+/Note 9 to Note 10(plus)!
Having said this, little things like UFS 3.0, 7nm Exynos 9825, ToF sensor, 45W charging, possibly a button-free overall design, no dedicated hardware bixby, hopefully an upgraded OneUI right outta box etc. actually do excite me. Hence will definitely buy the "plus" , also because I never skipped any "S" or "N".

Yes ment tab s6 it was referred to as the tab s5 till a leak a few weeks back suggested samsung would go to s6 now everyone is calling it that.
The Note 10 plus is looking better and better. SD 855+ apparently the cameras won't be the same as the s10 plus. 12GB /256GB as basic configuration. It's probably going to start at $1800 CAD. Good thing I held off buying the iPhone XS Max, still got 2 good kidneys. ?

I would tend to agree with you. If you want the Note you tend not to want the watered down version. Unless the price is really compelling which I doubt.
I know I want it, I'm just not sure I want it pre-ordered at full price since I don't see the trade in reservations on Samsung.com/ca it's a US only thing for now.

I was excited until I read that there will not be a headphone jack. Without the jack there probably won't be a FM radio either and I use both daily.
I would be more interested in the non plus Note 10 for the better size but TBH would be looking at it more as an S10+T than a Note.
Will the Note 10plus have 3d face unlock?
