Does text messaging work with FLEXMAIL? I would send a text message to someone and they would not receive it. Can someone confirm with their FLEXMAIL SMS? I'm using a CINGULAR 8525 with 1000 txt message plan.
same issue here. I try sending txt messages and no one receives it.
using flexmail.
Also, does flexmail shows no unread messages on the today screen when there ARE in fact 5 messages un read in multiple accounts... Is there a better mail / message application out there?

Are you on tmobile? If so you have to logon to my-tmobile and change the notification settings to not send you an sms.

it was tmobile alert... i unchecked it...
thats also why it was trying to download 120 messages that were not in my inbox .... damn thing

i use sms2go (http://www.mobile-cc.ch/mccProdukte/mccSMS2Go/tabid/126/Default.aspx), it's free. this program generates automatically a mail or calendar entry of each sms you receive. so you have all sms stored easily.
i use the mail option, so a received sms will look as follows:
SMS from: who send you the sms
Time: date and time you received the sms
Message: here will be the text of the sms message

Ok, since updating to the new flash and radio. the only things i see different is when i click on the Verizon Wireless icon it does nothing and when i click on unread messages it shows sms/mms, outlook E-mail and setup e-mail. i am fine with it just saying txt, sms and mms. how can i do this please?
my question about the txt messaging. before when you clicked on no unread messages it would show txt messaging, sms and mms. now i don't see txt messaging. how do i txt now?
and when i slide the keypad open or closed it doesn't make the sound. so i went to a site and was going to add a sound in but when it tells you to go into the registry i don't see the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\SlidingSound

Lastley when my wife send me picture msgs i don't get them. only getting txt messages?

sounds like you have several things going on here, and you need to do alot of reading in the Titan Upgrading forum to get your answers
1) your ROM might not have MMS
2) your MMS might not be configured correctly
3) you may need to reinstall your carrier cab
4) you may need the newest Archsoft MMS cab
in threaded SMS, all your messaging, whether it is text or picture, will be in the same message dialog. picture messages will show up in the threaded SMS as just a little picture icon, which you can click on to view the picture.
if your wife sends you a (nude) picture and NOTHING happens on your phone, you have no MMS at all (currently). if your wife sends you a (sexy) picture and you receive some kind of error, you have MMS but it is not configured correctly, and you need to change your MDN key to your 10 digit phone number. if your wife sends you a (dirty) picture and you receive it in your threaded SMS, forward it to ME!
So I have an interesting problem.
When I get email texts I get duplicates. Looking at the Verizon bill details the message is only sent once.
So when someone sends me a text to me via [email protected] I get a duplicate. All other text messages are fine.
This is happening on both the default message application an also Handcent.

mails and sms do not work for me on back screen - message is : "You have no mails/messages".
I think it is because I use Textra for sms and Aquamail for mails.
Can somebody confirm?
