If you're facing issues with mobile connectivity, you can reinstall the modem files, as follows:
1. Download the factory image for your device from http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/guide-fastboot-flashing-factory-t3187750
2. Extract NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn to a folder of your choice.
3. Download and install fastboot (or place the executable in the folder where you extracted the files), if not installed.
If you're using Windows you'll need to install the needed drivers
4. In the file manager, navigate to the folder where you extracted the files.
5. Right click > (Actions) > Open terminal (or CMD) here...
6. Reboot to bootloader (hold power and volume down buttons until you can read "AP Fastboot Flash Mode")
7. Type in the following commands:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
If it fails, try running the commands with administratives privileges (for Mac and Linux use sudo fastboot instead of fastboot, for Windows right click CMD and open with admin privilege).
8. Reboot your phone (power button)
Cellular Data is still not working
Hi ,
I am new to this forum and have tried your method of flashing only the network related files on Moto G 2015 Osprey, but still the cellular data does not work properly.
I am able to browse the internet but downloads using Google Play Store is not possible using cellular data.
Have tried your method and some others suggested on youtube on the following Roms:
1. AOSCP CypherOs 7.1
2. AOSPExtended 7.0 v1.2
3. AOSPExtended 7.1.1 v2.0
4. GZ Rom Tesla
No issues are seen in the following roms:
1. Stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 (after the update few months ago)
2. Stock Marshmallow optimized rom on xda
3. Nexus Experience Rom 6.0.1 from nxroms.
Kindly suggest a method to get cellular data working for downloads too.
Thanks.

Hi Henriquefeira,
I am on roaming on all the roms which i have mentioned above. I have not contacted my carrier for any such issues. Also in the roms which are working (both in home and roaming locations), I did not change any settings. They just work out of the box. Even in the roms which have issues, basic browsing works after few reboots to the phone, but downloads from Google Play or even elsewhere just dont happen.
I have tried changing Apn , registering to the wireless carrier etc. in the settings but these changes did not work.
Also a feature which was working out of the box in the previous android versions and custom roms is broken now.
Hope we all get a solution so that 7.1.1 can be used as a daily driver...till then on NxRom 10.4.
Found a link which descibes the issue:https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/nexus/21wGieItCik
Hi all,
For any one who stumbles across this issue....it is indeed a bug in Nougat 7.0, 7.1, 7.1.1 even on the Nexus and Pixel line of phones. It is not a problem specific to any custom rom.Solution is to use alternate app stores: Appbrain, Amazon Appstore, Apkpure,
Thanks to all for their roms and answers.
I did this with the newest Lineage rom and now I face constant reboots. So be warned...
If anyone knows how to fix this, I'm open for suggestions.

I have a XT1541, completly unlocked with "modem" from Europe. My network is "Free" from France.
I'm in Canada now but only have Edge network. Can I flash modem files from another ROM or is it useless/dangerous ?
Thanks !

After flahed a custom recovery I was in trouble with H+ and 4G connections, just 3G works.
I did what you described and it works fine, but when I turn off the phone the previous problems happen again.
Any suggestion?

Try running just the second and third commands. If the problem persists, check your preferred network type under Settings or under Phone info in the testing menu (dial *#*#4636*#*# to get there).
My brother and I both have an Osprey and I unlocked both device's bootloader in order to flash some good old ROMs but he started toying with the device flashing files he found I don't know where (also don't know why) and now his phone won't connect to 4G.
I've been using RR Oreo on my XT1542 and he was on stock so I though that maybe flashing the same ROM that I'm using on his device the issue would resolve itself but to my surprise it didn't.
What can I do to fix this? The phone is connecting only to 3G networks. I've even tried changing the options using #*#*4636*#*# with no success. If I choose any other option than WCDMA the phone goes to "Emergency calls only"

No I installed it via adb and didn't faced any issue and by the way I am replying via lollipop rom

SO how is lollipop on moto E ? stable ? fast ?
The ROM is great no lags faced the apps are now working smoother but missing the multiuser settings and SD card functionality
Sent from my XT1022 using XDA Free mobile app
what do you mean with "SD card functionnality" ? SD card access is no more available ? every photo or so must be saved in internal mem ? ?
or simply app move to SD Card is impossible (already the case with 4.4.4) ?
Too bad it´s not working for me. Sideload is working until it reaches 100% after that it says Installation aborted.
Having a xtc1021, flashed India 4.4.4 Stockrom 1022 before.
Too bad.
Brother the zip verifies your device before proceeding with flashing According to me you must download the zip for XT1021 and then try installing

