I'd think you downgrade the same way you upgrade don't know if there is an issue pertaining to the 2 versions you've mentioned!

let me tell you what I have done so fare.
I successfully upgrade the ROM but didn't like the features so decided to downgrade it back the older one which is orignal from t mobiles. initially it went very well but when it reached upto 25% the the Pc turned off and the MDA pro as well.
After that I cant see the full deatails it only shows no gsm and D.2.00.41 WWE,on boating screen and device information shows:
ROM version 2.00.41 WWE
ROM date 08/08/07
Radio Version . .........
Protocol Version ...
ExROM Version .............
After this when ever I tried to upload the older(orignal T.Mobile) versoion it showa an error "ERROR 120 .Country ID code" or some thing like this
or "the rome image that you are trying to use is not designed to work on your device please contact vendor web into and download the correct ROM updat".
i download the older verson from tha same source but still not working.
and let me tell you that my MDA is every thing for me .
plz if you have any suggestion i'll be waiting .

i was have nAr.icke.WM6.5.MANILA.21895.WWE installed on my device and gps work good
when i try to upgrade to new rom (NiAx_BlueA) the progress bar stopped at 2% and then disconnected .
and then i install the original rom and then install nAr.icke.WM6.5.MANILA.21895.WWE again but the gps stop working??
and try many rom but i have th same problem gps doesn't work
what is the problem ???

I want to ask this because I didn't find any clear and direct answer to this question (in the awfully long threads about this topic).
I don't own an Optimus 7 directly, I am talking about my girlfriend's phone.
Long ago I heard about the possibility of enabling Internet Sharing on LG E900 Optimus 7.
I already know that a particular driver or firmware update is required for it.
Today I managed to update the phone to Tango using Zune. Still I don't receive any LG firmware upgrade ...
These are the firmware numbers I read :
OS Version 7.10.8773.98
Firmware 1.1.2.10
Hardware 1.0.0.0
Radio 1.1.2.10
Hardware radio 0.3.5.0
Bootloader 1.5.1.0
My girlfriend wants Internet Sharing but she won't let me reset her phone. She doesn't want to lose any message or app or photo or video or information she stored so far.
So the question is :
is there ANY WAY to flash the driver, to flash the firmware, to flash what's needed into this phone to enable internet sharing without losing any data ?
I already enabled the Internet Sharing option using registry editor, but the driver is still missing. "There is a problem with the current settings" message appears when I try to enable it.
any dev could help me ? I wonder if the cab sender isn't enough to send this driver to the phone.
can somebody give me a clear answer except for "you must reset the phone" ?

Good to you that you made update on 8773 on OPN firmware, but my opinion reason why you be luck to update on 8773 is because you do not have OPN firmware that bring Internet Sharing.
My Story:
Couple months ago, Zune SW pop-up with notification for new update, at the end my phone was able to act as access point.
To be able to do that on your phone, you will need 1.1.9.10, in between there two other firmware 1.1.4.10 & 1.1.6.10.
I am suspect that reason why I cannot update on 8112 and 8773 is this firmware.
Please if someone with 1.1.9.10 OPN firmware has same problem, please describe here.

Because Users don't know what they have in own phones.
There is internet sharing since mango.

You didn't really read all my topic, didn't you ??
What are you saying is wrong.
Tango didn't bring the internet sharing.
A firmware update that was not received by everyone bringed it.
The firmware update changes accordingly to the brand of the phone.
I forced the 'Internet Sharing' option to show up by using WinTT.
When I try to enable it as I already said a "There is a problem with the current settings" message appears.
The real question is still this :
I bought my Optimus 7 in France, and I discovered later that it was 'OPN' branded. I used it with Vodafone since the beginning. PHERAPS this is the reason I didn't get the firmware update.
So what happens if I try to manually flash the cab 'LG Optimus 7/E900 - OPN NEU branded 1.1.6.10 - November 7th 2011' over :

See my post here, download Samsung-i917-Focus-firmware-UCJK3-ATT-USA_4K.exe and extract it.
For the Force_Select_MD5 downloader, go here for the 7.03 version. You can also check the 7.41 version there and I've also attached the 7.05 version.

Looks like an irrecoverable error
You're not supposed to flash 1.3 to 1.4 and the other way around! Read the wiki...

Used custom rom to flash. Tried DFT Freedom Focus Rev 1.4 8107 22langs, clean_rom_3.10a and 1.4版】Samsung I917 WP7.8 8835 CUSTOM ROM. No joy. I even flashed the factory rom Samsung-i917-Focus-firmware-UCJK3-ATT-USA_4K. All flash without error but stuck at the samsung logo. Please help. Ver 1.4 device

So I really would like to flash a new Rom to my Samsung omnia 7. However none of the tutorials seem to work...
My os version is:
7.10.8773.98
my Bootloader version is: 5.11.1.8
Also my phone is not unlocked. It was once but i updateded it and i lost my unlock so I'm back to normal...
So could anyone help me and redirect me to the correct thread for my needs or write down what i need to do?

****... So i finally managed to flash my rom installed magldr on my phone and then used dft wpi sam1 to flash another rom.. Turns out my phone has probably no firmware now and after the bootup logo remains at a black screen... So could anyone help me please?
