Boot Loop and hanging phone and black screen
I was using my phone when this blackscreen happened, i was shocked with what happened, using it while charging and my Data and wifi was on, then it suddenly black screened, then i watched a video how to solve it, then it says there that i should press power and volumce down button, then i didt it and luckily its OK, then the next day while charging my phone and left it on my room, the boot looping starts, it keep on restarting, only logo keep on showing, then Ive read something that says i have to factory reset my phone and i did that pressing volume up, home and power button, then i swipe and factory reset, but the boot looping keeps on going.
and ive watched a video using Odin 3, got the firmware here in sammobile with 4 files unzipped BL, AP, CP and CSC then this time it opened it was successful, then while using my phone for about many hours... my phone hangged, and reset then boot looping again.... i dont know now what to do..... what happened to my phone was frustrating..... pls guys help me pls huhuhuhuhu i love my phone so much....
Might be a damaged motherboard (emmc or whatever samsung uses) it happened to my friend with her LG. Something inside the chip was broken and it would boot loop. She took it to warranty repair service and like a week later she got her phone back fixed.
If odin doesn't help then it's most likely hardware issue.

Hi,
I have a SG Note 4 (n910f), I have not rooted the phone.
Every once in a while the phone turns off and reboots, and then it reboots again and again, it's stuck in a bootloop. However when I wait like 30 minutes to an hour, it eventually succesfully boots and shows my lockscreen, at that point the phone works fine again.
It happens now nearly every day and is getting very annoying.
I only once flashed an original software update from samsung with Odin without voiding the knox warranty.
The only thing I haven't done yet is setting the phone to factory defaults. I'm going to try that today, hopefully it works, but I have a feeling that the problem is hardware related.
I can't get into recorevy mode, and I don't have a custom recovery and i'm afraid if I get that it voids the warranty.
What should I do?
I can't go to a samsung service point when the phone isn't bootlooping cause they'll say nothing is wrong, and if I do go there with a bootloop, it might fix itself again and they say it is fixed, though the next day it goes bootlooping again...
Edit: I can get into standard recovery when the phone doesn't bootloop. Just cleared system data and cache.
After I did that the phone got stuck in a boot loop again

If you have a external sdcard remove & try.
So i have bought my phone about 3 months ago. All have worked well, but a couple off days ago, it have had some problems.
It sayed 2-3 days trebuchet process have stopped and process.android.process.media has stopped. The only solution when this came i had to restart the device. I tried yesterday a factory reset but it didnt work.
Yesterday evening it did again the process stopps and then i tried to restart my phone. But when it shut down it dosent anymore go on. Now it dosent react to anything, not the normal powerbutton and not even the powerbutton + volume -. I havent rooted the device. So is there anything i could anymore do or should i just send it to warranty repair?
Im very desperate, thanks for all the help. But if you have an solution can you write it step by step, im not so experienced in smartphones.
Now i got the phone to restart but when it start it says over and over again that trebuchet has stopped. What can i do to this problem?
Edit: And now its stucked in the Zuk start screen. Dam im getting frustated...
Enter in recovery mode and do a factory/cache wipe
Have you installed any themes? Because some cm13 compatible themes cause system ui crashing
Hello, havent installed any themes. How do i get to recovery mode?
If the recovery mode is volume up and power button. This neither works, its still dead. Dosent even vibrate when pressing power button long.
Power on the phone , when you hear the vibration and the zuk logo appears , press both volume buttons, this should let you boot in the recovery
What happens if you connect the fone to charger?
But the phone dosent power on. So i cant do that. And no, the battery is not dead.
Ok, if you cant boot it, the last thing is warranty , where have you bought your device?
I could boot it today on the morning 1 time but then it again died and now its totally dead. I bought it thru tomtop, have put a message to the seller already. Lets se what they answer.
Ok, hope the seller will answer you , continue trying to boot it .
Let me know if wou solve it
Yeah the seller answered that i get a new device. But then on tuesday i tried a last boot, and it got alive again! I did the factory reset and now the phone has worked perfectly after that [emoji106]
But now the trebuchet keeps stopping and after that all the processes i have open. So now i changed to Nova launcher, i hope it would solve the problem.
Glad to know you solved the problem
Trebuchet problemi shoul be solved with marsmallow update.

