Right so I went and unlocked the bootloader thingy, then I went and attempted to install TWRP 3.0.2, that didn't work for some reason, every time I'd try to get in it, it would just restart the phone, or turn it off. Then I was suggested to flash a 3.0.2. cherry version TWRP (or something along those lines) and the phone won't boot after that. I snooped around a bit and found the unbricking tutorial, flashed the 4 .img files I needed successfully it said, BUT, it's stuck on Huawei logo, it won't go past that no matter what. Also there's no TWRP, and Huawei eRecovery can't download the new version, it says ''Getting package info failed''. I didn't wipe any cache or data though, before or after flashing/booting, so.. And I don't know if I can wipe data and cache via adb/fastboot thing, so I didn't attempt that either.. If anyone knows how to solve this, please help

Can't do that since holding Volume up + down and power button does nothing.. I tried flashing the firmware you posted that's now deleted but it won't flash system.img
EDIT: Yeah never mind any of this, I downloaded official 6.0 firmware and flashed it, this time it DID work. After reboot it went into EMUI screen for optimizing system etc, can close thread, thanks for advices

I'm at my wits end here. I copied the contents the emoji zip from https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/get-android-nougats-all-new-emojis-right-now-0170328/ for Android N emojis on my L02 (Telstra Australia variant ALE-L52) on 5.0.1 into my system folder and caused it to bootloop, then I got TWRP installed and actually flashed it which let it boot but with a different font and Messaging and Phone among other things weren't working. So I reflashed with 5.1 variants of those files in that zip and flashed a 6.0 stock recovery and did a factory reset and now it won't even let me log in to a Google account so I can restore my app backups which means I'm locked out of several apps I need authenticators for.
Is there anywhere I can download the full image for ALE-L02C451B280? I have access to a second device but I do not want to void the warranty on that by unlocking the bootloader and replacing the recovery just to fix my phone, so is there a way to create a flashable backup of the system without root or an unlocked bootloader
Edit: Great, flashed the official 6.0 image like suggested in the updating thread and now it won't even get past the bootloader, can't even boot to fastboot or recovery. It's officially f**ked
Well, if you can't boot to bootloader/fastboot to install TWRP, repair the phone then your phone is kinda bricked
I see the same symptoms as mine
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/help/help-bricked-p8-lite-t3522136
Any new suggestions?
What does your bootloader say? Enter it and unpack the UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor. Then flash System, cust, boot and mybe recovery with fastboot.

I ended up fixing it by doing a nandroid backup of another L02 running the original Telstra firmware and restored that, fixed it with a few minor bugs (gave me the Balong bug, so I can't even download any Huawei apps anymore, and I can't disable the stock music app for some reason, and the lock screen is weird, I can't swipe to unlock anywhere it has to be from the circle in the middle). I've just given up hope that I can get the official 6.0 on my L02
Hello fellows. I am in a deep sh&*. Maybe someone can help.
I have a p10+ L09 converted to L29, rooted, bootloader unlocked. It was on rooted stock rom. Yesterday, tried to make the update, and something went wrong. Now, I can't install any rom exept future rom or something found here. I've tried rayglobe knife, Huawei multi tool, eRecovery, dload, and no way to install an official rom. I am barely able to install twrp, format data, and install future rom before rebooting.
Tried to extract boot, cust, system from the original rom, but it says finished and bootloop just after the unlocked message. On latest versions, I cant even find them in the update.app..
Any help, any downloadable file or link is really appreciated. Please help...

What error/behaviour are you getting from erecovery?
Plop
Hello mate. Thanks for your time.
ERecovery crash everytime at 5%. If I try to download via erecovery, it doesn't download.
I've tried to extract the files from update. App, and inject them via fastboot. It goes to the end of the operation, but once rebooted, it bootloop before the Huawei logo..
I don't understand what happens.. It's like if the phone don't want the original firmware anymore..
If you have any files to propose me, I really want to try tonight...
Can you somehow recover your original oeminfo with TWRP and retry erecovery? That's how I got out of a similar situation, although I can't say for sure whether I really had the same root cause.
Hmm not sure that the oem info is ok or corrupted...
That's what I am affraid of..
I will try in a moment to see..
If it's corrupted, that means the phone is dead?
In that case you could try funkyhuawei, they provide their own oeminfo and erecovery connection. They do cost money though.
May I ask what makes you want to go away from the fromfuture ROM?
This... Android 5.1, emui 3.1
I don't know if iam becoming stupid with age, but can't find any more recent... And with the kids yelling on my back.... Lol
Well, I found a recent rom from future. Had some troubles with Android locking magisk, but now it's working ( update magisk before putting your Gmail account and restore). For now it's working fine. Just had a few freezes here and there but since this morning it's going fine. I think I'll stay with it for now.
Thanks for the people who tried to help me.

