As we mentioned in our recent thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/mate-7-model-worldwide-frequency-bands-t2911154), the availability becomes a major issue in the Chinese market over the past few weeks. The latest news is that, per our HUAWEI connection, HUAWEI cannot fulfill most orders in the next 2-3 weeks. We previously heard from HUAWEI that they were trying to fulfill the initial order (from EU customers who deposited) from Europe first; apparently, this is not the case now.
As of the situation in our 5 stores, we had taken over 30+ full deposits during the last week, and this time our HUAWEI lady told us we can only get 10 units per store per week, per latest HUAWEI policy/instruction/whatever. We were told that, HUAWEI continuously receives massive orders nationwide and the production of this phone is limited to 1 factory only in Guangdong Province. To get one unit immediately in the Chinese market, people are paying over $820 USD now! Even at China Mobile stores, Chine UniCom stores, Mate 7 is OFFICIALLY being sold over MSRP (+400 CNY mark up at least) and there is NO stocks! A major holiday is coming soon, 11 November (1111), the Single's Day in China. The availability issue will at least last till then, trust or not.
Message here for the EU xda community members: put your deposit with reputed online sellers (e.g., Amazon DE, France) NOW and you MAY expect to get one before Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday, maybe!

What a load of BS. Sorry, this is not about this reseller, they're just reporting the absolute craptastic behavior of Huawei. How can a company announce a device and not have any stock a month later? I keep seeing they're still GIVING AWAY devices to journalists yet have no stock for their customers. It adds insult to injury about how bad this company does business. The Nexus 6 is looking better and better every day, PLUS, given what they just announced with not offering Kitkat for AM2, how likely is it going to be that they'll abandon this device as well 6 months down the road? They've already abandoned who knows how many users who have been waiting for a device until it is released.
I'm giving up. I'm looking at the other carriers' offerings. After all, the holiday season is when a lot of carriers release their newest devices. I don't get why Huawei can't seem to get their collective heads out of a certain orifice and actually decide if they want to move out of the #3 spot?

That is the shipment we talked about. Grab one as soon as you can. L09 is a single-Sim version though. If you need dual-Sim black version, it (TL00) is available in China.
Huawei announced general availability for the Ascend Mate 7 in Germany starting today. Recommended selling price is 499€ incl. taxes. You can choose between silver and black versions, both 16GB.
It would be good to know which firmware is preinstalled, since MT7-L09V100R001C00B120SP04 from earlier this month is still a bit buggy.
I have to agree wholeheartedly with sanjsrik. I'm done researching and considering this phone. Huawei, get your **** together.
Unsubscribing from this forum, good luck everyone ☺
mine was sent out day. maybe i get it tomorrow. paid for it 450€ (italy)
i go to my post office tomorrow to pickup mine, i'm not at my home when it come today.

ZTE UK on their twitter page have said they are looking at a Q4 launch for the Axon 7 that's silly why release it 3-6 months later than everywhere else will be out dated was looking forward to front facing speakers will have to get the one plus 3 now.
That's a pity, makes you wonder if it's going to be released late in the US as well...
Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
hope it doesn't indicate slightly differing versions for different markets, that would be a pain. the dual SIM thing will turn many networks off the idea of touching the phone. a non dual SIM version could be a possible reason behind a delayed launch. maybe you could ask them @OP...
let's hope that's not the case as it'll screw up development
Unfortunatly I don't have a twitter account but they seem pretty dead set on a q4 launch probably get the one plus 3 now but just put off by the 1080p screen
how many months after buying the opo will you be kicking yourself for it and thinking I should have waited ?
A q4 release will moan note 6 and new nexus which will be newer phones
Yeah im gonna buy opo3 or note7, **** zte tbh, this is not the way to release new phones in 2016.

I'll give them the benefit of doubt that they're fixing known issues with the phone and are perhaps polishing the software before releasing it to the western market.
It's being released in us by the end of July us is the western market why delay it even further for UK
I'll be in the US in July and hopefully the phone will be out by mid July otherwise I'll get a nexus 6p.

Now they have replied to multiple tweets that they are looking to release it at the end of the year, and that the wait will be worth it. Almost year later to Europe, are you fcking joking me? Axon 7 might still be good phone at that time, but i will certainly buy something else.
End of the year this is surely a joke.
So when is us release?

