Hi I have a little problem I wanted through FlashFire install new updates FlashFire unfortunately I got stuck, and now I can run the phone still did it triggers TWRP could someone please help me how to fix it, thank you. Asus ze500kl Z00ED
I did not have no backups ... starts with just TWRP
Just follow these steps
1. Download the official lollipop firmware for ur phone from the Asus website
2. Remove ur Sd card and either put it in another phone or an sd card reader
3. Connect the device or the reader to the computer and transfer the firmware to it
4. Put the sd card back in the original phone and boot to twrp
5. Go to install and then select storage as micro sd
6. Select the firmware ( it will be in a zip format)and flash it.
7. Then reboot should be good as new.
You'll have to unlock the boot loader again and root it again as well

You need to add the platform-tools folder to your path.
Open up CMD, and type this...
Code:
set PATH=%PATH%;C:\adt-bundle-windows-x86-20131030\sdk\platform-tools
The name of the main folder for Android may change, but mine is adt-bundle-windows-x86-20131030.
This should get you going.
Fire up CMD again, and type "adb". If you see a string of text scroll through, you are golden.
If you need more help let us know.
Have fun! :good:
This is what happens.

what are the contents of your Android folder?

I'm sorry man, that command we are using only allows it until you close CMD.
This will set you straight.

Thanks dude. Will try when I get out of school. Will post back information if it works. Thanks again.
Take the conents of the platform-tools folder and drop them all in c:/windows/system32 folder and then you can run adb and fastboot from anywhere
Hello. This is my first post on this forum so please correct me should i post this in the wrong cathegory or use wrong tags etc
I followed the straight-forward guide i find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108
Using the recovery mode on a Samsung S5 i have the option to "Apply update from external storage" and i find the .zip file under this tab and if i try to apply the update i get the following message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've been trying this three times but i get the same error. I tried to search if other experienced the same problems but i found no similar threads.
Fyi this is on a non-rooted S5. It belonged to my grandmother which recently passed away and we are stuck trying to retrieve the photos on the device and this seemed like the best way. If there is any other way to retrieve these photos from a S5 with a pattern lock i will gladly accept any suggestions USB Debugging is obviously turned off on this phone -_-
Thank you!
You need root, a custom recovery and a terminal emulator as it seems to do this. Btw i`am sorry for your grandmother. Best is to flash a custom recovery with Odin, flash the latest superSU.zip in recovery . Reboot and install a terminal emulator from Play and follow the guide. Turn on usb debugging too.

You have this feature already avaible in the stock rom, why would you try another things ? I use the SD Card as the internal storage from the first day i bought this phone. Is working like a charm,everything, and when i say everything i mean EVERYTHING is going on SD Card. Photos,Apps,data/obb,everything. Just go to settings->Advanced settings->Memory-> and set the SD Card as default memory. (Android MM) It s almost the same on LP,the only thing is that you don't have the Advanced settings tab,you find the Memory in the main page.

Isn't that SD Card set as default memory so all the things go into it like it was the internal memory ?

My phone is completely dead when I'm flashing RAW file using ASUS Flash Tool. Cannot do anything except pressing volume down and power to bring it to Cloverviewplus mode.
Flashing it with xFSTK also didn't work.

i'm stuck in file debrick.bat the massage is "isoc detecting device fail #attemp 0
than reconecting -- debrick.bat force close
what the problem?
1. Use the instructions at the link https://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...tboot-t3377455
2. But don't use (3. Dowload and install iSocUSB driver: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7u...etup-1.0.4.exe).
Dowload and install iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.7.0. (because iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.7.0 is the newer than iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.0.4 )
If you dowload and install iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.0.4 in windows 10, you stuck in file debrick.bat the massage is:
isoc detecting device fail #attemp 0
isoc detecting device fail #attemp 1
........
isoc detecting device fail #attemp 19
and close command prompt windows.

You need to check if your PC has received your phone in cloverview mode.
Open Computer Management -> Device Manager - > Intel Soc : CloverviewPlus Device and Intel Soc USB Device.
