Sadocom KDL 10.1 inch - review +problems

Dear all,
I am new to the forum and also this is my first android unit bought so please bear with me. It replaced the old RNS510 with Bluetooth Premium from my VW Passat CC 2011
The unit is a Sadocom KDL 10.1 inch android 9. Specs bellow:
- PX6 processor
- 4 Gb of RAM
- 64 Gb internal memory
- DSP
The unit comes with all necessary connectors and adapters except for the ones that connect the original GPS antenna or MIC. Soon i will receive the adapter for the GPS antenna so that i can use the one from the car and not the chinese one. Hope it works as expected.
The connection of the original microphone of the car was modified into a 3.5 mm jack so as not to dismount the A pillars to mount the new chinese MIC.
After all the connections were made, the unit booted up when inserting the key but a small amount of SMOKE appeared from the headunit. This soon stoped and the unit dind dnot ecperience any problems. Please tell me if anyone had any problems of this sort.
I then proceeded testing the unit.
Pros :
- the unit boots in ~10 seconds (cold start)
- standby boot is instant
- no lag when using the unit. Eveything works blazing fast
- good display with natural colors
- better quality sound than the RNS 510 and higher volumes
- generaly good build quality
Cons :
- internal / externar microphone performance is bad. Echoing can be heard by the receiving end
- wireless antena is just a wire
- all conections are modular and do not seem high quality
- only one pre-out for subwoofer
- canbus decoder shows an ambient temperature of 6500 degrees Celsius. Sometimes at startup, the temp shown is the correct one but it does not change according to the change in temp seen on the cluster
- switching to reverse shows no camera attached (no problem here since i don't have one at the moment) but the adaptive guidelines sometimes freeze/ do not move according to the steering wheel inputs. Another canbus decoder issue perhaps?
I will return with pictures and exact model when i have the chance.
Can anybody give advice with the two issues mentioned above?
- smoke - can it be something normal from the production process?
- temperature error - is it a canbus decoder error or can it be something else? Changing the canbus decodor would solve this problem?
I have not yet confirmed receiving the order and some feedback from you would determine me to ask for the seller to send another canbus or highlight the smoke problem.

Canbus info suddenly disconnected

Hi all ,
can anyone give a hand in this problem :
I just bought an android head for peugeot 307 year (2007) canbus version , comes with Raise canbus
version PSA-RZ-15
sw: V0103
hw: VW-NC03
works fine and read car info but suddenly after changes some car models protocols, it disconnected, even if I choose the previous car model.
in System Info. gives the canbus model : (Peugeot 408.disconnected) !!!
I did a factory reset and change the canbus model many times without any success.
Now every things related to canbus is not working (Wheel buttons ,Fuel info ,Reverse Radar ,etc.)
what should I do?

i have same problem in 2022 with peguet 301 model 2015 and use hiworld can bus

i have the same problem with hiworld canbus it didnot work every time mostly disconnected

I've searched the interwebs quite a bit and its clearly related to the infotainment module and wanted to confirm it with you guys and also maybe help others with the same problem.
I've actually discussed this with an electrician before and he asked me if any faults appear because the car will not recognize the head unit as OEM, and after checking with VCDS I can confirm it.
What about your fault codes?

needed help with 8259 skyshadow android radio loop/crash

Hi,
Need help with radio loop/crash.
Problem:
when i connect the canbus decoder cord and start the car then the android crashes and a loop occurs. When unplug and reconnect everything works.
From 8888 menu canbus is choosen: BMW E46.

THANK YOU! I have just created account to write this. I was going mad trying to solve this problem, at first I thought that can bus decoder is bad.

I can't setup my can bus for my android car screen.

Android: YT9218DH_AHD_00006_V004_20190830_DSP
Android os: Android 8.1 Go
XY AUTO: 3.1 (8227L)
DDR: 2 FLASH: 32G
CPU: A7 1.3GHz x 4
MCU: 3.1 (8227L)
When i go to factory settings, Protocol settings
to setup my CAN i can't find my car name in the options.
and i don't understand what Hiworld, BNR, XBS, ..... means i don't know which i should choose.
my car is Nissan sentra 2019

I could be wrong but I think the first column is for the type of canbus decoder that came with your head unit. Yesterday I installed my head unit and the decoder is marked "Raise" (marked on the little black box). For the rest also still trying to get my canbus working. I think you need to be connected to the internet (wifi over hotspot) to configure the canbus settings...

if you don't find yours you can also try to choose other car models that are similar to yours and test if everything works fine

I checked and changed the wiring of my head set and now canbus is working. Now I hope battery won't be drained...

Was planning to do that but just rewired and gonna monitor it for some days. If there seems drain then I will measure.

It is solved, the seller send me an code to deactivate the sleep mode. Now the unit shuts off after taking out the key out and a 3 min delay.

Can someone help wire up my canbus i plugged it and found my car on the list but nothing happens idk it has some wirings hanging i don't know how to wire them can someone tell me step by step how?
