hello guys, is there anyone else experiencing home button unresponsiveness?
like sometimes when i tap the home button it just won't return me to the home screen.
it does not happen all the time, most of the time it works as it should, but at times no matter how many times i tap it, it just wont respond /wont return me to the home screen :l
anyone else experiencing this ?
Note: i am using Flash kernel with the rom i use currently, Resurrection Remix Nougat + Flash kernel.
it happens really with every Nougat Custom Rom i have tried.

Hello, I'm currently running an older version of android, namely the NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA_V2.5 and I've recently encountered some very serious problems.
I don't really know why, but my system crashes/reboots whenever I press a navigation key(back, home or menu on softkey, any of the buttons for hardkey) and I really have no idea what is causing it. I've tried a lot of things and I really don't know what to do.
When I press any of those keys it hangs for a while then skips straight to OS booting(not MAGLDR bootloader, the animated loading screen of the OS), then when it loads it will say a sim was just inserted and I'll need to reboot the system, after I reboot it works fine until I press a softkey.
Naturally, you can't use a phone for 5 seconds without pressing any of the keys, especially the back and home button. So I really need help regarding what I can do to fix this ASAP. Any answers will be GREATLY appreciated, thanks in advance.
Honestly I'd say just try another ROM, but first it could be as simple as dirty flashing your existing ROM over itself.
I've been using this rom since beta 1.9 and once in a while I had this problem. After the screen is going off (either locking or screen timeout) i cant wake up the phone with power button or home button. It seems like the backlight works but I dont see anythig and the only way to fix it is to keep the power button for about 5 sec so the phone reboots.Since I flashed RC1 and now RC2 (tried both dirty and clean flash) this problem happens more often..anyone else has the same bug? Any help how to fix it?
Hi guys, I'm experiencing an annoying problem with my N9005. When I press the home key (the central one), even if I press it really quickly, it opens the multitasking menu. I don't know if it's something rom/kernel related. I'm running the latest NG2 stock rom w/ AEL Kernel v6.1 (row + ondemand). Any advice to solve this annoying behavior?

I performed a clean flash of N900W8VLU2DOD1 through Odin (pulled battery, booted straight into Download mode).
The menu softkey works, but seems to register as hitting/long pressing the menu button, so S Finder opens.
The Back button does not respond to touch, but will light up when the Menu button is pressed.
All of my softkeys are working just fine when I am running a custom Touchwiz ROM, or Temasek's CM12.1...
Does anybody know how to fix this?!

I own a Yu Yureka and i rooted it a couple of months ago and successfully rooted it and installed a custom ROM(lineage OS) after this the device works good but one morning when i pressed the power button to wake up the device it does nothing so i removed the battery and tried to reboot it again and it booted properly and works normally but when lock the phone (by pressing power button or leave its screen to dim out) it goes blank again and doesn't respond i tried it 100 of times and same problem occur.
Is this is a hardware defect

Then flash twrp 3.2.3
And clean flash custom ROM