I'm doubting it, ZTE France tweeted it would be available very soon... End of year isn't 'soon' and I think ZTE wouldn't make such a huge marketing mistake. Would really like to see your source for those tweets... looked for them and they are nowhere to be found...

Wow, that will surely hurt their sales immensely. I'm one of many there are on the fence between the Axon 7 and the OnePlus 3, I'm sure. Seeing as they are at similar price points, and seeing as people won't wait for their tech to be obsolete even before it comes out, many will choose the OnePlus over the Axon 7 if they choose to release it this late.
Asked ZTE France in the tweet linked below : " When will the axon 7 get officially released in France, ZTE UK said about end of the year for Europe... is that true? " they answered very quickly that the official release date will be announced very soon. https://twitter.com/ZTE_FR/status/745193441517273088
The thing is that their twitter is full of teasers and countdowns ( look here https://twitter.com/ZTE_FR/status/745193441517273088 )
And I can't believe that it would be released in France and not in the UK... maybe be a bit more patient guys, I'd say wait until July at least
I want to say that official announcement date will be 28 june 2016 !
7 days from now as an official tweet says "[J-7]" (D-7 in english) !

No, never bought a ZTE device before... If availability is the same i think i'd buy in France since the support from reseller would be easier as a french speaking person. But i've bought smartphones from the UK and never had any issues . In the end, it doens't make any differences about the device !
Yeah me too... I really need a new smartphone since my Find 7 can't charge anymore and i need to charge the battery out of the phone...
Came across this today
http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/1...ce-pixel-phones-us-division-badly-struggling/
According to a source familiar with Huawei's operations, the Chinese smartphone and telecoms giant's device division has been having a very difficult time attempting to break into the fickle US market. Not only that, but rumors that Huawei was pegged as the manufacturer of Google's 2016 smartphone portfolio were, at one point, true: negotiations between Huawei and Google broke down when the latter demanded no partner logos be on its new smartphones. But the drama runs even deeper than that, if our source is to be believed, starting with the Nexus program.
In 2015, Huawei entered into a partnership with Google to produce the Nexus 6P. You may have noticed the 5X and 6P were announced and marketed a bit more boldly than previous Nexus smartphones. They had special warranties, fairly large advertising campaigns (for Nexus devices), and Google even offered device financing for them on its Project Fi MVNO. I had taken this, in light of revelations about the upcoming Pixel phones, to mean that the 5X and 6P were something of a ramp-up to the more fully-developed Pixel project. A market test of sorts. Our source, however, says that Huawei and Google's partnership on the Nexus 6P was never fully realized, and that it was actually far more ambitious than what we ended up with.
Initially, Google allegedly sold Huawei on the idea that the Nexus 6P would be stocked and sold by all four major US carriers. It was Huawei's big chance to finally be on store shelves in a huge number of retailers across the United States, and no doubt was a major reason they were so invested in the project. In particular, Huawei wanted its smartphones on Verizon - it's not exactly clear why, apart from the obvious (Verizon is the largest or 2nd largest US carrier, depending on the quarter). Google and Huawei would also embark on a massive, multi-hundred-million dollar ad campaign for the Nexus 6P, with an agreement that each company would match the advertising dollars the other was willing to invest. But that never happened.
Talks between Google and the carriers broke down (surprise!). The Nexus 6P and 5X were never sold by any major US network operator. In the end, Google demanded Google Store near-exclusivity in the US for the phones for a fixed period before allowing them to be sold on channels like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H, limiting the devices' retail visibility. Huawei was, perhaps as a concession, allowed to sell the device on its own website at launch. But the grand Nexus 6P project never truly came to fruition, and it seemed the plan to get a Google phone back in a carrier store was put on the back burner in 2015.
Fast-forward shortly after the Nexus 5X and 6P launched, and Google began talks with Huawei to produce its 2016 smartphone portfolio - allegedly up to three phones, not just the two we ended up with. It's unclear if they would have been branded Pixel, Nexus, or both (e.g., two Pixels and a cheaper Nexus). Google, though, set a hard rule for the partnership: Huawei would be relegated to a manufacturing role, producing phones with Google branding. The Huawei logo and name would be featured nowhere on the devices' exteriors or in their marketing, much like the Pixel phones built by HTC that we'll see unveiled tomorrow. According to our source, word spread inside Huawei quickly that global CEO Richard Yu himself ended negotiations with Google right then and there. Huawei was off the table for the new smartphones. Google's "plan B" - HTC - ended up winning the contract.
