Has anyone managed to install either of these successfully onto any of the new 2.2 roms? Or am I the only person who uses Plurk?

Hello.
Since i could post in the real gingerbreak thread i try to post it here.
According to the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 i should format my SD card and then i can install gingerbreak and try to temproot it.
The problem is that when i press "root device" it starts to work and after 45 seconds - 1 min it reboots so i go into Android Terminal and write SU and it says access denied?
Have tried to post it on several other forums... what am i missing?
/Schlibib
I assume you're on stock HTC software? That gingerbreak page says it *may* work on some Froyo versions but it doesn't seem likely.
I'd try to root using one of the proven ways found in the Evo forums. I'm guessing that this isn't working because it's intended to be used on phones running Gingerbread which the Evo does not have yet.
Don't misunderstand me.. the following questions insinuate nothing, just trying to get a little more info.
What device and software are you attempting to use GingerBreak on?
What do you hope/plan to achieve by using GingerBreak?
oh i'm so sorry.... so obvious that i should have mentioned that i have the OTA 2.3.3
i'm hoping to put in a better rom such as leedroid for better batterytime

Cool story bro, only that it is not related to any "Development" and the RUU has been with rcmix team and few others since a long time who are already under resizing the resources for WVGA screen.
Thanks for the Info

There already is a thread for devs porting Sense to our beloved HD2 from and Sensation XE RUU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409004
This is only a newer RRU (3.24 instead of 3.06)...
Since the other thread is awfully quiet I guess there isn't too much interest for a port or it's exceptionaly hard.
Cheers,
/Cacti

you cannot.
HTC published Offical RUU only for Sensation (XE/XL)
This specific ROM? You can't.
Any other ROM? Please don't be serious. You cannot actually be so lazy that you can't type that same question in the search box and get thousands of instant responses.
Ew please dont put htc's non-sense on our beautiful ics/hd2
??
How well would sense 3.6 rom work with ICS i tested ICS for the HTC HD2 and the camera is still being developed doesn't scan any barcodes
Hello Everyone..

well if you visited that website and looked in thier forum you would see
there isnt a codename android for the hd2
and since it isnt in the hd2 android dev section then no one has found it
worth porting to the hd2
and it doesnt really look any different to roms that Xylo and Tytung have done

Lmao maybe you should try searching first
Anyway, as Kameirus said there isn't a Codename Android ROM for the HD2 and even if someone did port one tbh it doesn't look right now like it's anything special to me. It basically seems like a slightly modified AOSP/CM ROM.

Hi guys! I'm here to help you. I could try to do the same as I just did in case of HTC HD2, but as I don't have a SGSIII, I will need testers.
Please PM me if you want to help.
