Hi, can anyone sent me the stock camera apk as my camera will force close when i switch to video recording mode thanks !
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Hi
Have you had any luck with this cause even i am having a problem with my camera and was looking for the original camera.apk
Thanks in advance.
I have problems with my camera, caused by erase e-mail apk... I restore my rom and solve it
I had the force close, too. I noticed that I was able to open the settings window after switching to video (screen still black). Under quality, chose the second option from above (label "High"). With this setting, the black screen vanishes and the actual picture is shown.

Hello,
Recently I did a clean install of XenonHD 4.2.2 ROM,
I have an issue with the Gallery / Camera,
When I take a picture in portrait mode , then swipe to the left to see the picture on the gallery , It shows in landscape mode so I need to rotate manually,
The Auto Rotate is active on the phone,
Any ideas what could be the reason?
Thanks,
Does that happen with every single photo you take? If you're not holding the phone straight, then it's probably switching orientation, but that's not easily noticable from the camera app if you're just trying to take a quick shot.
Yes , with every picture,
Maybe I need to wipe and re-install the ROM and see what happens,
MY N4 works well with the same ROM , my Bro N4 has this issue,
Does anybody else have issue with gallery when you are watching picture? Upper panel and bottom panel which contains pictures preview dont hide st all.. Not automatically and not even when i tap picture..
I have tried to clear cache by gallery, clear or informations etc. After factory reset itbworked like normal but little bit later samething. Is problem causing some apps which i have disabled or what? Tried with different firmware versions too..
I solved it myself.. It has something to do with Accessibility menu. Example I'm using Light flow and i need to turn it on in Accessibility menu, then that problem exist... It's really annoying because I'm using Light Flow and I love that app, but I also like gallety app and any 3rd party gallery apps in Play store have bad quality on this phone...
So something I've noticed is that when using Hangouts for MMS and I try to take and send a portrait shot photo with the stock Samsung camera app.....it appears to work fine on my end...but everyone ends up receiving a photo that has been rotated 90 degrees left. Only seems to do this with the stock camera app - if I switch to using Vignette for the camera app - portrait shots are sent correctly.
Landscape shots work either way regardless....
anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing its a problem with the stock camera app (be it code or a setting or something I'm missing)
Hi,
I have some photos on my phone that were not taken with my S5 and am finding that when I go to view them with the Gallery app that it is adjusting the color (and not in a good way). The app will momentarily show the proper color when opening the pic and closing it but will kind of whiten it when viewing. The pics look normal using quickpic and the google photos app. Just wondering if anyone else has this happening and if there is any way of turning it off before I try clearing the data for the Gallery app etc.
Thanks!

Hello,
It's not actually modifying the photo, it is using a Samsung technology to change the colors being displayed on the screen only. You can change your preference (but it appears not shut it off) by going into your Settings, then Display, then 'Screen mode'. But again, your photos aren't modified.

Thanks for your help. I did realize that it wasn't actually modifying the photos, I just really didn't like how it made the pictures look. You were totally right with your solution, I changed the display mode to Standard and it works properly now. I was using Adapt Display because I wanted the best sunlight legibility/brightness possible and everything had looked great until I noticed this issue. Thanks!
