Huawei P9 lite VNS-L21 can't load stock rom and all standard apps are missing.

My question is this....
How do I revert back to a stock standard P9 lite? I tried to root my Phone (My own stupidity) and now my phone has all the standard apps missing.
I've tried flashing through twrp and sd card. nothing works. I've rooted the phone eventually, but I have no way of reverting back to stock standard.
I've even tried rollback, but the phone doesn't want to install the rom.
Can somebody please help me....

I realised that the phone was bought in Dubai. I flashed the first flash file and it updated.... (HUAWEI P9 Lite Rollback Package 8VNS-L212C from EMUI5.02BAndroid7.0 rollback to EMUI4.1BAndroid 6.0C C185B300C Middle EastAfricaC 05014GRY.zip)
I'm waiting for the second package to finish downloading, but willl tell you if it works.
I have been flashing the wrong firmwares this whole time and have been struggling since saturday morning.

P.S. They should tell you that you need area specific firmware.
Update: I finally got the phone rolled back to Marshmallow and it updated back to nougat from there.
The only thing I did wrong that I can see is that I didn't have the knowledge. If I knew from the start that it had to be area specific, then I would have been done on Saturday instead of yesterday.

P9 Lite Offical Stock ROM

Hello. I want to ask, if there is anyone, that has or knows where to get official UPDATE.app for Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L21, so I can completely reinstall my phone to stock.
I would prefer something around B390 or B380 ROM, because I have issue with early ones, that updates android to Test-Keys....

I used this site to download the rom and used this extractor. It worked for me with no problems.

Hi there, you can try an app from playstore called frimware finder .. you can get any update you want from there. And it doesnt require root. I use that to get the newest updates.. It works for any huawei devices.

Hello, i'm having issues with my p9 lite vns-L21 it in boot loop and i don't know which software to download and flash. I am from EU, and factory reset doesn't help, the phone enters in a "update" kind of state where it tries to connect to wifi and download something, but the download fails because "packets failed to download" or smth similar

You just need to find the stock rom for your device and force update it by copying it on your phone as 'dload' folder and pressing pwr button and volume up and down buttons all at the same time

trying get back on stock huawei p10 plus

Hi guys! Yesturday was try to get back on stock. First was HWOTA method. Failed on step where is oeminfo. Was do all how is in instructions, but nothing. Second was multitools. 8. Flash boot img. after going sistem img. but proces going about 4 hours and I see shown the device isn't connect. After that reading many instructions about dload method. Dowloaded service rom. Just unpacked in sd card. Checked files all ok. But when try to force upgrade his shows up update package don't found try dowload again. Now running on fRomFuture b201. Model name is onyx D189. Emui3.1 android 5.1. How I remember when was stock rom was VKY-L09. And yes after multi tools computer readed my phone like huawei p10. Can somebudy explain where to touch to get all in right places? !

Brick, Elite Rom, stock, and brick again...

Hy everyone, i have an VNS-L23 Argentina Huawei, about a week ago i installed the Elite Rom with no problem, but it had some 4g problems, so yesterday i wanted to back to stock, and there all begin, i follow the steps to back to stock but it bricked i dont know why. i solved it with dload mode and a stock 6.0 rom global for latinoamerica (VNS-L23C605B120). In that rom i cant update to nougat and fingerprint doesnt work.
I googled and i found a ´´p9 lite B150 Nougat Stock Firmware VNS-l23 Argentina Version Personal´´(VNS-L23C110B150) and i tried to install it, now i have a black screen always i turn on and all the update.app i tried dont work, do the error ´´incompatibility with current version please download the correct update package´´. Bootloader unlocked but frp locked and i cant do anything in flashboot because of that. Also i lost TWRP. Can a technic solve this?

That's the reason you bricked It...

that's not a good situation...

Hi, thx for answer i tried everything and nothing, so today i will take the phone to assistance, that i dont know what firware or update should i install because VNS-L23C605B120 full ota dont work anymore because compatibility, and the thing can i install is the same update file of 222mb of VNS-L23C110B150, if i install the full ota of this device, it will at least install and boot?

Hello,
try this before u bring phone to assistance..
Check if TWRP work for you, and if you donot have then install one for your version firmware then put in SD the files in links...
Reboot recovery and flash oeminfo.zip.
When finished turn off the phone and reboot with vol up+vol down+power buttons until flash starts...
When finished reboot to e-recovery (vol up+power button) and make a factory reset.. That' all...

Hi!, I have the same problem with the same version. I tried to flash the version VNS-L23C605B120 through dload on sdcard, but it said the same "incompatible with de current version" when it arrive to 5%. I can't enter on fastboot mode too, so i don't know what is going on. Could you give some trick to try?.

Hey i dont know if i can help,
explain the problem as better as you can.

Yeeeeah, if you ask me Elite rom is simply bad. Yes, it is fast and etc, but if i have to pay for some features then that is a BIG NO.
Why you want to flash Elite rom though? Half of the mods barely work and it is no different from the stock EMUI.

As I have already written in other posts I do not have anymore the P9 lite as I sold it.
Soon I will not even have the P10 lite anymore and I will not attend often this thread ...

Are you 100% sure that the android version was NOUGAT when you tried to root the device?
In which region of the world do you live? (serves for the regional version of the firmware),
but I think you could also use other versions (by rebranding) ...
Single or dual sim?
Can you access the system?
Boots in TWRP?
Does fastboot / bootloader mode work?
Dear answer these questions and "maybe" with a few days
we can bring it back to life .... I said maybe ...
