506238 @OMJ I hope you can help me. I'm currently rooted, s-off, with twrp, and running Bad Boyz Sprint HTC Bolt ROM 7.0 Sense 8 v1.3
I have explored the rom and went down the list of mods and features and found everything except "tether/hotspot support" in my install....is there a 2nd step to enable hotspot?
I really appreciate the help!

Hi,
I just got a Samsung S Fascinate (Froyo) with Telus and I wan't to get rid of Touchwiz.
Can I root it with "super-one-click root"? Other ways?
Which ROMs are popular and considered stable?
Is that all I would need to do?
thanks
Not appropriate for the dev forum kthxbye.

Unless someone else released a rom, there is my lonely port of cyanogens.
But this is indeed better asked in general

"kthxbye?" Really!? *sigh*
Nothing to help with at all?
Right now the buzz is about Froyo, and hopefully we'll have more to go with if Froyo can succeed on this particular Galaxy Device...
Do anybody know where i can get it? please and thanks

Hello.
Since i could post in the real gingerbreak thread i try to post it here.
According to the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 i should format my SD card and then i can install gingerbreak and try to temproot it.
The problem is that when i press "root device" it starts to work and after 45 seconds - 1 min it reboots so i go into Android Terminal and write SU and it says access denied?
Have tried to post it on several other forums... what am i missing?
/Schlibib
I assume you're on stock HTC software? That gingerbreak page says it *may* work on some Froyo versions but it doesn't seem likely.
I'd try to root using one of the proven ways found in the Evo forums. I'm guessing that this isn't working because it's intended to be used on phones running Gingerbread which the Evo does not have yet.
Don't misunderstand me.. the following questions insinuate nothing, just trying to get a little more info.
What device and software are you attempting to use GingerBreak on?
What do you hope/plan to achieve by using GingerBreak?
oh i'm so sorry.... so obvious that i should have mentioned that i have the OTA 2.3.3
i'm hoping to put in a better rom such as leedroid for better batterytime

There definitely is signal increase of both cdma and lte.
I did notice a slight increase in battery usage after flashing.also a very small lag.like if I was low on memory or something.
Overall nothing major so definitely worth it for the signal boost.

Anyone up to pulling the new radios and posting them for all to have? Or have I over looked them?
I overlooked!
When flashing radios......do you flash CDMA first or LTE? Or does it not matter?
Thanks!
