If it has the same probs as the original MM, high 5ghz wifi channels won't work in U. S.. From what I hear, there are no noticeable performance changes anyway. Why not wait till OTA?

yup.
Did anyone able to root this version of ROM?? I tried the methods from several web sites without success. My tablet stuck at the boot screen.
Thank you in advance.
Update: I am able to root using this link

Does anyone know if its possible to use the engboot root method on the new nougat firmware? I have a few things I'd like to try that require root
The engboot used to root is only for marshmallow and will not work with nougat.

How do you know this is not actual update? It maybe if At&t release this one. Still It is AT&T Samsung Edge S7 Nougat firmware and I have this one on my phone and in recovery saying official.

No you don't know this. I find MM update for Note 4 and we wore thinking that is beta but later same month AT&T release exactly same build. I'm not sure if this is not a case, since Note 5 and Note 4 get security update already for December and S7 Edge last security update we have is for November. There is no new build of MM with security update for December on servers. Next update i can find for S7 Edge is Nougat 7.0 with January security update. Maybe this is just how i logically think, but maybe not. I don't know if this is beta anthill we get another build of Nougat.

You could try finding a way to root it then. I doubt many would put in much effort there though. Once the actual release is out it would make more sense, since we don't know if this release will be a final build.

Call log seems to be smother. The arrows indicating data mobile transfer are now longer. I don't know yet if Bluetooth connectivity works now, I don't have any device to try on. Still that bug when you turn off the airplane mode, the Bluetooth goes on.
GPS got problems too.. with both .376 and .378 .. Jumps in and out on Wigle :/

I'll try it on the UB z5 later so, I wouldn't try it on the LB z5 yet, as I can't do anything with the LB, but not too push on unlocking it after the other z5 lost all cellular signal after the unlock, it mightn't have anything to do it it but it does hold you back to unlock another one
By the way, I wasn't able to pair my z5 with any Bluetooth device on .376 for audio purposes. Now, on .378 it works perfectly.

Also two new 7.0 April images loaded. NBD92F and NBD92G. Anyone know the difference in these two?

I know how to flash these. But if we are using a custom rom and kernel should we wait until they are on the April patch level before doing so?

Nah, radio & b/l aren't tied to the rom, and both are backward compatible.

Most likely that 7.0 was the last version to fully support 32 bit devices. Yes 7.1.1 works but it starts moving the code base to a 64 bit base which as seen causes issues for us on 32 bit devices.
works great, no bt or speakerphone issues for me
My phone has always been stock and never rooted. Since yesterday that I updated to the 7.1.1 April, I have not seen any lag or throttle that my nexus 6 had on all Nougat roms (7.0 Nov and 7.1.1Jan, Feb or Mar). Finally!!
Cool! Will probably flash it tonight! Thanks for the heads up!
Did it yesterday in Am. All good so far
Never mind

Because none of the US carriers have rolled 7.1 to phones on their systems.

Could be, but the nexus player, while it is a 64bit chip, is running 32bit flavor of android. And has the O dev preview.
T-moblie just pushed NBD92G to my phone (Android 7.0).
For some reason, I no longer recieve OTAs. I clean flashed the Feb 7.1.1 and haven't received an update ever since.
i got another monthly upadte but not oreo..
so, the way out is.. waiting with patience?!
My guess is they're going to directly update to 8.1 and skip 8.0 as it's less buggy. It wouldn't have taken this long?

Appeared in FF. Need wait 2-3 weeks when Huawei will approve it to all.

Always use full-ota update (around 2gb). And there's no update with April Security patch yet. The one with March security patch hasn't rolled out officially too.
The April patch is on FF but neither that or march are approved yet
There also a newer build, b368.
And I don't think it's approved yet.

Received via OTA last Monday (4/16) with my rebranded mate 9. Worked like a charm.
Updated to MHA-L29C636B368 using HWOTA8 without issue.
I think there are some optimizations included in B366.[Optimization] not like in B368 [Security]
B368 is officially out.
Also, there is b371 on firmware finder, which has face unlock feature.

Actually, thats what i said. 368 is already out.
The one that I mention on FF is b371, which has face unlock feature. So you don't need Magisk Module anymore to use face unlock feature.
But, still gonna have to wait until it approved or release via ota.
Btw, mine got 2 patch which explained the big size as i still on b362. Too busy to update.
