Hello,
The B126 update is available in OTA from several French users (including myself)
Build : MHA-L29C432B126
553 Mo
Bought at Boulanger (not the baguette seller, a chain store haha ).
If a developer needs information, etc. to advance the bootloader unlocker/root/etc, go DM.
Thanks for your info, you're lucky, haven't get it till now
I hope it reaches Portugal soon. Just ordered a tripod to take same nice pictures with my Mate 9
Enviado do meu MHA-L29 através de Tapatalk
Same here in France! Had to check in settings to trigger it!
Anyone who hasn't gotten the update yet, you will be able to install it with my method soon. Or, you can install B135. Or any other build! So don't feel bad, the solution is coming!

You do unbelievably great efforts to support all who wait and believe in you! Thanks so much on behalf of those who impatiently are waiting...
Still no update for users in Singapore.
Update, looks like Huawei might be signing the update for installation, depending on IMEI.
This is my old solution but since it's set up, those of you who have the MHA-L29C432 variant, please give this a try:
1. Set your DNS to 133.130.88.119 on your wifi router.
2. Try to restore with eRecovery (hold volume up button and plugged in USB cable when booting)
If this doesn't work, my new method will work 100% even without approval from Huawei to install the update, but when I scanned Huawei's servers and queried with a European IMEI, I got a response that B126 was install-able, so it might work for you guys. Your mileage may vary.

Sorry. I am currently conducting a test of my new method with another tester. That is why the name is different. It will not work currently.

Ah that's obvious then
But call me crazy: after reverting back to my own DNS I got a message there was an update available to b126. Official ota just installed without a problem.
Maybe coincidence, maybe something with your DNS triggered the update but I'm good for now!
Thanks for your hard work!

Looks like B126 is now being signed by Huawei. It's not a beta anymore.

OK so I reverted back to my normal dns and it said no update avaliable.. I'm kinda scared now to download it, is there any disadvantage to using this method for the future updates?
Received b 126 in Italy via OTA. Let's see how it works
Right now I'm on this firmware version

After changing DNS router setting I have this message
When I change back to my usual DNS the update disappear.
I'm not sure if is safe to update, taking in consideration my original firmaware version, and the size of update 1.7Gb, which I think is the whole package not simply the OTA.
Any advice?

My DNS is overriding huawei's servers and pushing the update to everyone with the MHA-L29.
If you use eRecovery, it will install. If you use OTA, it may not install depending on whether your phone is a MHA-L29C432 or not. If your model is MHA-AL00C432, everything will work normally, as it's an official upgrade. If you have a different model, it's certainly not the official upgrade path, but it should work if you install with eRecovery
Would it work for the L29C185B110? And function normally later?

Not sure if you know about it, but your phone is basically showpiece from showrooms or shops, that's the X in your version number. This kind of phones are not intended to be sold for customers.
You will never got more updates as you already have, so your only option is to flash it manually.
Bootloop problem is not dependant on software version. It doesn't matter if you have 5.1 or 6.0.

Do you have an accurate source to backup your wild claims?
My EU (UK) H815 v20d-EUR-XX is currently downloading the update.
No need for a manual flash and my device certainly was not a store demo model.
Hello,
My G4 is unlocked and ROOTED and the update is available and in downloading atm.
There are something I should to know about the fact that my smartphone ROOTED evening before applying the update?
Could this affect my G4?
Thank you! =D

Sure,
We are not talking about the same thing.
Look again, and maybe twice at his version number: It's is VX10c-EUR-XX
I'm not talking about XX, but about the first "X"... see?
Sure, your device is the same as mine v20d-EUR-XX which is a retail model, but this is not the case for VX10C-EUR-XX which is unfortunately a demo model
Ok, finally, it seems that I can't update automatically with a G4 ROOTED.
When I launch the update this message pop "phone restarting"
Then boot directly on TWRP... (>_<)

Off you can't. You have another recovery. Use LG UP and flash it. Easier can't be. Note you will lose root and the recovery.

Go to thread about the Portugal update and download the KDZ from there. Any link from that thread is the international H815 update. Don't worry about countries and shenanigans is the same firmware for all. V20g-EUR-XX. Install LG UP on your PC. First the DLL then the program. Place the KDZ in your LG UP install directory (Crogram Files (x86)/LG Electronics/LGUP/model/8994). Put your phone in download mode. (With phone turned off press Volume UP and with it press plug in the USB cable). Click refurbished option for a complete wipe and clean flash. Before all this make a backup. You can also select upgrade option to avoid wipe but I always recommend a clean flash. Read the according threads in XDA for further information if you need.
It seems the h818p will not be updated(yet)?
@src151 thanks for the info. I didn't knew that demo phones can have the GSM module. At least I got it at a very good price
I will upgrade manually then.
Hi guys, i just received my new prime exclusive moto g 4th, once i turned on my devices an update appears so i installed it (OTA), i remember there was something in the name like MPJ24.139-64, once it finished updating i wanted to remove the ads following this tutorial MOTO G 4th Gen How to Remove the Amazon Lock Screen Ads and Bloat Ware . i did it all exactly as it is on the post. now my device can't start and i am not able to install the stock firmware cause all the stock rom versions available are actually lower that the installed on my phone and i think i can't downgrade because of the locked bootloader and it seems to be unlockable .
also it says on the recovery mode the next legancy: WE HAVE DETECTED AN ATTEMPT TO FLASH UNAUTHORIZED SW ON YOUR DEVICE. CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ASSISTANCE.