I am sorry if I quoted it wrong you can put media and pictures on the SD card and move app to SD card also but as with KitKat you cannot put the data of apps(obb) in the ext SD card and run the apps

Hello i have question. Does lollipop update fix the random reboot issue specially when you're pressing power button?
if you apply soak test lollipop into stock 4.4.4 you don't have any random reboot, it's work perfect to me.
I suggest you to restore stock 4.4.4 (not 4.4.2) and update to lollipop soak test.
How do i download the file. Its asking for a key? Thanks in advance.
Im trying to install via sideload adb but everytime i put my phone to restore adb the pc cant recognize my phone, but i see xt1021 question marked on device manager
Hey guys, i am on 5.0.2. Did anyone face the issue where the call function was not working in the dialer ? I mean, i tried calling numbers but it wouldn't just work. It worked after rebooting though. Just wanna make sure it wasn't a bug cause if someone else too faced this, then the soak testers should report this in their feedback. Besides of course the multiuser and the sd card functionality for hd games !
Thanks

BROTHERS,...
I THINK THE METHOD OF PUTTING THE ZIP FILE IN EXTERNAL SD CARD AND CHECK FOR UPDATE FROM THE PHONE PHONE ITSELF WILL WORK FINE FOR EVERYONE.....
THE IMPORTANT POINT MANY GUIDES MISSING IS THE FACT THAT "WE HAVE TO RENAME THE ZIP FILE IN TO "Blur_Version.22.21.32.condor_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03.zip" FROM "Blur_Version.21.12.40.condor_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03.zip" (THE ONE ORIGINALLY WE FIND ON THE DOWNLOAD)
NB: no quotes needed in name.
Try this.... i have done it successfully after many failed side loading attempts. all the best...
I was encouraged to make a separate thread for this, so I did.
Here we're going to try and port the Verizon Nougat update to all Moto Z phones.
I said I'd upload the code into GitHub to make it easier to change stuff, but that got too confusing so I just used Google Drive lol. Anyway, let's get started.
I'll start by editing the update script in the zip, and I'll need somebody to verify that it works. Just be forewarned that things might break (thus the alpha status). If things break, there are other threads with all the Marshmallow stock zip files, flash that and try again. Make sure to check those threads before you flash though, because if you break your phone and then check those threads to find your zip just to realize that they don't have your zip, then you're screwed. Please, please, please, PLEASE make a backup of your ROM. I'm here to fix problems with this ROM, not to fix your phone because you didn't backup your data.

ADB and Sideload
If you don't know how to sideload, you'll first have to have adb installed on your pc. If you're on Windows, refer to @Snoop05's post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2588979 and download the installer for adb and fastboot. If you're on a Mac, refer to @AshtonTS's post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1917237. Also, be sure to throw these awesome people some thanks
For my fellow peoples on Linux:
Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
Arch Linux: sudo pacman -S android-tools
Red Hat and others: You people are straight up savages and probably already know how to get a hold of it lol.
Open your terminal, the command prompt for Windows users, and cd to wherever the adb binary is (Linux users don't have to do this because it's already in your path, unless you installed it some way other than the package manager). Move the ota.zip to that directory. Enable USB debugging on the Moto (Settings > About Phone > Click Build Number 7 times, then Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging) and then plug the Moto into your PC. Type "adb reboot recovery" (Mac users type "./adb reboot recovery"), and then wait. (If this doesn't work, look on the Moto and see if there's an authentication dialogue) On the Moto you'll soon see the Android robot lying on it's back and a red triangle above that. The screen will read "No command". Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds and then quickly also press Volume up and then release both buttons. On mine I have to do this button pressing thingy a few times, but eventually the recovery menu will come up. When it does, use the volume buttons to go down to the "Apply update via ADB" option and press the power button to select it. Go back to the computer and type "adb sideload ota.zip" (Mac users don't forget the "./" at the front) and it'll start to sideload the zip onto the phone. After that just wait and soon it'll install Nougat. (Ofc now we know that this isn't always the case)
I imagine the intention is to flash this from stock recovery rather than TWRP? I get E:footer is wrong E:Signature verification failed Installation Aborted
Stock recovery won't mount either the internal or external storage, and using adb sideload it just says
"unable to load ota.zip"
It doesn't appear to even try to open or verify the file itself, maybe it's too large?
I tried sideloading twrp.zip, just to see if it would do Anything at all, and that file is loaded and rejected (because my bootloader is locked)
I have reteu, not verizon, but I should at least get an error message.
Maybe I just have to wait, they claim to have begun rolling out world wide, but I've been hammering that update button once an hour since monday...
Via TWRP it gets stuck as it's expecting the Google folder in META-INF>Com. I added it from the original OTA and it's throwing up Griffin product name errors. Going to try a few things.

