Hi
Have you had any luck with this cause even i am having a problem with my camera and was looking for the original camera.apk
Thanks in advance.
I have problems with my camera, caused by erase e-mail apk... I restore my rom and solve it
I had the force close, too. I noticed that I was able to open the settings window after switching to video (screen still black). Under quality, chose the second option from above (label "High"). With this setting, the black screen vanishes and the actual picture is shown.
Can someone please explain why i am getting these patches on all pictures that i take. I am able to see it when i am using the camera app as well; although if i zoom the patch disappears.
I have checked that it's not an issue with the screen by opening a white background pic, also checked that the camera glass is clean.

It appears to be a smudge or something on the camera lenses or the sensor. As an experiment, take a pic with the other side camera and see if it's there.
Assuming you didn't break or crack something to allow dust in, I would think Google will exchange it.
Hello everybody,
is there anyway on the J5 PRO (2017) to use that front flash to behave as a led notification, i know there is option to use the back flash but it only flashes one time when something comes but no more than that,
so i'd like to know if there is any method ( without 3rd party app ) just like modifying build.prop or something like that to make the front flash act like a notification led, because i dont like the way that notifications come and you don't see them when screen is off
ps : i know there is a way to use AOD but it drains battery i prefer led notification to flash sometimes it's better

Anyone know how to fix black screen camera from app. There is app called Gojek in Indonesia is like Uber or Grab. In gojek there is face verification everytime we log in but when I'm login the face verification pop out only black but if I open camera app there is no problem with front camera.
Gcam ports are known to have issues when used by external apps. Try using default camera for other apps.
