Can VoLte run on Custom rom??

Hi,
I have installed CM 13 on lenovo k4 note everything is working good..!!
But VoLTE is not there... can we run VoLTE on any custom ROM

Any developer requires Sources from OEM's to develop a custom rom or kernel. MediaTEK did not and wont release the sources for VoLTE. So, there might be no VoLTE in our custom roms.

i haven't tried this ..but will get back to you guys once i try it.

Is volte possible on custom rom like miui and rr? It works on stock eui 5.8. Anyone working on it?

Android N with VoLTE ?

I need a nougat update but with volte support it will be good if I get or if anyone will help me out with that I m having one plus2 device

I'm assuming you want OxygenOS Nougat with VoLTE. That will never happen. Developers cannot mess around with OEM ROMs, that's a fact.
@gtpitch (CarbonROM core developer) is the expert on VoLTE, maybe he'll be able to shed more light on the topic of VoLTE on custom ROMs.

Hmm yup but it would be more better with oxygen nougat plus volte ????

Guys, dont lose hope. Devs on XDA and other people around the world are constantly working on OP2, so nothing is impossible. Think positive and Good Luck

I tried the ROM today was working for me. Did you try the latest beta with November security patch
Worked for me on Jio network (India)

Yes I'm on latest build with Nov security patch.. Still trying to get volte to work. I'm also using jio.
I used blu-spark recovery.. I think I shouldn't have flashed that recovery.

I was on Blu spark recovery too. Do you see volte icon on status bar?
I was on OOS clean flashed and installed Valid and reverted back to oos

Why can't you guys wait patiently for that VoLTE thing to be fixed or submit logs to devs so that can be speeded up?
I think when you keep asking for this all the time it bothers the devs here.

I know that the volte bug is also present in leaked oos beta & that's why it's not working on custom roms. But i read it somewhere that the volte is working on some oreo beta build.. i actually forgot what that thread was so that's why i posted here.

Start using Oreo. What's the difference anyway. Why do people have to be on latest of everything. Most of us users don't even know what's new and what does it mean for us

Bro pie builds are in beta state plss be patient
The dev are working hard to fix the bugs