Yes, stock recovery is the goal but if you have TWRP then you can use that. Just know that the modem files and stuff are strictly for Verizon, so I wouldn't try to force flash it until I get those replaced.

To be on the safe side, yeah I'd wait until the official OTA comes out. If you want it early tho that's cool too, just upload your current stock rom and I can play switcheroo on some necessary files.
With the limited backup capabilities of unrooted android and scarcity of fastboot rom files..
I'm just gonna sit here and click refresh on the update button. XD

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, here's the link to download it: null
Just so you know, if you try downloading it before around 13:00 EST, you won't have the full thing. My internet isn't the best, so it's gonna take a while.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Update:
Internet Crashed :/
Update 2:
I got most of the ota to upload but not all of it, but now as a wonderful Thanksgiving present I've got more drama in my life :/. I'll take a break for a day or two, hopefully Moto doesn't send out the rest of the OTAs so my attempts are for nothing.

Sorry I didn't answer, where I'm at it was around 4 AM and I was too tired to do anything, and also I've been having some issues in my life rn. But, things are better so I'll be more present. For the future though, if you ever just need a small file I just added a Google Drive link with the unzipped ota so that way you won't have to download the whole 1.5GB zip

Thanks a lot, it's been hard trying to even think of ways to port this without having any of the devices I'm trying to port it to lol. If it works, throw me a link and I'll put it in the header post and add you as a contributor.

No problem bro
Thanks
But let me tell you you can't just patch updater-script to make it working on any unlocked devices.
As I see and tested on this zip file, Motorola OTA is working with system.patch.dat which means you have to find head system.img and patch this OTA file on it, I mean all files on this zip is only patchable on "mcls24.246-36-3" system firmware
So you(we) have to patch them on device and make backup of system partition and use it to flash via fastboot or emulate this progress some where else (other rooted device or Android emulator)
So far
I got mcls24.246-36-3 firmware and flashed on my device (everything looks fine)
And I started flashing system.patch.dat and system.new.dat on it but no success
I can verify system patch (very good) but I can't patch it
It seems this is bug of the TWRP I'm going to build google stock recovery without verification check and tell you result's.
I'll upload my works maybe it's useful

Ok awesome, as for the updater-script, I didn't think that'd work but I thought maybe it could be a start. I'm still kinda new to this tbh. Thanks for the info though, it'll help me get better with this kind of stuff. I'm very skilled in Linux but Android is kinda different so it's a bit of a learning curve lol.

Installation Guide Added on OP, Please test it
Hey guys
I just thought we should have a 1-stop-guide for our amazing Moto Z Play. Generally people have to look through various threads before obtaining the real info, this thread was created so that people would find the resources easily without wasting time, looking here and there for information.. I will try to update the thread on regular basis as and when the new developments arrive...
Note: I want to thank all the devs for their efforts. None of this is my creation , i just collected & compiled all the info from various sources, credit as usual goes to original devs
PS: The thread is complete now...Just have to add the images for easy understanding...All the info posted here is latest development with correct info...There is no chance you will brick your phone by following this guide unless you do something wrong...

