UDC Start thing on my Download mode - Galaxy Grand 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Whenever I trigger and launch Download mode. The UI looks like a terminal but im being curious about the end of the line.
"UDC Start"
and also when I search it on Google it says "master reset" "resetting your device" and other things related to resetting. Any further explanation with that?
PS: I'm using Grand 2 DUOS, 4.4.2 KK so if you have any fix related to flashing ROMS then try giving out ROMS that have compability with my phone information.

I am Complete New in Android Root etc... , I was a iPhone Jailbreaker which everything was mega easy with just some clicks. Now I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 "SH9005" on "Lollipop 5.0" Version.
I have Rooted it and using "Freedom" everything works fine and I thought that is everything what about "Rooting" is but I found out Yesterday that there are more Awesome things I can do with "Root" But I dont know how, I have watched many Videos but non of them works or I am Stupid to Understand it xD so I Joined this Awesome Community to look for Help, I am Sure someone know everything about it
I Need you guys Help for.
°How to Install "xposed framework"
°How to Install "Custom Recovery"
I have tryed to Install a Custom Recovery, but everytime I wanna go to Recovery Mode it shows me the Downloading Mode
My best advice for you is to Google "How to root Galaxy Note 3" and the same for "installing exposed" and "custom recovery" and read, read and then read some more. The info is there. Do your research or risk messing up your note 3.
Not trying to be difficult but you really need to do some research.
I have done many research but didnt found anything which is helpfull.
My Note 3 is Rooted (Lollipop 5.0) but the Custum recovery and the other I cant figuer
Out how to Install that, that wjy I am asking if anyone got a Idee
That's odd, when I Google how to install "custom recovery galaxy note 3" I get all kinds of info.
If you search Custom Recovery for Note 3 on Google, there will be lots of info you can find there.
For example, for the TWRP Recovery, there is a installation guide in the official website.
I am also a newbie in the Android World but I have try hard to Google first before asking questions.
Hope this helps.
Look at Youtube videos for how to flash custom recovery or eventually rom flashing etc. (ones with lots of likes). They are alot more visual and easy to follow. Sometimes some of the threads in XDA have confusing language.

How are you trying to start recovery? there are two key combinations for download mode and recovery mode, pwr + vol up + home is recovery mode, and pwr + vol down + home is download mode if I remember right. Give a try to both combinations and I hope it works. If your note 3 doesn't boot properly, you should try to repair it, first with kies and, if that doesn't work, flashing a new rom.
Probably you've flashed wrong file. Find the 1 with hlte 4.4. The latest is 2.8.7.0.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A(10.1 2019) SM-T510 soft-brick

Hey guys,
im sorry if the topic doesnt fit here. I am new and not a techi. My Son just tried to flash some custom ROM on our Samsung Tab A and somehow bricked it. It is not possible for me to get into Recovery or Download Mode i have already tried all Button-Combinations. It just shows an error saying "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I have already tried with draining the Baterry empty (described in forum thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1478361) and plug it in to get the Charging symbol. But it doesnt happen. It just shows only the Error..
So i really dont have any more ideas how to get into recovery/download mode.. Is there anything i didnt tried??
It seems like the download-mode is not available. Is there a way to "install" a new one??
edit: it seems like this IS the download-mode.. anyways i think i just need the stock firmware for this model T510NZKDDBT. I cant find it via duckduck/google..
Maybe someone can help me with it?
Thank you
nevermind!! i've figured it out. Flashed new bootloader via Odin. Now its working again

I know I'm a year late, and you've either figured this out or moved on, but maybe I can clear this up for anyone else in the same situation.
I stuffed up and got the same message - "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
That error message screen is basically the download screen. Windows (and the Smart Switch software) won't connect to the tablet while that screen is displayed, but Odin will.
You can bring up Odin and re-flash the stock software (or whatever you need) while that message is displayed. If you still have trouble, holding power and down-volume will re-initialise the download screen, though it will still display the same "emergency recovery function" error message.
I hope that's enough of a description to get people out of trouble!

