Is there a way to update the default player or configure to show a mp3 images?
Sorry for my english!
Thanks you!

Took some time to initiate the tags.
The more files, folders etc you got on your card or stick...
Player shows covers, but the widget shows only small covers.

You have any idea?
If i install a poweramp player, this show images.
Thanks you so much!
Maybe the cover images are to big.
Set max 250x250 Pixel with 72dpi in one file and test it.
For me, the music app shows all covers, the widget only few of them.

Hello makes2068,
My Music Files have images like this:
And in Music Player, dont show images.
What Version of Music have you? and i dont found a configuration menu in Music Player.
If you see in this image:
The name of song says .mp3, then dont read a tag, only a name of file?
Thanks and regards!
Music Player have only two options, show lyrics or show equalizer, nothing more.
Thanks you!
Lyrics? No, only the tag information.
Mine looks different. Don't know why. Tags are shown, but takes some time to load.

Hey All:
Thought I would cross post here since this works fine with our devices but is on the Wizard forum. I have a 6800 and was looking for a good skin to replace the WMP default - but liked the look of the HTC Audio Manager (which I would use except it doesn't play albums in order).
So, I found this skin for WMP which was darn close to what I wanted. Tonite I modified the graphics a little to make it more like the HTC player.
Check it out...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315941
The images I modified are below. Just download the zip from post one, then throw my stuff in there to complete the look! Props to monoberlin for a great looking base skin!

Hey, that's pretty good. I think I'm gonna load that one up. Thanks!
Really nice.
By the way how did you get the album picture to show?
In the link your screen capture shows a picture in the center, I assumed that was an album pix.
Anyone knows how to show the picture saved in the tags?
Thanks,

Well, I would assume that if it were in the IDv3 tags that it would show, but going through my music it looks like it only works when you have the WMP style album art files in the same folder. Just use WMP on your computer to get the album art and make sure you copy over the (hidden I believe) picture files that are in the same folder.
I started using this theme and it works wonders in the car with the larger buttons. Thanks for everyones hard work in making my phone such an amazing device.
That looks very hot... but who uses WMP? =/ It sucks - can't even play with the screen turned off and theres no plugin support
How about skins for TCPMP that show you the song title of internet radio

There is no skin definition in TCPMP. Coreplayer has an XML skin reference, have fun reading their -->31<-- page Universal Skins Guide

Hi all, and thank you for checking out mine newest creation. The other day I was reading XDA-Developers and some guy sad, that he would like to have his MP3 playing while he is doing something else. So I made this piece of software.
So what it exactly does?
It plays mp3 in background and when playing a new song it will send a notification to you with the song name, cool eh.
So, how do I use it?
Very easy, Create your playlist, and press play. As simple as that. After that you can either press X button or just Start->Today.
Is it fmodce?
Yes it is.
How can I stop the music?
Access the program via your favorite Task Manager. In the future i will bind it to HW key.
Is this free?
Ofcourse. Download link is below.
In the file I downloaded there are some pictures, what is that?
Thing is guys, my rapidshare premium account is dying and I don't have money to extend it. So I added 3 PPC VGA wallpapers and 1 PC wallpaper to archive so it is 1MB now and you by downloading help my account stay alive.
How do I install?
Extract it and run BMP3.exe
Will it work with...?
It is compatible with WM2003SE, WM5, WM6. You need .net cf 2
It's not working, what should I do?
Post your problems here, or PM me and I will fix it ASAP. This is Alpha version after all.

Hello ,
I have not tried it as i am waiting for my replacement phone, but i am wondering, when you say notification of what song is about to play will it play an audible notification or just text? And if just text will you plan on making it audible anytime soon in future development?
And do you think you will have any plans on integrating it somehow with A_C's S2P?
I think a nice audible "about to play song" that does not cause your phone to wake up screen and drain battery compatible on Window mobile devices and work not only as a stand alone but also with S2P, and other player like Mort player? Coreplayer, And Windows Media player maybe?
Just throwing ideas out at you.
Thanks for the program

The bubble is nice, but most programs we have now does play music in the background. If you could intergrate the bubble with the following applications:
S2P
Windows Media Player
or
HTC Audio Manager
it would work much better.

I'm not sure, I understand the problem...
I go to the TF3D Player.
Tap "Library"
Tap "Albums"
Tap the album, I want to see.
- and right there... The list of songs on the specific album opens!
Tap any of the songs, and it plays.
nope, it's not that
i want to have on my tf3d music player screen (the big "rectangle" where the album art picture is displayed) album arts (pictures) of albums and not for songs
i want to flip finger and to change albums, like s2p does, and when i press or click on the desired album, to open and the to flip through songs, like it is the situation now
i hope you understand what i mean
I can see what you mean, and yes I was dissappointed that wasn't possible upon first inspection. But Henrikmand has explained how to overcome this.
I don't think TF3d is very buggy. It's the best WinMo skin/shell I've ever seen.
no, Henrikmand just explain how tf3d player works
but, in my opinion, this is a very complicated way and for sure doesn't do what i asked
and, yes, tf3d is extremely buggy and difficult to set and tweak, despite the beautiful looks
just another example concerning, again, the tf3d music player:
in order to have songs displayed in the same album, it is a must that each song has to have the same album name written within tag
for most of other players, basic ones, it is enough to through all songs within the same folder and this is it
and examples could continue! just take a look at this forum and see how many questions, issues, tweaks, tricks and so on are discussed here
this is the best barometer