But our source claims the great irony of this is that Huawei ended up passing on a chance to finally get one of its smartphones in a Verizon store (the Pixels will be sold by Verizon), even if it didn't have the Huawei logo or mention of Huawei in its marketing. It could have, theoretically, set the stage for Huawei to work with Verizon in the future, however.
In the interim, Huawei's US division hasn't gained significant market traction. Despite achieving critical success [with Google] with the Nexus 6P last year, the company's smartphone efforts in the US have all basically fizzled. For example, the Honor 5X badge-engineered Huawei GX8 moved what amounted to essentially no units at all. Even non-smartphone products haven't done well: our source described the company's Surface competitor, MateBook, as an "absolute flop," despite the fact that Huawei still allegedly wants to produce two or three generations of the devices. Only the budget brand, Honor, has seen appreciable sales, and those were described as just "OK" for the lackluster but inexpensive 5X, while the new Honor 8 apparently debuted in the US with momentum well below expectations. I say that because just a month after the Honor 8 launched, Huawei sacked essentially the entire Honor US team according to our source - an event that, as far as we know, has not been communicated publicly.
At IFA, Huawei did suggest that the Huawei Device US team had undergone significant changes, with the US CEO ousted and much of the Western team having since been removed, as well. What employees remain are almost exclusively Chinese expatriates - people largely unfamiliar with the American market that Huawei has struggled so badly in. Our source intimated that Huawei's future US strategy is, at best, in flux. The company's P9 smartphone never officially went on sale here, nor did its generally acclaimed Mate 8. A planned LTE version of the Huawei Watch has been pushed back pending Google's release of Android Wear 2.0, and rumors are swirling that Huawei may even be considering Tizen for future smartwatches (our source was unable to confirm this rumor). Huawei's next major product announcement is anticipated to be the new Mate 9, or whatever it's called, which many expect will be revealed next month at an event in Germany, once again suggesting that Huawei probably doesn't intend to push the device here in the US.
Finally, our source suggested that, despite fallout resulting from the Nexus 6P and the lost Pixel deal, the relationship between Huawei and Google remains strong. The two companies continue to pursue strategic initiatives and products together (including that rumored tablet which, sadly, we've learned nothing new about), and Huawei is allegedly heavily invested in making its next-generation Kirin chipsets Daydream VR-friendly.
Perhaps the most interesting tidbit, though? Our source claims that Huawei is one manufacturer currently being solicited by Google to produce a phone (i.e., Google has put a call out for bids to potential partners) - for the second half of 2017. A mid-range device, at that - suggesting maybe this phone won't be Pixel-branded. I hate to leave you all on a cliffhanger like that, but unfortunately, it's all we have for now. But if our previous leak regarding Google's 2017 plans is any indicator, next year is shaping up to be very, very interesting for Google and Android.
We've reached out to Huawei for comment on this story and will update if we receive a reply.

Well who ever told you that is PROBABLY lying, misinformed, or the representative from Honor Support USA is doing the same. Here's what I got in response from Miles S the representative from Honor USA that I spoke to regarding if Android 7.0 Nougat would come to the KIW-L24.
Miles S
Hi there! Thank you for reaching Honor Device USA. How may I be of help today?
Jordan
Hello, I was wondering if Android 7.0 Nougat is going to be released to the Honor 5X KIW-L24 US Variant?
Miles S
Hey Jordan!
It's not, our Honor 5X is topping out at Marshmallow. However, it will still receive some updates.
Jordan
I was told by another representative that it would early 2017, is that just lies then?
Miles S
I wouldn't say that, our Honor 8 will get 7.0, just not our 5X.
Jordan
I thought that both devices would get supported for at least 2 years upon release, and the Honor 5X has only been released for 10 months, only 2 months away from a year.
Miles S
I'm just passing down the information I get. Honor 5X will still get support, but it won't be making the move to 7.0.
Jordan
Is it because of the hardware (CPU) Snapdragon 616 that is not allowing it to be upgraded to 7.0?

