I just tried the Desire HD Rom. It rocks. I use the FM radio a lot, and noticed instantly how much higher the sound level is on this ROM vs. stock or ICE. Usually with ICE, I need to have the volume all the way up and even then its still very low... with the Desire ROM halfway up is louder than all the way on the stock/ICE rom.
Is there some volume limiter in the ICE/stock rom?
Please post questions in Q&A section...
Yeah, the volume is definitely louder across the board

There is an audio patch in the themes and apps section.

MiNCO rom
Hi,
I've just noticed recently that on high volume, my Nexus 4 makes fuzzing sound during a call. The earpiece vibrates too strong and it makes components around it vibrate too.
I wonder if you have the same problem.
Thanks for replying in advanced!

Hey peeps, all i want is to increase headphone volume, add a torch short cut and maybe increase the camera quality (if possible)
do I need a custom ROM for this or can I flash a zipfile or something ?
For the headphone volume all you need is a custom kernel I think

You can do those things with the xposed framework and gravitybox.

Click to collapse
Do you have any particular in mind for volume purpose?

Franco's kernel is good

Franco's doesn't support 4.3, does it?

Just download franco.kernel from the playstore and autoflash it.It will download and install lastest kernel.Yes it suports 4.3
Also with Hells kernel you can increase the headphone volume.

For higher volume, use a lower impedance headphone or buy a new phone or buy a dedicated headphone amplifier. Torch shortcut, just download any flashlight app, they usually come with a home screen widget. Increase camera quality, buy a new phone. Sorry, couldn't be more helpful.

Volume is turned all the way up through speaker and headphones and it sounds like it is only turned up half way.
Anyone else experiencing this?