Yeah it was solved like 5 days. Now the apps started to crash again :crying: And now the f***** phone dosent even start. Its just stuck in the Zuk powered by android start screen. Is there something i could do? I dont think the factory reset would help in long term beacause it didnt help the last time. Or should i just send the phone to the seller and request for a new one?
Edit: And now the factory reset dosent even work. When i try to reboot it after Factory reset its stuck on the Cyanogen start screen, so i think my last option is to ship the phone to the seller and hope i get a new device.
Edit2: And now after a second factory reset the phone started to work again. What can cause this type of meltdown? Could it be somekind of hardware problem or is it a software problem?
The Best solution is to change the device if you can, because you're not sure if it will work in the future.
Hi,so i replaced LCD in my I9515, I've been doing this with youtube tutorial. Before 1-2 weeks ago my phone boot normally but i couldnt see anything due to broken LCD. In store, guy took my battery and connected it to a naked motherboard and lcd to see if it's working. After replacment when i try to boot it's stuck on Samsung Galaxy S4 logo and wont boot further. I can go into download mode, computer and odin are seeing connected phone, but i cannot boot into recovery it's just showing blue "booting recovery" and nothing happening. When I charging it, the grey battery pops out, but when i unplug it the battery is still there like it's still connected. Sometimes when i try to turn it off when it's stuck on galaxy s4 logo it's turning off then on by itself like 2 or 3 times. Any ideas how to fix it? It's hardware or software problem? In a minutes i'll try to flash stock soft from sammobile. Phone was never rooted and no custom roms were installed.
Thanks for all help.
EDIT Flashing with ODIN not solved the problem
EDIT Now phone doesnt show battery when connected just one vibrate and screen is blank, and when i try to boot it while connected it's just vibrating and still black screen. When it was connected to pc it was vibrating every 2 seconds. When I try to boot it's by itself trying to boot recovery but it's not booting and blue "recovery booting" just hang on top of screen and nothing happening.
EDIT After restarting it from download mode it's get back to the problem i had in the beggining
EDIT Just flashed 4-files soft with PIT and nothing changed
I think the screen may not have been replaced properly.
And motherboard is broken now ? I think i did everything right.
There might be a short circuit somewhere. I can't tell you exactly.
So the best option now it's tech look at it?