I folowed this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/nova-plus/development/rom-aospextended-v4-6-t3717372 and all flashing was fine. Due to some inconveniences of this new flashed rom i decided to restore to default rom. I extracted recovery and update.app version Can-L11 B396 i think from firmware finder and flased with adb this recovery. After that, it asked me to do an factory reset, i did it, but it wont boot any of huawei or Aosp Extended. The main problem i have is i can`t acces any more my phone with adb terminal, maybe after flashing the new original recovery usb debbuging reverted to un-enabled. How can I do now? Thanks in advance.

You need to install the other zip too which has the word "data_full" at zip's name or something like that.
EDIT: @campeadore, i suggest you to edit the thread name and add "[SOLVED]" at begin and write the way you've fixed your phone (the solution), so it'll help other people who might run into the same problem as you.
I`ll do it as soon i fully resolve the problem. I followed your link and everything went fine at step 1 (Go back to EMUI 4.1 (MM). System is booting, but system update is not working. So, i want to flash EMUI 5, but can-l11c432b330 or can-l11c432b396 cant be updated, around 45% gives an error. The only version who work is can-l11c432b320 but i dont have update_full_CAN-L11_hw_eu, only the first update.zip.

Newer / newest firmware downloaded from Firmware Finder needs to be approved by Huawei and that can take some time. It's failing to install because it wasn't approved. I've read this in past somewhere.
Try B381 or B382 as i've always installed that one when i've went back to EMUI 5.
Yes, i did it now with can-l11c432b330. I think my mistake was trying to flash to EMUI5 with usb cable connected. With cable off all went fine like a charm. Now i do all approved updates with system update. Thank you so much man, really appreciated.
Seeking help: I have a smartphone huawei nova lite plus (TRT LX1) that fails to restart. It goes continuously in a loop. Entering recovery only the first 2 functions come out: wipe wash factory reset and wipe wash partition. Then using eRecovery from PC with the USB cable, proceed up to a certain point and then not continue. I think it's in soft brick. I definitely need the right software for flashing, stock roms and usb drivers. Where can I find them? Many thanks
Hello, it is my first post on this forum and it of course has to be problem. I am not expert in mobile phone hacking/flashing and this issue is too big for me to handle.
So like 6 hours ago i had working p8lite L21 with official android 6.0 and locked bootloader. I really wanted install costum rom due to performance issue, so i downgrade it back to 5.0 lolipop, than I root it with kingroot and successful extract key and unlock it using this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=4627
Than I flash recovery and install TWRP 3.0.2-0 and it all just worked. I was so happy that i manage to pull this off and I forgot that now i have EMUI 3.1 (ALE-L21C432B170) and i flashed phone with this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-p8-lite-t3824247
Of course it bricked because I missed that part with special version of TWRP. After that i tried to install something older just to get phone to work again:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-ale-l21-t3708835
And surprise, surprise, it did not work either and now I am stuck with huawei boot logo.
I did some research how to fix this issue, but i found so many different problems and solutions, I thought that at this point I really should ask for help because I just have no idea what i am doing now At this stage, can i just flash some costum rom (idc what exactly, just wanna to be lightweight) or i have to somehow restore original firmware? And if so how to do it? As i mentioned, i had access to TWRP.
Thanks a lot for your help in advance.
can someone help me with unbricking this phone? ?
@edit ok nevermind, i thought that this phone is cheap anyways so why not risk and just flashed boot/recovery/system from stock rom with fastboot. I did it and it works again, i needed just this simple hint to do it but i guess p8lite forum is dead.

