Huawei P8 Lite Im in troubles. - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All.
Thank you in advance for your kind help.
I live in Spain, I bought a Huawei P8 Lite in special offer during black friday.
I managed to Unlock bootloader, Flash Twrp and Install SuperSu.
So far everything was good but after having installed SuperSu the phone was getting stucked on Huawei Logo after bootanimation.
I did a full wipe with TWRP. I wiped everything (dalvik cache system data cust) etc...
I guess it was easy to install a new stock rom but.........
I was wrong. Stock Rom are .APP and not flashable with TWRP.
I do not know what to do now my phone only recovers with TWRP but nothing is installed.
I'm stupid I did not backup anything.
My mobile is Huawei P8 Lite. ALE L21 FCC ID QISALE L21
I dont know what to do please I would be very thankfull if you could help me!
Thank you

You need to extract recovery.img from UPDATE.APP using this program on pc.
Link: https://goo.gl/aSMU9M
After that go in fastboot and rescue mode and connect it to your pc.
On minimal adb and fastboot window type
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After this you can either flash stock rom by sdcard upgrade or fastboot.
I personally recommend sdcard upgrade.
Put dload folder in sdcard root directory and turn on your phone by holding all buttons for several seconds. After that wait at least 20 minutes for phone to upgrade.

P8 Lite boot loop

Right so I went and unlocked the bootloader thingy, then I went and attempted to install TWRP 3.0.2, that didn't work for some reason, every time I'd try to get in it, it would just restart the phone, or turn it off. Then I was suggested to flash a 3.0.2. cherry version TWRP (or something along those lines) and the phone won't boot after that. I snooped around a bit and found the unbricking tutorial, flashed the 4 .img files I needed successfully it said, BUT, it's stuck on Huawei logo, it won't go past that no matter what. Also there's no TWRP, and Huawei eRecovery can't download the new version, it says ''Getting package info failed''. I didn't wipe any cache or data though, before or after flashing/booting, so.. And I don't know if I can wipe data and cache via adb/fastboot thing, so I didn't attempt that either.. If anyone knows how to solve this, please help

Can't do that since holding Volume up + down and power button does nothing.. I tried flashing the firmware you posted that's now deleted but it won't flash system.img
EDIT: Yeah never mind any of this, I downloaded official 6.0 firmware and flashed it, this time it DID work. After reboot it went into EMUI screen for optimizing system etc, can close thread, thanks for advices

P9 lite L21 nougat bricked

Hey guys, so I hope someone can give me a hint at what I'm doing wrong. I have a Huawei P9 lite, single sim L21 version. I updated it to nougat, then installed revolution twrp, and I suppose at some time I did a wipe, or something, but anyways I have no OS on my phone.
After that, I can't get anywhere. The only options I can access are the fastboot and the revolution recovery, which would've been enough, but I can't install any ROMs. Like literally any, I can't install my old firmware, I can't install Nougat, I get errors using sideload, errors using DLOAD method from SD, not flashing system.img, boot.img etc from fastboot.
I did the rollback thing, including flashing the oeminfo in that guide. Still no solution.
Any suggestions are more than welcome, including words like "you should've known better"

lock your bootloader and make a folder called dload inside of your sd card whitin the update.app try like that.
But......be sure you flash the good frimware ortherwise you'll end up like me blackscreen,
Nope. Did not work. Not compatible. BTW, when I'm in revolution recovery it constantly says it cant mount vendor. Any ideas?
Btw thank you so much for answering!

[Q] Stuck on custom rom, sim not working, want to go to stock

Hi, I have tried all night to install a custom rom and recovery for my huawei p9 lite (VNS-L21).
I've managed to flash Ressurection Remix with Meticulus' TWRP but now my sim card doesn't work.
It's detected but i can't make calls, send messages or use data.
I want to go back to stock EMUI but i don't know how exactly. I've found an update.app for my model but it won't install. I've lost my recovery and i can't flash a new one despite the bootloader being unlocked. Can anyone help me please or guide me how to restore it back to it's original state?
If it helps it was the VIP mobile Serbia model, CM-hi6250.
Thanks in advance, I really want to just have a working phone

If you lost Twrp you must flash it via fastboot command. After that it is neccesary to flash Oem C432 zip. In that step you can chose if you want oem for single or dual sim. I suggest to flash Oem C432 dual sim using TWRP.. On SD card you need to place in dload folder firmware full b160 in format update.app. When the Oem is flashed turn off phone (please dont let to reboot phone after flashing of oem ) , press power+volume up+ volume down, hold them a few seconds after you see logo screen, release buttons and full revovery will start. Oem L21C432 dual sim flashable zip file you can find here or in our local forum on benchmark.
All the best.

i had this problem too cause i was not attentive...
Create a dload folder in your sd card and search for an "update.app" file that is right for your device. Place it in the dload folder then press power button+ volume up+volume down to do a force stock ROM installment after install remove sdcard enter stock recovery make a wipe...restart done
Tell me if it works<3

soft briced p10 lite, Help Please..

Hi
I got my self in quite a pickle here..
so advice or help is very welcomed.
I own a Huawei P10 lite,
with a software version WAS-LX1AC900B049
First off I unlocked the phone, then flashed TWRP recovery, and thus far everything was ok
I wanted to install Lineage 14.1 OS, and I failed because my version of the phone is not supported..
but during attempt installation of Lineage OS , I deleted data, system, dalvik, and cashe..
I did not make a backup!!! (major mistake, I know..)
so effectively I deleted my OS :-/ ..
but it isn’t over jet..
because I could not find a stock rom, namely WAS-LX1AC900B049 version
I thought of debranding my phone to Orange, namely WAS-LX1AC109B110 because stock roms for Orange are available on the net.
so.. using TWRP I replaced oeminfo file..
(this time making a backup of oeminfo)
but once I downloaded Orange stock rom, put it on the
sdcard in /dload folder and entered download mode on the phone, nothing happened, update failed
but.. also changing oeminfo resets the system so I guess that turned off USB debugging..
so now the TWRP is not available because of the system reset, and in the fastboot and rescue mode , adb program from Windows, does not detect device..
so..
it seems I have 3 options..
1. somehow install Orange stock rom
2. make fastboot and rescue mode to work properly so I can reinstall TWRP and go further from there
3. find original stock rom WAS-LX1AC900B049, may be it will work
by the way erecovery does not work, it conects to the wifi, starts serching, and then fails
Help please..
I unbricked the phone
for anyone interested I used adb to unlock the phone in fastboot and rescue mode..
the phone was showing me a message that it was unlocked but it was not
once unlocked previously installed TWRP booted immediately, so from there I installed Lineage 14.1 by HassanMirza01 and it works great
Happy that you fixed your problem but how did adb detected your device as you mentioned it didn't at the first place?
Planning on going back to stock and I think the same trouble would happen for me too.
oH MY GOD!
