Dear friends,
I went back from the lastest version of firmware (.134) to previous firmware, however I don't know how to turn off this irritating OTA update checks and messages to postpone it.
It is turned off in the update settings (I mean autoupdate is off and wi-fi option is off).
Does somebody can help in this, please?
Thanks in advance!
PS. I changed this because awfull battery life (about 20 hours comparing to ~90 hours on old firmware).

Finally I found it. It is system update service. I just cleared its data using Titanum Backup and freeze this service and voila! No other irritating messages regarding new version of firmware!
But this is only possible if you have a root ;-(

Yes, That's right. But root on Yotaphone is simply and very usefull (e.g. to install AdAway). So, it's worth to have it installed.

Hello! Today I received a update for my sgs3.. I have the unbranded version from Norway! I pressed ok, update now, but then the phone just rebooted into CWM and the signature fault stopped it all. Has anyone else received this update? And does anyone know what it does/how to install it on a rooted device?
Thanx

Try Kies. AFAIK OTA update doesn't work on a rooted phone, but Kies should...
Ok thanx for the info.. But do you know what it will update? I've manually hacked my framework to allow more auto brightness + I've also boosted my volume.. Hopefully it won't screw up my edits..

Hello
Yesterday my moto x stock had an icon that told me that a new update was available, I tried to download it but it didn't allow me because I wasn't connected to the WiFi, so, I arrive home , connect the moto x to the WiFi network and go to settings - about phone - updates , it searches for a little bit and bam, it says that I need to be connected to a data network before I can download the update, but I'm connected! I don't know what to do... Please help
Thanks, beforehand

I believe that is just erroneous error checking. I get that sometimes, and "Checking for update is not available at this time. Please try again later" others.

Hi. I don't know why, but I connected my Phone this morning for first time on the Motorola Connect..... since, the System Updates is working !! (but no new Updates :S )

Hi everyone,
Since my GT-I9505 got the Lollipop update a few months ago, turning on the wifi is taking around 50 seconds. Connection works normally but turning on the device itself is a really slow process.
I was hoping that the latest OTA update would fix this little issue but nothing changed.
I did some research but couldn't find anything to solve it, even though I found some people who's got the same problem.
Can anyone help me?
I'm running stock rom, version I9505VJUHOF2.
Thanks in advance!

Didn't work for me. It was the first thing I tried.
Unlimited downloads now available for B213. It was restricted to first 2000 at one point. Just go to HiCare and then press update. Then follow directions. 751mb. Mostly security related update. Improves google app security. The only thing different I noticed in re user interface is that, when in recents page, the delete all running apps button no longer flickers when transitioning. A slight improvement as it was a little annoying to see the flicker. Maybe just my device...

Sorry it is not quite working out right for you. When I first got phone I downloaded the GMS app (from hiApp I believe) One thing I did notice, that I did not mention, is that Playstore crashed the first time I opened it after this update but then I tried it again and it worked fine. I have never had to reinstall google apps with any updates. I'm still not rooted which is unusual for me. I've decided to more or less ride out this device and not root unless, Xposed for Nougat comes out. I will probably part with it once the Note 8 comes out.

I am done follow link for fast update firmware.
You should not fear done flash update package and rebrand , if you follow steps update should be done.
After update successfully, device might be locked again.
I am try to rebrand from C636 to C432 or C432 to AL00 and C567 ,it guide that work for me.
Mate 9 Pro just updated OTA to AL00C00B213 (741MB). Play store, Gmail, contacts & sync work fine afterwards. I only ran GMSinstaller once when I first got the phone. I expected to have to rerun and reinstall google stuff after each update but happily that hasn't been the case for me.
It's always applied Quick Update so maybe that's why?
I have not deleted HiCare & other Huawei apps & never registered a Huawei ID.
is it recommended registering HuaweiID?

dont think is needed or recommended but there is some options there that may be useful for end users, in my case I had always to reinstall and rerun GMS app probably because I always do the full install 1.5+ gb
battery consumption
Anybody noticing a greater power consumption from this latest update I no longer get the 2 day of moderate use out of a fully charged phone need to do it 24 hours now? hope they develop a fix quickly even sticking it in ultra battery mode seems to drain quicker than it did before.
Also when I check to see battery consumption, WLAN always seems to be on even when I'm not using it as their is always a blue line underneath?

Thanks, for the reply, it has actually gone back to normal now after a few full charges never turn my phone off though it's always on, updated all my apps too.
After the recent update MIUI Global 11.0.1.0(QFGMIXM), my phone charge duration extended. It takes almost 5-15 minutes to gain 1%. Any idea for the fix? I have wanted to revert the update but looking up the internet it requires root but my phone's not and will not to. I have also tried "troubleshoot" with the built-in Security app on this phone and also restarted the phone, still no benefit. I am annoyed with this, hoping for quick response for the fix. If you are looking for extra details and specs here it is:
Android Version: 10 QKQ1.190910.002
Android security patch level: 2020-07-05
RAM: 4.00 GB
ROM: 64.00 GB
Thank you!
this is the worst update i ever seen in this device

i think it is better to go back to the previous update

I have no idea if there is something like that. unfortunately I've erased the previous zip files I had and the only one in my desktop at the moment is the one before the android 10 update wich is the V11.0.8.0.
I can provide it to you if you want.
Yes your data will be erased so make sure you have a backup.