https://motorola-global-portal.custh...-a/action/auth
2) Enable USB debugging & OEM unlock on the phone (Go to settings -> development options (if they do not have it enabled go to settings-> about the phone and below where it says "Compilation number" tap 7 times to activate the development options).. In the developer options, select "OEM unlock" it will ask for password / PIN / pattern and once activated, we look for "Debugging via USB" and we activate it also, then proceed to turn off the phone)
3) Turn on the phone by pressing Vol down + Power button together for 5 seconds until we get a screen like this:
4) Open adb command window and type:
Code:
fastboot devices
If your device appears on the command window you can continue with the guide, if your phone is not listed, install the Moto drivers correctly and verify if adb is working or not...
5) In the same adb command window type:
Code:
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
You will see numbers displayed like this, copy the code and paste it into notepad..Now eliminate the paragraph break so that there is only one line without spaces… Copy the entire code & login into your Moto account…Now paste the code on the same Moto webpage which was given above…
The unlock code will be sent to your registered email. There will appear an email with the number similar to this:

2) In the adb command window type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
3) After executing the command, disconnect your phone & with the volume + or volume keys - we move until it says "Recovery Mode" . Press the power button to confirm the entry to the recovery.
4) Once you enter the recovery, select the right button & a menu to choose the language is displayed, it only brings Chinese and English so we will put it in English to know what to do.
5) We will see that it asks for a password, it is the same password that you put to encrypt the phone at the beginning when they set up the factory phone and always asks them to turn on the phone, it can be a password / PIN / pattern
6) Once the password has been entered, the recovery main menu will appear, we will go to "Advanced" and then "Install SU", it will ask if we want to root the phone, we accept by sliding and we wait for it to do the process. Then we give in "Reboot System" to restart and the phone will ignite with root

6) Installing Xposed Framework
Files needed:
1) [FONT="]Have TWRP installed (If not installed refer to section #3 on this thread)
2) Download latest Xposed Installer.zip (http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm/ )
3) Download latest Xposed Apk (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811)
Optional: Download latest Xposed un-installer but ARM 32 version not ARM 64 (http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/uninstaller/ )[/FONT]
Method:
1) Copy Xposed installation .zip, Xposed uninstaller (optional) and the Xposed APK to the internal memory (the TWRP does not mount the external SD so do not bother copying it to the External Memory)
2) Install the Xposed APK but DO NOT open it.
3) Enter recovery mode and open TWRP, Choose language and enter password to decrypt your device
4) Once the password is entered, the main recovery menu will appear, select "Install" and a file manager will appear, we will navigate the file down and look for the Xposed installer .zip, something like this:
5) Select the Xposed installer .zip and it will open a zip installer, slide to accept the flash of the .zip and wait for the process to finish. Then we give in "Wipe Dalvik / cache" and then to "Reboot System" to reboot and the phone will light up with Xposed already working.

Nicely work
Really nice thread. Just one thing...
Could you credit me for the modified logo.bin?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69273602&postcount=37
Can I flash logo.bin zip in twrp?
Nope, has to be unzipped and flashed in fastboot, which shouldn't make much of a difference, as it has only to be done once. No need for reflashing after switching your custom rom.

Hi, and thank you, I already had downloaded the BETA3 version from needROM.com but it seems this is updgraded

Just a question, I have to use the Flashtool to flash the firmware and after that the TWRP and Supersu options?
I've been using beta4 (and beta3 previously) for months and quite like them. Also, since the original factory rom is filled with adaware, isn't as up-to-date with Android's security patches and doesn't pass SafetyNet, you're gaining a lot and not losing anything switching or rooting for that matter.
Though I still prefer magisk over rooting since it's more secure and more than enough for adaway.

You can but you don't have to. I had a problem flashing beta4 and twrp at one go but booting the phone once with just beta4 and then powering off and flashing twrp and\or rooting afterwards solved that.
Btw, the dev is developing gesture modules for the kernel (built-in beta4) and an app to go with them: http://getbest.ru/kernel_gesture.htm I didn't find the feature useful enough to keep around but it works as advertised and, once again, magisk was enough.
Overall, the rom is an absolute must as far as I'm concerned and I wouldn't be using this phone if it wasn't available. It would have been nice if the dev could keepup with android's patches better but seeing how he's doing a better job than doogee and for free I can't really complain.
Do the camera and fingerprint work?
Hi. I wish to give my really thanks to the developer of this rom.
It solve my problems:
Stock rom R16:
sim card WIND (IT) poor 4G/LTE reception
sim card VODAFONE (IT) no 4G/LTE reception
(tested switching 1-2, various city zones)
This Rom:
both full 4G/LTE reception!!

