I bought a Galaxy S7 Edge off of ebay when I boot it up and try and log in to my Google account it says I need to log in with the previous email??? Is there anyway I can fix this issue? Why is this happening?

I factory reset and then I even Installed SM-935U and it still said it...
Don't make sense, should be wiped clean, Is your phone number registering?
You've triggered factory reset protection. Use that search at the top of the page and you'll find the answer how to bypass it here on xda.

Well, by installing a custom recovery you will be able to wipe your phone's data from there.
Can't you go to the Samsung website and go through the "forgot the password" routine? Isn't this the same account/credentials?

simple, you can't. Only samsung can. If you prove that you bought the phone to samsung and if you can prove that you bought the phone to samsung with proof of purchase to you letterhead , the samsung can unlock it.

As long as you can enable OEM Unlock under the Developer options, after a hard reset it will not get stuck on the setup screen.
Of course the trick is to get into the Dev menu first
I have had this issue several times in the past simply put I dont believe you can...
You can disable the samsung account apps where it dont ask for it but still need it to reset.
If you fac reset from recovery then It is the same as googles frp protection.
As stated you need to go through Sammy to get rid of it totally If I am not mistaken

Thank you, after flashing U firware I use the downgrade firmware linked in the tuto and the FRP can be resetted with the package. After I re-install the U firmware (i m in Canada) and the phone work very well
I bought a G935V on ebay with a cracked screen. I replace the screen and powered back on and seemed ok but now I am stuck on FRP screen. The seller sold the phone as is, I just thought that meant broken screen.
Is there anything I can do or am I sol at this point?
Keep trying to unlock it until the phone does a factory reset. Or boot into recovery and do a factory reset.

I have the same situation. I also bought on ebay.
I changed the firmware to 6.01. (October 2016). It did not help.
No method with youtube works for me. And in my country there is no cdma.
Now I'm looking for a solution. The last option is to carry the guys with programmers ...
I tried the firmware from version U but they are not installed

Unless the device was not updated to nougat, this option is a waste of time. not only the device will be a pain in the guts, it will make you doubt of your skills and life

Which model is it?
If its not chinese refurbished one, you can pop back cover and look at the sticker under the battery. There might be a way to do so by Partition_DL the stock rom of your phone via patched LG_UP

So I just got this S8 from a family member and it they forgot their password to their google account and couldn't factory reset it. So I decided to factory reset it through the power+bixby+upvolume menu but then I got the google lock. Afterwards I went on the internet and attempted to bypass it using odin and the Factory binary. If anyone has any suggestions or could offer any help, it would be much appreciated. If it helps, the carrier is Sprint and the FRP lock is off on the system.