where did get that from? i have my music very well organized
maybe my english is not so good
what i mean is that if you take, for instance, a compilation like best of or golden, whatever, in most of the cases, the tags oft the songs will have the original album name and not "best off" name
then in your tf3d player you will have several albums, despite the fact that you have only 1 folder with all those songs.
other players, will take into consideration the name of your folder, and the same album art if you add one within the folder, and will not split your folder (best off album) into several albums
do you understant me or i am to confuse?
TF3D is like Winamp and WMP, (I think protocol's name is UMPC) and like most of the mp3 players (Creative Zen, iTouch, ...), it's based on tags. So it was also hard for me, but if you want to keep on using TF3D player (which is not perfect but at least is user-friendly) you have to reorganize your personal music library by checking the tags validity with WMP for example... For a compilation, tag the tracks with the same album name (Something's Soundtrack) and the same artist (like Soundtrack or The compilation name if the tracks are from differents artists), and it will be perfect in the TF3D (though you could loose artist information, but you can't put it in the track name anyway).
'Hope it helps!
Isn't the guy on this pic able to flick through his albums or am I wrong here.

Technically, yeah, he can flick through the albums. But only by flicking through the songs.
So if there's 32 songs in that album, he has to flick through each and every one of the 32 songs to browse the next album. There seems to be no way for us to flick through the album in album art mode and then subsequently select the album to browse the songs.
Was kinda surprised at the way they set it up. Not as user friendly or efficient as it should be...
I've been trying to get album artwork to show up in the HTC music app but cannot figure it out. I've put a folder.jpg in the folder containing the music, even embedded the artwork into the mp3, but for whatever reason, some albums will not show any artwork.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks in advance.
UPDATE:
Downloaded MP3Tagger Pro from the Market, and that let me add artwork to the ID3 tag on the phone.

I have tried mp3 tagger and album art finder - both add the album art but strangely enough when I reboot my phone the album covers are missing. Anyone else having this problem?
Sent from my ADR6300 using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
I'm using "3" (cubed) for a music player app. That actually downloads and lets you select album art. I was also frustrated getting ID3 tag images to show correctly, so I'm just using a different music app.
I like 3, but right now, it only sees the music you have on your SD card, and not in the phone memory.
I use the HTC music app, and it imported all my album art in just fine. I just include a .jpg in the folder with the music, and it auto sets it to the album art.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my phone. Any suggestions??
Hi,
I am the developer of mp3tagger pro. If you used the mp3tagger pro option "easy album art finder" (which is doing the same thing as album art grabber) the album art is not persisted to the files itself but only to the internal android media database. This would be erased eg. after a firmware reset (it is strange that you are experiencing this after a normal restart though).
And this is why you have the additional "load by album" / "load by directory" option in mp3tagger pro. This will save the results to the files itself (the same way pc based tagger software would do it) and they will survive all kinds of wiping / resetting of your phone.
Another issue with HTC Music app
I have not experienced the album art issue, but one issue I have noticed is with the "default playlist." I'm not sure if it is a bug or what, but I normally keep my music on "shuffle all." After a certain amount of time of not using the music app, then next time I open it, it reverts back to wanting to play the first 100 tracks in my library. I then have to click back on the library list and choose "shuffle all" again to get the rest of my music to load up.
My BT is fully integrated with my car stereo and this one little thing is the only thing causing me to have to pull my phone out of my pocket when I get in my car.
Has anyone else noticed this when using the HTC music app? On my Droid, using the standard 2.1 Music app It would always just pickup playback where I left off.
Hello Guys,
So today after college, I decided to sit and organize my music. After a grueling 45 minutes on Mp3tag I accomplished the task only to find that on transferring the songs to my phone, I wasn't able to view them categorically on Play Music.
Although the music is sorted correctly, on expanding the tabs of any particular genre/album all that is shown is "Music" instead of a list of songs that belong that sub category. On clicking on the "Music" tab, it just displays ALL my songs.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",

}
However, if I add to play list it will correctly create a play list with only the songs that belong to that sub category.
Hope I have explained myself clearly.
Any help will be appreciated :highfive:
Verify your song tags are correct on Google Music's website. That's the ID3 data has on hand, so any mistakes/errors seen on your decide will be reflected there.
Are you sure Google Play can even do categories? I level all my music volumes using Mp3Gain and those changes aren't carried over into Google Play even though they are made to the id3tag.

Didn't quite get you. But, I should be able to assign any genre I want to any song I'd like and Play should sort them accordingly.

Well, I assume so because if I long press on the artists name and then press the "add to playlist" button, it will correctly add only the songs belonging to that artist to the play list. I'm just having a problem viewing songs under a particular category.
For example, as shown in the above pics, if I expand a particular genre or artist all that's displayed is under is "Music" (which upon clicking just takes me to a page which will display ALL my music) instead of displaying music belonging only to that particular sub category.
EDIT:
Is it like this for all of you'll? If that's the case then I can conclude that Play Music is inherently like that.

What I mean is I don't think Google Play can categorize music in the way you want it to, its too rudimentary. Myself I have problems with it even putting all my songs into the playlists I have created on my pc, only about 1/3 of the songs show up in any playlist. I just have not had a good experience using Google Play and went back to storing music locally and using PlayerPro. Though I now have a lot less music stored than I did when I had 32 GB of sdcard storage.
Go to music.google.com and fix the tags there. Their is a tag field for "Artist" and "Album Artist" so the "Various Artists" albums can be grouped together. You can "Group Edit" depending the view you are in.
P.S. You can get most album art from Amazon.
