It appears that I have tripped knox trying different modems. My baseband is now stuck and I am unable to update it even with ODIN and original firmware. It will not overwrite the baseband version. Is this normal behavior? I have an N900W8.
Did you try flashing a complete a stock ROM from sammobile.com in Odin?
Personally, tripping knox has never been a problem with any Samsung phone I have owned and used.

Hey guys,
I have android 4.2.2 with knox bootloader on my gt-i9505. I want to upgrade it to android 4.3 but with a different csc. Is it possible to do so without triggering the knox warranty bit? I suppose it should be, as it is a newer bootloader, but the guys from sammy said, that branded firmwares have different bootloaders... Any ideas?
now I have TMH based rom, with MH7 pda and I want the XEH csc based firmware, which is MJ7

Even if you flash a KNOX-enabled firmware via odin (e.g. the latest fw) knox will be set to 0x1
WHY?
so it means that if for example i have the latest firmware in israel (NH4) and i want to reflash it, it would trip KNOX 0x1?

Hey guys!
It's been a long time since I've used a Samsung device.
I can't remember if I can recall correctly but if I flash an official firmware from sammobile.com will it trip any 'warranty' detectors like Knox? Even If for example I have the Telstra Australia firmware and I flash a UK firmware would that be ok?
I know custom packages that are flashed void the status.
Thanks for clarifying!
You're correct, flashing official firmware with Odin will not trip knoxs flag. Have a nice weekend
Is it possible to switch the CSC of a phone without tripping knox? My S7 is from spain, and I need to switch to norwegian csc (NEE). Can I simply just flash the norwegian firmware with Odin, or is it more complicated than that?
yes, it is possible to switch the csc of a phone without tripping knox.
As long it is an official stock firmware, you will have no problems.
Only if you play around with the bootloader, you risk tripping knox.
