first force close your browser/playstore, then clear data and cache....if this fails, try uninstalling updates.

Just as an FYI, i'm pretty sure adblockers could also be causing your problem.
Update : if the above fails, try force closing browser, playstore, play services and google services framework. Clear data on browser, playstore and play services. Reboot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik-cache. Reboot. Downloads should be normal. If all else fails, a factory reset could solve the problem.

The Problem was Adblocker...thank u

Help me plz

Force stop the app. If its an Xposed module, simply deactivate it. Other than that, you can also completely uninstall it.

After Market update, can't download many apps

Recently my hyperdroid gbx Market updated automatically. After the update, I found that many apps I can use before are not able to download now. It always said "Your device is not compatible with this item". Do anyone know if I can revert to the old version of Market?
Thx.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yes, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications -- Find Market, hit Uninstall updates ..
And you'll get your old market back. However, the second you open it, it will close and update itself to the latest.
You have two ways to pass that:
1- Using TB Pro, Freeze Market Updater.
2- Remove MarketUpdater.apk from /system/app/ (of course after making a back up)
Oh, it works.
Thank you very much!!!
tried it , and now getting a diffrent problam

Make sure you have access to internet from different applications.
Also, try clearing the cache from settings and cwm.

Play store error [rpc:s-5:aec-0]

Hello, I recently flashed Cameleon and am having trouble with the playstore. It returns this error when I try to view my apps, TB is unable to restore market links, and I can't even view my apps on the web interface. Can anyone help?
I should add that I've: added a 2nd google account, removed the first, readded the first still no luck
cleared data/cache from play store and google services framework still no luck.

Reinstall it... Fith a file explorer delete it from system/app, find a flaseable .zip of gapps and flash it.
Thanks, I'm going to try the new playstore (4.0) if that doesnt work, I guess I'll reflash. which is the definitive GAPPS?

Have you flashed/installed anything recently that could conflict with the app?
Try wiping the app data in Settings and see where that gets you.
If not try wiping Cache/Dalvik from recovery and if you're still having no luck with it, try a factory reset!
Hope I helped,
Beans
I installed puzzles and dragons, and all of a sudden its been acting up, I wiped cache from recovery, no go
EDIT: I found the cause, it was the update for Chrome
I personally would just delete it from
•Data/app
•System/app
•System/priv-app

Using a root file manager (depending on where you have it installed), and re-installing it from the Play Store.
You could also try uninstalling the puzzles and dragons app and see if that gives you anything

Glad you found your bug @danthepan !

SO SORRY, but it wasn't fixed (((
No worries!
Try using a file explorer such as Astro or ES File Explorer (Or Root Explorer if you're willing to pay, totally worth it though bought 2 years ago on sale and haven't needed another file manager since) to go into
Data/app
System/app
System/priv-app

to locate the quicksearch apk file and delete it, then just re-install it from the Play Store!
If you're still experiencing FC's after that the only other suggestion I can give without knowing the actual cause of them is to do a Factory reset (Data, Cache, Dalvik)!
Beans
for some reason I can't find that quick search app?
All i did so far was uninstall updates to Chome and Google, so far so good! will update again if it fails

You should be able to remove all apart from Google play services, framework.
For some reason it doesn't work for me. For example, if I remove Chrome, Facebook messenger breaks, relay for reddit won't start. This is really strange?
I'm using ES file Explorer to remove apps. Titanium says it has deleted but apps are still there after restart.
Any ideas? @callumbr1
Thanks

Hmmm strange. You should just be able to remove chrome as normal and just remove apk.
I would suggest remove the apps you don't want. Then boot to recovery and wipe cache. Then reboot. This should fix and apps breaking/crashing.
Im rooted and using costum rom i did uninstall all google apps even google framework because i had errors with google apps and i did reinstall gapps but i still get ssl network errors...

Right, I finally figured out what the issue was - it was the webviewer implementation, so when removed system chrome, had to defrost android webview and select it to handle webviews. Problem was gone since!

[Max pro m2]Google play store is just shows downloading but not downloading anything

Whenever i click the install button google play store just shows downloading but not downloading anything its just loading forever , i have cleared data uninstall updates tried everything. Any solution?
Don't forget to apply the same treatment to play services. Try to deactivate adblocker, or switch to other adblocker.

Go to Settings, Apps, Show System, then clear cache for Downloads and Download Manager, make sure to secure downloaded files just to be safe.
Clearing cache and data of play services
And restarting device may work
It worked for me atleast