Yes. Unless you have some tech-savvy friends who could also look at it.
Can anyone PLEASE help??
My partner opted to do a suggested update on her S5, but didn't notice the wifi was off. The phone seemed to have done the update, but shortly after it rebooted itself, then again, then again. The frequency of reboot got quicker and quicker and now it loops between the Galaxy S5 splash screen and the SAMSUNG logo, but doesn't go any further.
I managed to boot the phone into reset mode, cleared the cache and then did a factory reset, but that did nothing to prevent the boot loop.
I then downloaded Odin (ver 10.3.7) and what I believed to be the correct firmware (G900FXXS1CPLV_G900FVFR1CPJ1_G900FXXU1CPIW_HOME.tar.md5).
Having checked the battery was charged, I followed the instructions of connecting the phone via USB, loading the md5 in the AP, checking Auto Reboot and F-Set time in the options and clicking the Odin Start button. I had removed the battery, replaced it and then booted it into the update mode (Power, Home, Volume Down, then volume up) with the screen confirming I was in the right place (....do not unplug.... etc).
The file loaded, (green bar at top of the Odin window on my PC) and Odin reported success. I then disconnected the phone, booted in recovery mode, reset the cache and then did a clear data, factory reset.
The same symptoms prevail, STUCK IN BOOT LOOP!!!!
The only thing different is that if I plug it into the USB on my PC, after a while the phone tries to turn itself on and goes into either a boot loop or freezes on the Galaxy S5 Splash screen or the SAMSUNG Logo.
I am charging another battery (just in case that is in some way to blame) and will try again to replace the firmware, but could I be missing something, do I need to do anything with PIT (I thought this was all taken care of by Odin using the MD5 file) or is there some other test I can perform that will show if the phone is fried???
MANY THANKS for looking!
ur going correct, try to reflash it again through odin and dont disconnect phone until it boots into system, it is taking some good time, so just wait and dont do anything this time like clearing anything or restoring. i hope ull get success.
THANKS - but...
Thanks Rayzen, I will try the whole thing again, but I think there is something more to this than a firmware fault!
There and gone again
OK, so on the 4th attempt I got the phone to take the firmware using Odin, it reported success and the phone rebooted itself (several times) and eventually appeared to boot to a new factory reset.
I put in a SIM card and entered my email and google account details and left it charging over night. This morning when I tried to use it, the screen froze and then it rebooted itself. Hey presto, the phone is back to square one with a boot loop.
ANYONE (please) got any suggestions?
THANKS
No one??
same here, same symptoms, same feeling.
when flash gone right... i feel lucky.. but for half hour only, rebooted and angain in boot loop.
I cannot even boot in recovery. flashed TWRP. from 5 boots in recovery only 1 success.
When trying to wipe phone in TWRP - it hangs.
still trying to install some other (custom) rom. still no success.
hope never dies
same things happened here! now cant get samsung galaxy s5 to boot...............
Are you sure your using right firmware? as it took me a few versions before it booted last time this happened?
Could any please confirm what is the right firmware for samsung galaxy s5 900F
It took another 6 or 7 attempts, left it over night and was about to trash it when it booted.
I then received a 'software update available' message and tried installing it. First attempt put the phone back into boot loop so I reflashed it again using Odin.
That worked immediately the over the network software update installed and now phone is 100%
Very frustrating but I got there!
glad you fixed it! ive tried three different firmwares and still nothing.
trying this one atm

oh and how long do they take to boot when there are sitting at the samsung glowing screen?>
I'm in UK and used what (I had to guess) was the best firmware.
I'll let you know which version it was when I get home tonight.
BUT I had all the problems with a single version and it eventually came good.
I read somewhere that overwriting a different core (from specific providers) with generic firmware, could lead to a world of pain until it gets full replaced... not sure if that's a good description (or has any fact to it) but it seemed to be re-loading and re-loading and re........ for ages, finally cracked it.
well mines booted now!but getting constant errors about samsung push!
If it'still booted, you'very made progress!
Push issues are mentioned elsewhere and can (eventually be sorted) but if you have a booted phone you should be able to get an over the air software update installed from the service provider....?!
Hello guys,
A few months back i got a nokia 5 which was in a bootloop. With the relevant key combinations i managed to get to the boot menu. There i did a hard reset but nothing happened. After reading several forums i understood that the problem might be corrupted system files. So i manged to find stock android for the device and tried to flash it . ( used nokia 6.0.4) But the flashing process did not complete properly and went to the same boot loop. After wasting lot of time i found out that inorder to flash the bootloader must be unlocked on the device. Since i cannot switch on the device I was not able to unlock my bootloader. So i decided to screw up my efforts on reviving my phone. We have no authorized nokia service center in sri lanka . and the service centers which does repair nokia phones are very far from my place.
This week when i charged the phone it kept on displaying the android logo for at least 10 hours. I manged to switch off the device after pressing power button for 30s. AFTer that when i switched the phone back on it went to a bootloop again. I decided to test my luck by bringing the phone to reapir center And straightway the repairman said that it was a problem with the batter and it should be replaced.
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN A BOOTLOOP BE SOLVED AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY????
Thanks,
Pasan
