Hi,
mails and sms do not work for me on back screen - message is : "You have no mails/messages".
I think it is because I use Textra for sms and Aquamail for mails.
Can somebody confirm?

did you tried to turn off sms+ from today? I think, in this case, the program is inactive.

look, I have ROM 0426, and I use outlook on today. I have SMS+, but it doesn't hangle sms.
is there a way to stop my emails coming in as sms text messages...
it only happens with some of my emails when i retreive my emails...
and I definetly do not want to pay for them....
any help would be apprecieated..
Are you on tmobile? If so you have to logon to my-tmobile and change the notification settings to not send you an sms.

it was tmobile alert... i unchecked it...
thats also why it was trying to download 120 messages that were not in my inbox .... damn thing

I have this same problem with Cingular blue. My mmode emails are coming in as sms's and i cant reply becasue of it. any ideas?
Does text messaging work with FLEXMAIL? I would send a text message to someone and they would not receive it. Can someone confirm with their FLEXMAIL SMS? I'm using a CINGULAR 8525 with 1000 txt message plan.

Also, does flexmail shows no unread messages on the today screen when there ARE in fact 5 messages un read in multiple accounts... Is there a better mail / message application out there?

Good day everyone! i have a issue regarding receiving SMSmassages on my unit...The factory default SMS application had limited sending capabilities (when after reaching 80kb, message becomes MMS), so i downloaded Handcent SMS messenger. Its works fine,m but the problem is I receive 2x messages from the original SMS messenger and the new downloaded Handcent application, so I have to read twice the same message everytime someone sends me SMS. My question is, how can i make Hancent my default SMS messanger? Or, how can I make it that I receive 1 message feom Hancent application only? I know someone out there with great knowledge of these problem is out there, hpe you can help me! thanx!
Handcent tells you waht to do for notifications, read it and follow the directions not that hard. Go into factory SMS, settings, notifications UN CHECK It, not that hard. READ.