Possibly, we haven't gotten an exact reason yet.
(So TLR, better get a Honor 8, or buy another phone, or wait for CM14 with 7.0 Nougat for the Honor 5X, because that's probably the best hope we have)
Oh no, not a great news for me
So I have been searching and found nothing about the release date of the V20 in Europe I still don't get LGs decision for Europe it seems idiotic they need to rehire their marketing department the UK is a big market let alone the whole Europe and with the Note 7 getting replaced the V20 is the goto device so LG has just essentially said no to millions of sales.
Realme Customer Service - Unprofessional, Pathectic & Non-Existent With Any Standards
Following is my horrific experience with Realme support or customer service. Providing screenshots of the communication that I had with Realme support (my personal details like name, location is obscured for privacy reasons). There is no exaggeration or dramatization. I also read that EU X2 Pro buyers also facing issues in receiving any replies to their concerns. They even deleting most of the posts in Realme Community forum, which talks about the issues faced by buyers. My only intention is to create awareness how unprofessional & shamelessly Realme CS team operates. For me it is never about the issue with the device but the service provided, even as big as a company Samsung is, goofed up with their Note 7 device but they acknowledged & recalled it. Sorry for the lengthy post, but IMO it is necessary for all the details to be presented. But if you don't have time & to put it in one sentence, it has been 15 days since I raised the complaint on 02-12-209 (very next day I received the device) & 7 days since I sent them DOA certificate on 09-12-2019(as requested by them) that I received from authorized service center (visited 2 days, travelled almost 200km, lost 2 work days), but still no reply from them.
Update 1: So, after bugging them on Twitter for 3 days & after I shared my experience with their survey team(I received a random call from their survey team asking how was my experience with their service center people during my visit to their service center), I was finally contacted by their Escalation team & then received an email from the so called "relevant" or "concerned" team, [email protected] (after 16 days I raised the complaint), asking whether I prefer refund or replacement. I replied them I want refund only. And the DOA certified device is picked up from me, at last (after 10 days of getting DOA certificate from their authorized service center). Now, I have to wait & see how many days they will take to to process the refund or to send a replacement device.
Taking out the long....... text of my full story(I'll attach the screen shot of the text I've removed in case any one wants to read it to kill their time -). But will update further as they deal with my case.
Update 2: Still haven't heard anything from them yet. They neither issued a refund nor a replacement device. This is day 8th since they picked up DOA certified device on 19th Dec, 2019 & it has reached them as per the tracking. I just tweeted at them asking about the status.
Final Update: After another series of tweets on their twitter handle over couple of days(27th & 28th Dec), asking what is it stopping them to provide a resolution even after DOA device has reached them, I got a call from a Service team guy ([email protected]) on 28th December who repeated same phrase that I've been hearing since 2nd December from everyone at Realme, 'The issue has been forwarded to "Concerned & Relevant" team which is Orders team ([email protected]), and I should expect to be contacted by them very soon'. I've asked him if it does even make any sense to them in repeating same sentence over different support channels (call, chat, email & twitter) yet nothing being done and threatened them I would drag them to Consumer court (although both he & I know it was a bluff & nothing will happen to them even if I do it). Anyway, yesterday 29th December, Realme guys have initiated refund & with that I'm greatly relieved this is over (I will never ever purchase anything from them directly). Advance Happy New Year to me!!.
Apparently, their support team negligence was not limited in my case only. Here is tweet from another guy who was still waiting for refund even though his device was picked up two weeks earlier & reached Realme warehouse a week earlier (I suppose he was seeking refund from the beginning unlike me who only wanted Replacement).

More than butt hurt lol, I actually typed it over few days on Word lol, not to post it here(although I wanted to share the screenshot of it here as well), but mostly to post the screenshot of the full story to Realme Support twitter handle, because every time I contact someone at Realme I had to this, explaining full story, anyway. And guess what happened, when I contacted them through twitter on the status of my complaint (after providing my details), they asked my "detail concern" (their exact words), and I just gave them link to this post, saved a lot of time for me -.