Hello Maria and thanks for your experience.
What can you say to me about the fingerprint and camera functionality?
Do they work fine on this rom?

Can you please assist me with flashing this ROM? (either 32bit or 64bit) - I've tried using the Flash Tool guide, but with 32bit the clean install scatter file does nothing, and with 64bit the clean install scatter file comes up with error: "chip type not match!! target efuse value: 0xa4020000"
I've tried with and without battery, I have installed Android USB driver, and I've followed this guide: https://androidmtk.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
Please help!

Hi.
My phone (X5pro) hasn't fingerprint reader.
The camera seems to work in normal way.

P.S.: May be it depends by my phone, but sometimes touch is not reponsive; I have to push the power button ("stand-by") and push it again to have normal touch response.

The flash guide you linked is the right guide.
What exact model of phone you have?
Does the scatter and other files are in the same folder? (unzipped, you know).
Does the flashtool give any error message with the 32bit version?
Regards

I tried both the 32bit and 64 bit versions of this rom, it's pretty good for a beta. However I had a problem with the screen going dark while using it and once the screen inverted colours randomly. Has anyone else had this problem with this rom? I'm currently using the android 6 stock rom but would love to get 7.1.1 working perfectly.
installed with SP flash tools x5pro-7.1-x32-BETA4 from a stock kernel 6.0 (R16)
with no luck. At booting snowcatPDA logo shows for a while and continuously reboots.
Flashed from ubuntu linux 16.04:
Download Only option (should I have choosen Firmware Upgrade?)
Scatter-loading File MT6735M_Android_scatter-WIPE-CLEAN_INSTALL.txt (should I have choosen MT6735M_Android_scatter.txt?)
I had the bootloader locked in development options (had it to be open?)
I also had USB debugging ON
Any tips?

Hi.
Now I'm at home.
Tomorrow morning, when I'll be at office I'll write down steps by steps I did.
(home... office..., reverse of natural manner, because I do all my mobile hobbies at lunch pause; at home PC is used by others )
Hello, here I am.
The follows are the steps, more or less, that I did.
(maybe you already did some of these)
1-Start from official R16 ROM
2- Developer option
#a. Enable USB debug#b. Enable OEM unlock
3- Security: allow unknown origin installation
4- Unlock bootloader
#a. Connect in fastboot, from ADB command mode:type: adb reboot-bootloader ___ (Wait 1-3 second)type: fastboot devices ___ (verify device is detected)#b. verify bootloader unlock statustype: fastboot getvar all ___ and you get= warranty: yes= unlocked: no#c. unlock bootloadertype: fastboot oem unlock ___ and you get-> start unlock flow---> on screen appear:vol UP=Yes; void warranty, clear ALL datavol DWN=no; no unlockPress Vol UP#d. verify bootloader unlock statustype: fastboot getvar all ___ and you get= warranty: no= unlocked: yes#e. May be phone restart
5- shut down phone ___ AND ___ get out battery
6- Flash phone with
MT6735M_Android_scatter-WIPE-CLEAN_INSTALL.txtas per normal way (You know this , after some trying...)
7- WITHOUT starting phone, ___ Flash TWRP with
MT6735M_TWRPx32_scatter.txt (or the 64, according to the ROM you flashed)
9- Put battery in ___ AND___ start in TWRP recovery
#a. hold Vol Up, press ON button until appear a micro menu, release buttons#b. choose recovery with Vol Up and confirm with Vol Down
10- in recovery, choose wipe, and on bottom of the screen slide for factory reset
11- on TWRP main, choose reboot, power off
12- get out battery for some seconds
13- get in battery and start up (It can take a lot, may be leave the phone connected to main)
This is what I did (if I remember all the single steps...)
Try and report to us.
M.A.
Nope!, in step 9 when trying to start in TWRP recovery I get a continuous bootloop showing SnowcatPDA logo

