As promised, the RAW or SERVICE FIRMWARE FOR ZE550KL
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE/HARM IF YOU FLASHED ANY FIRMWARES FROM THESE LINKS/POST BELOW.
BACKUP YOUR PHONE BEFORE FLASHING ANY FIRMWARE, EVEN IF THE FIRMWARE IS FROM ASUS!!!
BACKUP SCRIPT (PARTITION DUMP UNLOCK) is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...de-unlock-bootloader-asus-unlock-app-t3405850
Changes from Android OS revisions, especially concerning encryption, efs, modems, wifi, gps could render corruption in partitions leading to phone failure. Backup always and do it often.
Note that this firmware is different from the usual firmware by Asus. It is used for servicing the phone, it restores ALL partition from factory EXCEPT for IMEI, S/NO, Mac address etc. Google account lock is ACTIVE in this firmware.
The firmware is used by Asus Flash Tool to restore your phone partitions. If by any chance, the restore is not successful using the tool, just unzip the file and flash manually (flashall_AFT.cmd)
You need this firmware if your partitions are totally corrupted (example if you cannot go into fastboot mode). Most of the time, bricked phones can be restored by flashing Asus stock recovery (recovery.img), then stock asus firmware. If that doesn't solve the bricking, then you will need the raw/service firmware.
The links are rare, hard to find, download before it is gone.

Can you restore the Imei?
I used the fastboot erase modemst1 and modemst2 command and lost my IMEI.
asus phones r crappy, no one ever shared the qcn files on the internet.
u can still recover the imei!!!! do not erase anything anymore!!! coz modemst1 modemst2 backup is stored on fsg & a few other files
backup everything now! using qpst, efs professional etc,
install stock recovery, downgrade to lowest asus stock rom, install as new.

Hello,
My Asus ze550kl m8916
Snapdragon 410 2gb/16gb model
is hardbrick
It is still in locked state
However, I have used QFIL using Test Point and managed to reach Fastboot Mode
When I flashed TWRP it always Reboot
I can flash all the firmwares files even in locked state using
Emmc RAW tool
But ai need the Working Dump flash file
Can anyone help me?
Download the EMMC Raw Tool
Boot into Download mode Q9006 mode) and dump the Firmware Only
this include
1.ASDF, SEC, sbl1, hyp, tz, aboot, adf, Asusfw, asusgpt1, 2, Asuskey, asuakey2, 3,4,5, boot, cache, config, ddr, devinfo, factory, fsc, gaps#1, keystorre, mbr-gpt-other, misc, modem, modemstr1, modrmstr2, oem, presist, persistent, recovery, splash, ssd,
You can dump all these files using emmc raw tool while in Q9006 Mode..
To be in q9006 mode just flash the wrong emmc_aboot to your phone
you'll be in q9006 mode
to get back on track install the correct emmc_aboot.mbn file again
OR
you can dump your Firmware using root
adb shell command
dd if=/dev/........ of=/sdcard
if u need help in How to dump these files to your memory card or internal storage, Reply I'll help u how to dump
Please send me the files after you're dump
Contact me on what app +918974796939 if u r willing to help me
Let's learn things together
Can anyone help me. with this?.?
Thanks a lot in advance
Just take it to service centre I think you got a flash lock on your partition (just assuming). I have a custom ROM so if you want I can send you the dump files.
Hello.
What are the test points you connected?
A friend has bricked his device by double clicking the flash_factory.bat file, hence losing his IMEI as the modemst1 and modemst2 cache's are now empty.
It is said that by flashing NON-HLOS should fix the issue, but there is no such file in the Tissot factory images.
I thought the boards of Mi 5X and Mi A1 are the same, hence flashing the NON-HLOS file from a Tiffany would avoid him from getting into QPST and manually setting his IMEI that (dirty) way.
What are your thoughts on this? Can someone with some knowledge on these two devices bring up some light regarding whether they share their modems? Or since Tiffany is 'china only' has a different modem and flashing it becomes a risk?

Maybe he will lost B20 support, and only one modem will be flashed(if the name of partition is the same. **See below), Tiffany doesn't have 2 sets of partitions.
**For example: Tissot modem partitions: modem1 and modem2
Tiffany: modem.
The installer will search the partition "modem" and can't find any cause Tissot have modem1 and modem2.
It's just an opinion...i don't really know.

The installer and/or partition name mismatching is not an issue, since the script that comes bundled with the factory image of Tissot flashes it, which on it's own references the NON-HLOS file although it's not included in the image. Still, I'd be flashing the modem1 and modem2 manually with fastboot, flashing the very same image into both of them.
All of that being said, I had no idea Tiffany wasn't an A/B device, which makes me consider this more calmly to avoid dumb bricks Thanks.
I tried a bunch of things in an attempt to root AT&T's LG K20 (the LGM255), to no avail.
After unlocking bootloader (so says in the options, I don't think it actually did), I tried fiddling with Lekensteyn's LGLAF tool and various forks of it by steadfasterX and others. Tried pushing a TWRP image I made after being able to extract boot/recovery images using the aforementioned tool. LAF did not pushing that image but was fine with deleting partitions from the phone.
I took the risk of deleting the LAF partition in order to get access to fastboot. While it did, just my luck, the lk variant of fastboot on the phone is stripped of essentially all functionally except for get-var and devices. Meaning I cannot flash anything, or modify any variables.
Have no means to restore the LAF partition (well, there is one way I know of possibly, but want to save it as a last resort cause the probability it would work is low and risks bricking completely).
Now there is an lafbak partition, but cant do anything with it.
Theres some background, but here is my real question:
If I were to accept an FOTA update from AT&T, although it would update the firmware to a new version, would it restore or possibly flash a new LAF partition so that I could go into its LAF/Factory Reset mode again?
Hello,
I am flashing the lineageos with the official instruction. The rom is installed (partition was decrypted), but I have no signal.
After a long research on the net and various instructions and tips. My two IMEIs disappeared (sim cards were then no longer recognized).
Finally I have a stock rom with Qfil installed (13s). I was then able to restore the IMEIs through the AT Port Menu via Qualcomm IMEI RepairTool. The SIM cards are recognized again but do not dial into the network. I have also a baseband version package.
In the *#*#4363#*#* menu there were all frequency bands to choose from, but I can not select one. The error message always appears ... [unsuccessful]
Maybe someone else has a tip?
If u have backup modem, you can restore via fastboot
Or u can backup modem,modemst1,modemst2 image, save in your computer,,then delete modem using fastboot command
Fastboot erase modem.img st1 and st2
Then restore modem
Fastboot flash modem modem.img
St1 and st2
Dont forget to check imei
I can solve with this

Just for my curiosity I was trying to change my device's IMEI. I used qfil to backup my qcn file. Then I rebooted to fastboot mode and ran the following command:-
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot erase fsg
For just in hope to erase the current partition and restore qcn.
But, after doing this my device isn't booting. It's just bootlooping to Recovery mode (stock).
Full firmware flash using MIFlash is even not working.
Bootloader of my POCO m3 is unlocked.
Please help me how to recover my device. OR kindly provide the three files of your POCO M3 by pulling it via adb.

Experts also avoid trying IMEI, so I don't know what you were watching.

Thankyou for the reply! I have successfully repaired by rooting---resetting the efs--- and then restoring the qcn. My device is back to life now!
After flashing my poco is doing the same thing it's booting to recovery with an corrupt nv message
can you please share more information how you fixed this.
