Need help un-rooting Gingerbreak!

Works great for my DX, however, I need to un-root it and I've tried several ways from other forums and I am not having any luck.
Does anyone know the procedure to un-root for GingerBreak?
I don't have Gingerbread installed either, I'm just running 2.2.1 - I don't know if this makes a difference when trying to un-root this. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. I've been scouring trying to find a solution and I've had no luck yet. I've tried rooting then unrooting when the one-click program and that isn't helping me either. Any suggestions??
(If you're wondering I have no idea why I chose this way to root especially since I didn't have Gingerbread installed)
if you cant find a different way, doing an sbf and a factory reset will take you back to stock, unrooted, out of the box state.
If you install z4root, it should detect that you are rooted and give you the option to unroot. Have you tried that? And jw, why do you want to unroot?

Click to collapse
z4root uses a different exploit then gingerbreak, so it will not be able to undo it.

Recover Old Snapchats?

I wanted to look into the possibility of recovering old/expired snapchats, and I was wondering if any of you have knowledge of this. If you do, do you mind giving me instructions on how to do it?
My phone is currently not rooted, but if need be, I will root it.
Thanks!

Exploit possibility for H91810Q

Because I never rooted my H918 and the replacement from T-Mobile insurance for bootloop issue came with H91810Q already installed, I have been looking for a way to possibly gain root access. Because an exploit will be needed for now, though there is some interesting looking work with modifying LG UP, I found this:
http://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerabi...r-2017/opec-1/Linux-Linux-Kernel-3.18.31.html
I'm not as familiar with coding or exploits as I would like to be, and not sure if I understand if this will give the necessary access but thought I would share for those that DO know and might point me in the right direction or explain if this would work or why it would not.
The exploit you are referring to is Blueborne. That doesn't help us. It is a bluetooth exploit that gains access to the phone. It allows the exploiter control over your phone, as in a thief who steals your phone now has control over it. That doesn't mean the thief could root it. Unless it's a dev on xda, but so far none have done it.
The dirty cow exploit no longer works after 10j firmware and since you can't roll back from 10q, no TWRP, no root.

any debloat method that doesnt need root?

so since Huawei doesn't allow bootloader unlocks anymore I was wondering if there's some way I can debloat this phone. that's really one of the only reasons I would choose to root it anyway as I don't really have an issue with emui.