I believe I can help you... Check the First Comment of that post... you'll see two additional firmwares... Only those firmwares have EMUI 4.1... b896 is for dual sim and b895 is for single sim... use any of those as per your requirements... after that download the LineageOS firmware and then proceed as per the Thread's recommended way... Also, before installing LineageOS, make sure you don't have any lockscreen lock...
feel free to ask if you have any more questions...

Which one are you trying to flash??? b896?? or simply LineageOS??
If it's b896, then I did read that it can only be flashed on ALE-L21C02xxx, but i am unsure about it... I did installed LineageOS and Resurrection Remix back in the days but I don't think I ever used C02 ROM for B896...
Also if you have the latest TWRP, you can simply flash with it... Try it...

Hello,
In a late-night act of utter stupidity, when over-tired, I re-flashed the boot recovery with TWRP and bricked my M3. It obviously can't now enter boot recovery.
I've used TWRP and successfully re-flashed custom roms on my original Mate, and changed regions. (Not in any way an expert, I know how to follow instructions.)
I was trying to convert my Chinese (I was living there) ROM to UK. It's tricky nowadays.
This was a stupid error when tired. Any way back?
I read somewhere that people with the right hardware can do it, but finding someone. I'm in Leeds, UK.
The pad does (did) what I need, and I'm not in a position to buy a new one. If it's dead, it's dead; and I can move on.
Cheers in advance for any input.
SOLVED
See my last post on this thread.
After using Multi Tool V8 to enquire into the machine I switched off and rebooted.
It came back with a "Wipe cache" and "Reset to factory settings" Huawei screen, so I did both and - It booted!
It had spectacularly failed to do anything but boot-loop since coming out of a very dead battery yesterday.
1) Boot recovery, OTA recovery, and dload recovery from SD were all unavailable after the original overwriting of the bootloader.
2) After being dead for months, all recovery options booted from power button plus vol- Vol+ and Vol+/- - but still bootlooping.
Then, suddenly it booted into wipe cache/factory reset screen.
Android 7, EMUI 5.1.3
I have no idea why.
Now fully working. (Including restarting)
I fell in a similar situation after having flashed a magisk module .. unfortunately my nandroid backup didn't restore my devices, but I was able to enter in twrp recovery.. so,..
if you can boot in twrp recovery, not all hopes are lost..
first of all, you must download a stock firmware for your device (i suggest to download trough huawei firmware finder: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146/amp/)
You must download a fullota version of stock firmware
then, you can flash this firmware (3 zip files) trough hurupdater via twrp recovery: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho...lash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279/amp/
in order to not overwrite twrp recovery, put the twrp.img file in the same folder and rename it to recovery.img
you can find more info in this topic (follow the instructions, in particular those on how to use hurupdater): https://forum.xda-developers.com/me...ting-btv-dl09-to-unapproved-firmware-t3817541
in order to find a firmware suitable to your device, try to find info on it: you have a mediapad m3 European? American? asian? just wifi or also 4G-LTE (whit a sim and phone functions)? lite or normal version? 10 inches or 8.4?
everyone of these devices have different codenames and suitable firmwares
I found exact firmware for my devices with the procedure described here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77241673&postcount=3
.. but, if you flashed a wrong firmware, i really don't know if it might help you..
anyway, i wish the info above could help you.

Well...
After being without power for so long I turned the tablet on and it booted!
However, it then went into OTA and updated - rebooted - and locked the damned bootloader.
1) It's showing as rooted.
2) Boot loader is locked.
3) Fastboot & rescue mode comes up.
4) Recovery (OTA) still comes up but "Fails" this time.
I don't recall how I unlocked it last time. I don't ever rememebr an unlock code.
Status:
Fastboot reports it exists.
ADB reports "Null" not found. (ADB drivers installed).
Firmware version: CPN-AL00C233B078
Device name: CPN-AL00
Serial Number: Showing
IMEI: Showing
Bootloader state: LOCK
I have an old TWRP backup - don't know how to use it.
Solutions?
a) Any kind devs prepared to work with me and find the boot unlocker code for this 5-year old tablet?
b) Any other solutions now we know what's what?
I'm self employed without income in this pandemic and can't really afford to buy a new tablet. If I have to, it won't be Huawei.
(There's a T3 10.6" at £89, but I'm not biting - I need to sort out a budget tablet with at least the oomph of the M3.)
Any help much appreciated. :good:
David.
