Even if you flash a KNOX-enabled firmware via odin (e.g. the latest fw) knox will be set to 0x1
WHY?
so it means that if for example i have the latest firmware in israel (NH4) and i want to reflash it, it would trip KNOX 0x1?

Hey guys!
It's been a long time since I've used a Samsung device.
I can't remember if I can recall correctly but if I flash an official firmware from sammobile.com will it trip any 'warranty' detectors like Knox? Even If for example I have the Telstra Australia firmware and I flash a UK firmware would that be ok?
I know custom packages that are flashed void the status.
Thanks for clarifying!
You're correct, flashing official firmware with Odin will not trip knoxs flag. Have a nice weekend
Hi
Denmark did not get the latest update yet that came out a week ago or so. Can I download it from sammobile and flash it through Odin without tripping Knox? Also, is there anything worthwhile in the new update?
Thanks in advance
Golden rule.. (and please search next time!)
NO ORIGINAL FIRMWARE WILL EVER TRIPP KNOX WITH ODIN!
Hi everyone,
I wanted just to ask will knox be tripped (will i loose my warranty) if i flash (odin) an official stock firmware? I am asking because i would maybe update my phone, and if i wait until an update is available for my carrier than i can get old waiting... Thank you in advance.
No flashing stock firmware will not trip knox.
All stock official firmware do not trip knox. You can flash as much as you want. Just be sure to choose the right firmware for you model.
Is it possible to switch the CSC of a phone without tripping knox? My S7 is from spain, and I need to switch to norwegian csc (NEE). Can I simply just flash the norwegian firmware with Odin, or is it more complicated than that?
yes, it is possible to switch the csc of a phone without tripping knox.
As long it is an official stock firmware, you will have no problems.
Only if you play around with the bootloader, you risk tripping knox.