You really think it didn't occur to even "a single party involved" including me that it might just be on the screen protector only??. After seeing the phone first hand, service centre people decided it might be beyond the screen protector (it's not a scratch, small grove or indentation mark if those are correct words). Going through the reviews on Flipkart.com, I'm not the only unlucky guy to receive the phone with some kind of marks on it. And then there is that purple patches issue of the screen that I mentioned (but you didn't read the full post to know that).
But (if you read OP without any prejudice) the reason for my butt hurt is their CS team, not the issues with the device, (I understand no device is perfect, & there are other issues with the device), even after sending DOA certificate to them(it wasn't easy for me to get DOA), I received no reply till now. I don't know about you, I normally buy the phone to use it, not to keep it aside in a sealed(by service centre people) pack waiting for it to be replaced. And I was hardly be able to use it, even though it is more than 20 days since I bought it & more than 16 days it got delivered.
Honestly, if paid via paypal, just open a claim, get refunded and either buy another phone or buy another from them, Yes I agree they are useless, but going via paypal probably is the best route.
Thank God, I was going to buy this but no. After service too bad from Realme and no custom ROM's at all and very worst color OS.....
well that was an experience reading a ton of words. in summary, their customer support service doesn't help customers at all and only ignores insignificant or little problems the consumers have regarding the products they bought.
now that i've found out about their jack**** customer service, im gonna cut ties with realme.
I totally agree. We have no customer support. We are left alone....What I hope is that we will get unlocked bootloader with working FP and new ROMs..
As if we are left only with Realme....we will be n deep sh*t.

Unfortunately, It's the trade-off you need to make. Their devices are okay & bang for the buck especially the lower end devices like Realme 5 pro, which I've recommended to many people in the last few months and few people in my work & friends circle bought it & happy with it too. But for high-end devices (as I said in OP, X2 Pro is not much cheaper than OnePlus 7T), they need to provide a decent after sales support at least. Otherwise, they will have really hard time to achieve a success like OnePlus has achieved.

They even removed many threads in their website(realme community) that were created by other people, who raised other issues like lack of LTE CA, at least in India LTE+ or 4G+ is not working properly on X2 Pro. I observed this first hand, in the couple of days I've used X2 Pro. My 3 years old Lenovo Zuk Z2 plus (released in 2016) get constant 4G+ network in my home, while on X2 Pro I barely got 4G+ or LTE+ in my house with same network provider & SIM card. With LTE+ on Zuk Z2 plus, I used to get data speeds upto 40 Mbps while on X2 Pro with LTE only (without CA) I got max data speed of 20 Mbps in my home.

In India consumer rights & consumer laws are almost non-existent, unless you really have money & time to followup and file a complaint in a consumer court. So, any company (especially big ones) get away with even no customer service at all. In 2018, I bought Xiaomi Poco F1 in the first few seconds of first release sale. It had some serious QC issues (many early adopters have had the same), I returned it (thankfully I bought it from e-commerce site Flipkart.com). Bought it again after 2 months, that one also had issues, but I kept it until the back camera died completely, with barely few days in the warranty. But still bought another Poco F1, in October 2019, because for the specs it offers at its price & huge custom ROM development community. So, it is like keep whatever you get or spend really long time & money to chase the product manufacturer.
I have no problem at all after buying it on Europe site through ebay, paid with Paypal my 8/128 version at 369 eur. If i encounter any issue i open a dispute in ebay or Paypal (first 180 days).
Realme is still young, i have had Xiaomi before, situation was not better about customer service, i always prefer seller guarantee.
Updated OP with the latest info, which basically nothing heard from them.
I'm very sad. I bought this device on Amazon (sold and shipped by Amazon). I'm using it since 8 days and, talking about performance. No problems, absolute smoothness and very few bloatware (if any).
In these days I've read this thread and also searched other sources in the net, and I've to say that the squalor of Realme Customer Care is established.
Now I'm thinking if I should give it back and buy another phone.
I bought 5his device because it's one of the absolute top about hardware. But the lack of assistance makes me think the possibility to have custom support is extremely low.