After a little research, it does appear that an OTA was released for the AMZ XT1625. Sorry, I can't think of anything else that hasn't already been suggested.
It seems Moto has changed their site and updated the s/w it now shows XT1625.
I am currently downloading from motorola right now. I am also making a backup like normal. I will let you know if it works for the XT1625 as mine is retail US.
OK I downloaded and flashed it. While it came to the July 1 security update build still said -49. There was no Amazon ad crap and I got a system UI fc and retail something fc. Beyond that it was working just fine after about 5 mins.
the problem is that on mine phone the bootloader is unlockable

I restored my backup. I didn't try to downgrade. I will try that tomorrow.
I reflashed the moto firmware from moto website. Tried to downgrade and got an error myself. However I did have the factory -48 firmware. I don't remember where I got it from so sorry I cannot link it. I was able to flash twrp and wiped all data then flashed -48. I instantly received software update after I finished the normal setup. It updated to build number MPJ24.139-64. As soon as everything finishes reinstalling on my XT1625 I will post a screenshot.
Okay I found it again. Hope this will help out. Also this is only for Retail US. I do not think that it will work for AMZ
Firmware That I flashed. http://www.filefactory.com/file/3t2...PJ24.139-48_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
im in the same situation with a soft bricked, bootloder locked, amazon g4. and i would like to try to update with a zip file of the update if there is one to be found somewhere.
I think at this point we can really say that the OTA update thas is being rolled out since 2 days ago is the oficial update to Android 7.0 + EMUI 5!

In order to concentrate all the discussion in one thread, I started this one, so please let's try to keep all info in one place!
For those who have your devices with root, please use the rollback packages to go back to b131 and relock your bootloader (necessary?!) before trying to update.
If you haven't receive the update notification yet, try to force it via the HiCare app:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HiCare app
- Go to services
- Choose the option to early adopters (if you don't have this option, go to Me > Settings > Location and choose another nearby location and try again)
- check if there is a notification of a new update
- accept and follow the instructions
- if everything is ok, you should get the notification update on the update app
If you haven't receive the update yet, don't panic, as always, not everyone receives the update at the same time, we should only expect it to come out on February, so if we are getting it now we can only be patient and happy
For those who don't want to wait for the update via Hicare/Updater, check this thread that can help you getting the update using Charles app method.
PS: It's not mandatory, but it's recommended to do a backup before the update (via HiSuite) and perform a factory reset after the update!
PS2: It's always kind to say thank you! by words and pushing the Thanks button bellow

Thanks Nathan. Nothing related, but I sent you a PM cause I have a problem since latests updates where I am stucked with ipv6, if I switch to ipv4, no data at all anymore (Bouygues telecom)
Did you received the PM ? I would like to know, if possible, if you are on ipv4 with bouygues and with data ok ? Eventually share your bouygues APN settings ?
Thanks a lot !
Cheers

No luck yet! I guess it only works who filled the early access form.
Now we have C21
I got c21, with purevpn India in EU. Its really fast and nice ui but it broke google pay nfc payments for me. Some error about device might be rooted and is not certified.

It's because it's still early test version... Should be sorted on stable rollout.

I used seed4 vpn and selected India too. I hope it will be fixed with the stable release or else I think a factory reset is needed

I don't think so, I had the update on the EU version with Indian firmware, I think it's quite risky

Check Play Store settings. Is your device certified?
Check Google Pay. Are you allowed to use contactless payments in shops?

I used this method successfully with what I assume is a UK device (bought on ebay) a week ago.
I used VPN for St. Petersburg as Moscow wasn't available.
None of the issues that you mentioned.... I usually factory reset after a major upgrade but haven't this time as the rom is running flawlessly.
Have you done anything other than update, factory reset perhaps? Seems strange that only you appear to be having these issues.

Hello finally I got the ANDROID 10 update for our precious
... if that can help ... here is the way in which I proceeded: I am in France:
- I put my phone in English and the location in Russia
- Then installation of a VPN to go through Russia with IPSec setting
- search for updates and bingo: New version detected Android 10 ColorOS 7: CPH1919EX_11C.10
- download and update the precious
- and finally I have returned my original language and localization settings.
now I have more than to discover the novelties

Could you please check Play Store>settings and let me know the certification status?
Also, if you can check Google Pay and let me know if it comes up with any errors (not allowing you to use in shops.
Thank you. It would be really helpful

Yes...and Netflix. There's something in the coding that some apps see as a circumvention of security (root).
We know it's not a true root...no root checking apps detect root and luckily my banking app can detect root in any scenario, but it is working (I've come to this phone after years 6 years of custom ROMs), but something is missing from this firmware.
I mentioned in another thread, that I have been in touch with Google about this an they have suggested that Oppo may not have submitted their software for verification which is leading to this error.
Actually in the Google play settings Mine is not certified.but does it matter? however I don't use Google pay. I think this certification is a matter of days .this is a may be caused by regionalization by wave of updates. the next security update should be fixed.wait and see .
Oppo is a serious company Chinese Group BBK (with Vivo, OnePlus and Realme) ...
Just updated mine as well. Didn't even need to change device language, just vpn and location on russia did the trick
New update ColourOs 7 with Google protect certified
Now proposal of a new update and this without VPN, after installing this update the call is now certified Google protect ...
After update c11 - the device says google play is certified but you still cant use it for Google Pay.
Wow they pushed that updates very fast - downloading now as well. If it fixes the play store issue thats at least something good. Hopefully the google pay issue is worked out quickly enough

Looks like my complaint to Oppo and ColorOS teams worked.
Maybe it was a coincidence. Ha!
