HELP! Can relock bootloader anymore! - X Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Edit: Never mind, the firmware was added online https://github.com/motoxplay/stock
I've tried CM 13 several times and went back to stock ROM by locking the bootloader again. Never had any trouble.
Yesterday morning, I got the official OTA October patch. Then, I tried CM 14.1. Now I wanted to go back to stock and relock my bootloader but the ROM won't flash anymore!! I can flash it fine if I'm not trying to lock the bootloader but when I try to lock it I get "(bootloader) Preflash validation failed" with every file!
The ROM I have from firmware.center is the official ROM with the March security patch. So I tried downgrading to 5.1.1 to get the official OTA update and tried locking the bootloader again but no luck.
Can anyone help me please?

Trying to restore my moto x style back to stock

So since the official 7.0 rom is due to be released soon I want to restore my device back to stock but I'm having issues with this. I'm getting the Preflash validation failed error when flashing the GPT.bin.
My device is the XT1572 EU model and I am trying to flash the latest build for it which is this I believe:
"XT1572_CLARK_RETEU_6.0.1_MPHS24.107-58-5_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip"
I have looked around for fixes but they are saying you have to flash the latest version since Motorola don't allow downgrades even though I'm confident I am trying to flash the latest version.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
If you have "looked around" then you would know the answer that is given almost every time... Use the most recent you can find (usually one OTA behind) and skip gpt.bin if you get that error, and bootloader.img if necessary, you shouldn't have to skip anything else, then when it is up take the OTA and you should be good.

Not receiving system updates

Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this problem but I can't find much useful information to solve this: I rooted my Moto G4 Plus and after some time I decided to unroot and I flashed stock rom in it with unlocked bootloader. After that I'm stuck at Marshmallow and can't receive Nougat update. Everything was fine before I rooted and flashed stock rom in it with unlocked bootloader but now it doesn't seem to update. My model number is XT1642. How can I solve this problem and receive OTA updates? I also want to relock my bootloader. So to sum it all up: I want my device to be just as after I bought so to speak.
Depending on what Marshmallow ROM you flashed, it might have not been the correct version for your software channel, and thus your device won't have received an OTA (since the server is expecting a different build to the one you have).
If you wish to update to Nougat and re-lock your bootloader, you may wish to flash the June 2017 fastboot ROM, which should also re-lock your bootloader if you use the commands mentioned. Be aware that re-locking your device may wipe your data, back up and keep your data off your device until you're done.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138 for the June fastboot ROM. If at a later date you choose to unlock your bootloader again, do not downgrade your device to an older stock ROM from the June update.

Accept OTA updates on Nougat with unlocked bootloader?

I went to work successfully unrooting my phone earlier this year.
I kept the bootloader unlocked because I didn't see it as a problem.
I began working on locking the bootloader this November after my phone could not successfully install the Nougat update.
I've flashed the stock Marshmallow image from Motorola's website but was never given the Nougat update :{
I've read in some places that image is outdated, so i tried some other "official" images I could find that were supposed to be more up to date.
I had the same problem with them so I successfully flashed a Nougat image from: firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20X%20Pure%20%28XT1575%29/Stock/
I've now been hit a security update for nougat (version 25.201.1) and I get this error upon the first reboot
E3005 "/modem/image/adsp.b01" has unexpected contents.
E: Error in /cache/BLur_Version.25.11.22.clarck_retus.retus.en.US.zip
(Status 7)
I don't care if my bootloader is locked or not I just want my phone successfully install these updates
Any ideas?
Thanks
I think you had some errors with last flashing.
You should flash the same stock Nougat one more time.
Each fastboot command should ends with OK. @tijuanagenius

Your modem firmware is incorrect, it is not what is expected by the update script (see bold highlight above)... The bootloader being locked or unlocked by itself will not effect being able to successfully take an OTA update.

Thanks! I simply tried flashing the NON_HLOS.bin file again and the update completed successfully!

Factory Images for build NPH25.200.23

Does anyone have and/or able to post the most recent factory images for the XT1575? Given my phone previously received an OTA update to NPH25.200-23 (November 2017), I cannot use the NPH25.200-22 images posted here to flash my phone (or lock the bootloader). My understanding is that is not possible to downgrade to the Android 6.0 firmware after this OTA update or to a lower build number either.
I believe a large number of users should have received the OTA to NPH25.200-23, if anyone has the stock image for this build I would really appreciate it. As of now I am unable to restore my phone or lock my bootloader, flashing to NPH25_200-22 fails. Really appreciate any help, sure regret accepting the OTA update to NPH25.200-23. I received a warranty replacement from Motorola that was still running Marshmallow, and as soon as I fired it up it presented the OTA update to NPH25.200-23 (not NPH25.200-22), and shortly thereafter a security patch to October 2017. At this point I decided to unlock the bootloader and play with customer roms which was bad move, as none of the custom roms support the Nougat firmware on the XT1575, and all the ones I tried loaded would result in a boot loop. I couldn't find any mention of this constraint on the LineageOS or AICP websites, if only I had known!
Pretty sure my only options are to flash a factory image of build NPH25.200-23 or wait for the custom roms to support the more recent firmware. Any other suggestion would be appreciated. Really hoping someone has the NPH25.200-23 factory image.
You can't relock BL(maybe in future).
But
You can flash(Asia, LA, US, dd EU) any stock Nougat and ota's will be installed succesfully.
What fails when you flash .22? gpt.bin .. bootloader... a sparsechunk? BTW good luck getting the .23. Was surprised to even get the .22 firmware.
BL, GPT always fail if lower version.

Not true. Downgraded from nougat .201.1 to .22 only thing failed was gpt.bin. So if that was the only thing that failed when he did the .22 flash from .23 then replace the gpt.bin. But if also the bootloader then hes screwed till firmware is available.

T-Mobile 6T OTA Error, Can't update.

Tried everything including searching the forums for an answer. My device is bootloader unlocked, was formally rooted and had a few modules installed, as well as TWRP. It is now simply bootloader unlocked with no root and stock recovery, and even tried a factory data reset as well as multiple attempts at flashing the stock TMo rom for the 6T to no avail. The flash-all.bat can't proceed without the "images.zip" file and that is nowhere to be found in the rom's zip or anywhere else. I'm still running the software that came out of the box on launch day because I've had this issue persist since the first OTA update was released. The OTA will download and then installation comes to a halt with error message "Couldn't update. Installation problem."
Please help, I just want to update this phone. Never had this much trouble with something so mundane.
edit: MSM download tool successfully reverted to stock rom and fixed update issue. Thanks XDA
