Have you signed into Google? If your contacts were saved in your Google account, you can access them by logging into that particular account in Google website. If those were saved in phone storage then I think you can recover them by using Samsung SmartSwitch in tablet or PC.

I wonder if a micro usb to hdmi/vga could work

[Q] My phone's screen cracked and I need to recover the contacts!

Hey everyone, I need to get these contacts off of this phone, but my digitizer is busted and it won't respond to touch. The screen won't turn on either. How could I pull the contacts off of this phone? ADB isn't enabled, but my phone is rooted. I was hoping one of you all could help me enable adb, so I could pull the contacts off that way. Any other suggestions would be fair game as well. Thanks.
You don't have your contacts backed up with your Google account?

The SIM card on the sprint s4 is removable, maybe the sprint store can help you recover your info from it (if possible).
Just open your gmail account from a computer and you can get them all from there. They sync to your gmail account.

Backup Contacts No Screen

My dads phone was run over by a car and it crakced the screen to the point you aren't able to see anything. The home and back button still lit up fine and he was able to receive incoming calls. He swapped his SIM to the replacement phone but none of his contacts were there or linked to his Google account so guessing everything is stored on the phone itself. Is there anyway to get the contacts via ADB or any other app? It should be connected to the wireless at home if I need to push an app from playstore.

I was able to backup and restore a good number of the backups using Kies, but some of the contacts are missing I am told. Would there be some that aren't backed up this way, assuming I accounted for those in Google and the accounts Kies tells you it won't backup?

How the heck do you upload your contacts to your google acount. Going from S6 to S5.

I have a bunch of contacts on my S6 phone. Most of them are on the sim card or in the "phone". About 20% of them are on my google account when I choose to display only google account contacts.
When I go to my accounts on the S6 and click on on my google account to sync my "contacts", It says "last synced" just then and there as you expect, however, it only syncs the contacts that are present in my google account, NONE of the new ones in my sim card or phone. I guess I have been saving new contacts to my phone rather than my google account, so what good is sync?
So when i go to my S5 and log in with the google account, it ONLY has the google account contacts present, and none of the other ones in the S6. I want to have ALL my contacts in my S5 that I have in my S6.
Furthermore, the S5 uses kies and the S6 uses smart switch, so I cant even work out how to sync the contacts on my computer and put them on the other phone!
Same for memos!
WTF samsung why did they drop KIES for the S6?
Search for Copy Contacts on Play Store

Thanks westwood. I already solved the problem using an awesome app called "phone copier" I did it via bluetootha and viola it did ALL the contacts.
Prior to this I spent literrlay 4+ hours trying to get my contacts from one phone to the other. There was simply no way to do it via offical means, or if there was it as so convoluted and unimaginative that its ridiculous. I tried using smartswtich on both the s5 and s6 via the pc. I backed up one on phone and plugged in the other and restored. Guess what. AGAIN only the 30% or so google account contacts copied. Then I tried smartswitch over the air via play store. Guess what the phones found each other, but then one of them said not enough space and closed down without even letting me see what was going on. HEY I only want to copy contacts!! What do you mean not enough space. Ridiculous.

No google acc previously synced available. What now?

Hello there,
I bought a used Zuk Z1 and I am faced with this message "Sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device"
Of course I cannot get the previous owners email, and when I try with my email, it just rejects the input.
I have wiped and reset the phone but to no avail.
Have followed two youtube guides on solving the gmail account issue, but both failed to allow me access to the phone.
Downloaded all the tools I could find, but I cannot control the phone from my PC, as I cannot access the settings in order to allow the USB debugging option. However my PC sees the sd card of the phone
Excluding the fact that the phone seems to react normal, I cannot use it as it remains in the 3rd screen where it asks for the gmail account that has benn previously synced with...
Any ideas are more than welcome.
Thanks

Tried with Samsung Kies or Smart Switch via USB? Either are PC Software and are able to backup/restore your contacts
If you sync your contacts with your google account, just go to contacts.google.com
All contacts are backed up, just go to your Google account or sign in on another device and they should be there.
