Hello Guys, I heard about LG to update the camera apk to 4.3.1 and fix about every problem the camera had.
Some of you received this update?
And if so, where can we find an apk of it?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548974.
Only the Korean versions received this update if I remember right.

Hi,
Yes the one in the link above is modified.
Stock 4.3.1 camera app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525783.
Hey, I'm trying to install these apks but it fails to install... Do I have no choice but to root and flash them? Can't I just install the apks?

I've just got my phone today. I know about the camera issue but I have the original 4.3.1 camera apks/zip file. I tried installing apk but failed... Is there no way to install it? I don't want to root just yet...

You could use adb to push the files , altrough you would have to "semi root"

I tried to install the apk but it failed saying no certificates... What to do?

@xdafoundingmember, I downloaded and tried to sign the apk... However when I tried pushing, it said incosistent certficates.. Since this is a system app, what type of certificates do you need? I've tried the auto but fail fail... grrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
Yea that's true. ... just push it if your rooted

I'm not rooted and don't want to just yet... Does anyone know if this update comes with the D802c update?
+1
Ok I'm going to root but not install custom recovery.. I know you can move the files into system folder using root explorer but where do I move all of the files (apks, libs etc)??
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Would like to no the same?
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
You push apk's into system/app and libs into system/lib but you have to find a way to clear dalvik cache and cache so that when you reboot android system will read all apps and create. dex files for them to work and without custom recovery I don't know if any other app would do without any problems.

REQUEST
LG Gallery and LG File Manager
These applications i think a very successful. I want to use them for CyanogenMod 11.
Possible?
Thanks a lot to everyone..
:fingers-crossed:
I got the file manager working, but again.. Gallery is pain in the @r$e..

I'd love to have the gallery app. It used to show the vr panorama photos perfect. The Kitkat stock one sucks.

Can someone port wireless storage to Cloudypro II (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2680745)
Funny I just uploaded the APK here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2681527
See if it works.
It should be in /system/app
There might be some system UI tweaks to get it into the "Settings" app. Perhaps you can install it and create a custom homescreen shortcut to enable/disable?
Haha that's funny I just had finished doing this and then saw thread. I was running stock KitKat and bad backed up wireless storage with TiBu I restored it on cloudypro and used nova to create a shortcut/activity to it. Seems to be working fine

i dont know what i've done wrong. Shortcut in settings has appeared, like in stock , but it doesnt work. When i try to turn off wireless storage it automatically restarts, so i cant turn it off. And my pc cant go to \\192.168.0.73
I tried to use apk from OptimusRs Pro 2 Rom For LG G2 V3 , but i had the same result

Can you get more detailed, maybe upload your backup files. Is CloudyPro 4.4.2?

I'm actually back just on stock KitKat but all I did was restore the backup from titanium backup of wireless storage from stock KitKat ROM on cloudypro and using nova launcher created a shortcut to it. Enabled it navigated with PC to IP and worked. I can upload the apk if youd like but I imagine its the same as what is already here?

did you actually use it? or just check the menu in setting. if it worked and you used it it would be great to upload you Titaniumbackup file not just the apk
You can found in Play Store dude !
I haven't seen anything in the play store that was remotely close. Most apps use a webpage to act as a file explorer. Can't network share directly.

Holy crap, mate! That is amazing! Thank you so much!
I advise you to post this in the CloudyPro II thread, so that more people can see it. I'm sure that they'll love it.
Thank again!
Cool. Looks good.

I will test it on cloudypro 1.2

unfortunately, it requires root (when wireless storage doesn't)
Could someone tell me how to disable dual window in Cloudy Stock version 2.5? I would prefer the old multi tasking way. I can not find the settings for multi tasking. Thanks in advance!
Sent from my LG-D801 using XDA Free mobile app
I don't have that option. Is there a possibility my settings got corrupted or something? Maybe when I did the Titanium Backup? Is there a settings APK I get from the rom zip and maybe paste that into a system folder or something?
Edit: I pulled the settings APK from the rom zip and put it in the system app folder and set the permissions but still don't have that option. I'm on the D801 VARIANT...
Sent from my LG-D801 using XDA Free mobile app
The only way how to disable it was in the settings like in the help here below. If it doesnt appear then i have no clue since i dont even own the g2
http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/doc-1405470444396-en-LGEAI
Also went into Titanium Backup and froze both the dual window app and multi tasking framework and it still doesn't stop it... Lol geez. I'm doomed...

Go into /system/app, find LGquickRemote.apk and rename it to LGquickRemote.bak. (or uninstall it. I prefer renaming it so if something goes wrong you can restore.)
Then, reboot into recovery and flash the v8 Quick Remote zip in this thread.
That should work.
EDIT: APK is called LGquickremote.apk I think.
Had to delete lgremote.odex also to get it to work or else I got force close .
Thank you very much
