i have htc p3600
i was have nAr.icke.WM6.5.MANILA.21895.WWE installed on my device and gps work good
when i try to upgrade to new rom (NiAx_BlueA) the progress bar stopped at 2% and then disconnected .
and then i install the original rom and then install nAr.icke.WM6.5.MANILA.21895.WWE again but the gps stop working??
and try many rom but i have th same problem gps doesn't work
what is the problem ???
what should i do?

hello, you need to upgrade your radio version.
Read the Flashing tutorial under "Software upgrade" section

Iam using O2 Xda II mini when i was updating my phone suddenly my computer shutdown and after that i cheaked my phone its GSM part is not working i try so many time to update radio rom but its not updating but rest phone system is working properly and updating also Plss help me to over come from this.

Hi Guy ... I had the same problem , and tried many ROM and also the Original Rom From HTC .... so far it works ,,, but i lost the GPS functionality ,... so i wanted to get the Wm6.1 or 6.5 ....
and i discovered one thing makes it works without stopping on boot ,,,
if i twisted the device and boot it from the button ,,, it works fine and stable for many days ,,, so i think it maybe breakage on the circuit board ,,, but i tried many times and it works,.,,,
now aday i m using wm6.1 from Thailand .... PDA MOBIZ ..very fast and stable

i canceled the idea of buying anew PDA

i bought vodafone magic
and the rom was not the orginal one
1-it not connect to pc"via htc sync"
2-the marek is not workin it is close by it self
3-when i tried to update the rom i saw the following no signature stuff
plzzzzzzzzzzzz help there is no gps program and no file browser it sucks without programs

suddenly my GPS is not working anymore. Can enable GPS and it says it is ok. But when i want use Google Maps, or navigation program the icon in taskbar is not there anymore.
Did try GPS Status, nothing....
Did a fresh rom install and wipe everything i can wipe.. nothing not working.
now i want to know is there a tool or adb option to test the hardware if this is still working.... (maybe GPS is broken)

Did a RADIO rom flash with the one i already had on my HTC... and problem solved....
Still wondering how it can happen that maybe the radio rom was getting crazy...
had the same problem two days ago, same solution... same no idea for the cause
this kind of strange things was my idea only for windows... suddenly it is not working anymore.. But.. Solve this problem was mutch easier haha
This seems to happen whenever you flash a 2.1 ROM. Even going back to 1.5 doesn't fix the problem and a new radio flash is required.

Every now and then manufacturers like HTC will release an update to radio which controls your wifi, data, blutooth. If your current radio is having problems, you will need to update it. Most of the time new radio is included with the update but you can Google individual files as well, hope this explains
my hd2 never connects to gps with all gps programs
i still don't know wether it's a hw or sw problem?

i would suggest a reflash first. if that doeant fix the problem start from scratch ... get the hd2 toolkit (search for it if you dont already have it handy), task 29, reinstal mag/clk (whatever your preference), cwm, and then hyperdroid.
if that doesnt remedy the problem it would have to be a hw problem in my opinion.

thank you for your replay i did all the steps you mentionned but the problem still persists even after flashing a new rom based on android 4 if someone knows about any kind of hw diagnostic programs i doubt a hw problem

I would get GPS Status from the market , go outside on a clear day , download agps data . and then try to get a fix . If you cant get a fix . Then , sadly to say , you MUST flash back to the Stock Windows Mobile ROM that came with the device as that is the ONLY way to rule out any software problem . If it works with winmo on , then its something with android . if it doesnt work with winmo on , then its a hardware error .