[Help] Galaxy Tab A SM-T580 displaying error

Hey guys! Greetings from Spain
I've a Tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab A SM-T580 and it displays the following error each time I power on: "An error has ocurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.".
I can not go to any menu or somewhere else and I've seen it's a common troubleshoot when root or flash custom ROMs, but I've never done anything like that.
I've already tried the following things:
Connect it with Smart Switch, but the software says my model is not supported. As I've seen in some guides with this troubleshooting, I've tried to test with an older SmartSwitch release or try some options with "More" button, like reinstall device drivers or use Emergency recovery software tool, but device was not displayed on the list and any of these options have worked.
Connect it with Samsung Kies, but device is on "Connecting" status everytime and nothing else happens.
Try to reinstall an official ROM with Odin, however, is not possible to put it in Download Mode as when I press Home + Power + Vol Down it reboots displaying again the same error.
Contact with Samsung support, but they just asked me to follow stupid steps for newbies and conclude telling me I should go to an official technical service and pay as is not under warantee anymore.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can suggest is to unplug it while showing the error screen, and let the battery run down completely. Then plug in a charger while holding the three buttons.

Pilot error.
You're not holding the 3 buttons for long enough. Keep held down until download mode appears.
Hi,
I have this problem with this same tablet. I've spent several days trying every option on xda.
The one solution that seem to work for some people is referenced in this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79232815&postcount=40
I've tried to do this as well but odin fails while trying to flash system.img. Hopefully it works for you.
(somewhere in that same thread it said to get the "cellular south" firmware from sammobile and try to flash that as it is supposed to not have the FRP-lock feature which (among other things) blocks flashing from odin.)
After much grief with this tablet I think the best use case for it is to recycle it for parts, to use it as a paper weight or to throw it really hard into the head of the CEO of Samsung.

[FIX] SM-N910F stuck in ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)

Hi everyone, sorry if I am doing this wrong, this is my first post, just thought someone might want to know how I fixed this problem. For some context I am an absolute noob when it comes to all this, and decided I should try flash a custom rom (probably not my brightest thought). When trying to install TWRP, somehow ended up stuck in ODIN MODE, all the ways I found online to exit weren't working (holding down combinations of power buttons, volume buttons and home buttons).
I don't have photos unfortunately but the screen looked like this at the top,
COULD NOT DO NORMAL BOOT
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
The way I fixed it was by using the legend @Chainfire SM-N910F root method on the phone, as it is already in download mode (Odin mode). Here is the link to the thread for rooting
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428
I am no expert but I think the rooting method installs stock recovery as part of its process, therefore solving my problem.
One thing I will mention however, as part of the process of rooting, "USB debugging" is enabled in developer settings. It just happened that I already had it enabled when my phone got stuck in ODIN MODE, but if your phone did not already have "USB debugging" enabled then I am not sure what will happen. Maybe look into that before you do anything.
After I had done all of this, phone started up fine, functions perfectly, and I am still using it to this day. Please note that this method will root your phone if that is a problem for you.
I hope this helps someone out there, thank you once again @Chainfire

Cannot flash with an official ROM

I was offered a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge a few months ago and I discovered over time that applications installed themselves on my phone and performed operations in the background and my ins such as activate the microphone , play music or send sms. I tried several factory values reset but nothing changes, each time I have the internet connection activated they reinstall completely. This has the effect of heating my phone and reducing the life of the battery.
So I decided to flash my phone with an Official ROM that I did on SamMobile But when I launched the flash with Odin and my phone in download mode the operation failed!
I haven't been able to solve this problem for months already that's why I come here to ask for your help.
when the flash fails, my phone displays the error "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)
I would like to make some clarifications:
- my phone is an SM-G925F (This is what is written behind it is also what is displayed in the settings)
- In download mode I rather see Product: name SM-G925L
- in the developer option, I don't find the "Unlock OEM" button
- When I click on "Software update" in my phone, nothing happens
- I don't know if it's important to specify it but I live in Cameroon
I need help please!
Cordially!!!