Hummmm....
It seems won't go in recovery mode, I think.
Try this:
1- flash entire stock ROM
(may be take this ===http://www.doogee.cc/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=29=== just in case)
2- start phone normal, up to home screen (so the phone is as just brougt)
3- power off and try to enter stock Recovery
If it works (and your bootloader is unloked) then try this
Connect phone to PC in fastboot
and enter
fastboot devices (I do this each time, just in case PC don't detect phone)
fastboot boot recovery.img
where recovery.img is your TWRP
The phone should start in TWRP recovery
The fastboot boot recovery.img command
send recovery (kernel?) image to temp phone folder/ram
and boot from that.
It unaffect normal rom/recovery.
By this step, we check If your phone accept this TWRP and sort out some possible troubles.
M.A.
when doing 'fastboot boot TWRP-3.1.1-X5PROx32.img' I get:
USB transferring...
USB transmission OK
and doesn't reboot into recovery but it boots normally
since I'm doing this from stock kernel R16 I wonder whether it's 32 or 64 bits
However I've found recovery-twrp-3.2.0-git-20171204.img that boots!. But I don't have scatter file, only .img! This recovery is from Lineage 14.1, but since this custom ROM installs from TWRP there is no need of scatter file
I've found another TWRP that boots with fastboot boot img: the TWRP recovery for 6.0 in needrom. This one has a scatter file

Hi.
You have to select the file direct from the Needrom site.
www.needrom.com
(up)categories-doogee
on the right, click: Serial X
again, on the right, click: X5pro
and select the TWRP you desire.
(second line, second from left)
(click on "TWRP DG X5Pro (977 dls)")
Regards
M.A.
P.S.: even the link is
https://www.needrom.com/server/download.php?name=/2016/12/TWRP_DG_X5Pro.rar
you have to download from the site.
I'll try all this at the weekend, but my two cents are that it won't work. At first attempt I flashed BETA4 with MT6735M_Android_scatter-WIPE-CLEAN_INSTALL.txt (so no need to enter recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik) with a bootloop result.
My guess is that there are different ROM versions of X5 pro, and newest are incompatible with SnowcatPDA 7.1.1 firmware. Will see in a few days...
As I was suspecting I get a bootloop after logo. Now the question is: Is there a stable custom ROM (7.1 or newer) that I could use daily instead of MM 6.0 (R16) stock ROM?

just try it on the official website. you will see then why:
only the international model will be accepted but it doesn't hurt to try it anyways as sometimes devices are frankensteins and so even when it looks like a h815tr it is possible that this is not true (motherboard changed).

Hi, I am really confused by this part of your guide:
###Make sure you have latest LG LG4 official updates installed
Bootloader and modem must be V20A
Just want to make sure you don't mean V29A?
I currently have V20g-EUR--XX, Anti-Rollback value is 0.
Do I need to go to first to V29A as per

or to the (really outdated) V20A as per

Hi, I forgot to write Bootloader must be >= 20A. So you can go ahead and share your experience with me.
I'll update tuto.
Thx
Thank you for the prompt reply and for your careful guide!
What I did (I had already an officially unlocked LG G4 H815 International).
First of course back up my current ROM with TWRP.
Boot to recovery (TWRP), wipe everything.
Update to V29A by installing LG-H815_Official_v29A.zip, reboot
Boot, do the minimal setup, then enable developer mode and USB debugging
Copy (not move!) twrp-3.2.3-0-g4.img from your package to SDcard, then flash TWRP again from PC using adb:
adb reboot booloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-0-g4.img
(the above failed initially with with the message FAILED (command write failed (Invalid argument), so I did fastboot reboot-bootloader and repeated the flashing procedure)
From there on followed your guide exactly (I used ator_thepiguy_lineage-14.1-20190408-UNOFFICIAL-h815.zip)
Afterwards installed Magisk Manager 7.1.2 (Magiskmanager dot com) and flashed Magisk 19.1 using TWRP.
Rebooted, downloaded and activated the VIPER4Android module.
Everything works fine, I'm now a happy Lineage OS user!
Updated tutorial for Android 8.1 or 9.
Updated pack in consequence.
Did T-Mobile Device Unlock on my H811 so I was able to skip the LG website part, did the rest of it using adb.exe push bringing files over to /external_sd/, got it running twrp-3.3.1 and Lineage 15.1, not bad. Thanks for your post!
First of all, thank you for this post, everything worked like a charm besides a little problem, there's no connection when enabling mobile data. Wi-fi is fine. Is there anyone who ran into a similar problem after the upgrade? Thanks.
