Hi,, I need help, don't now what to do, I run King root on my phone, xt1562, and **** up everything.... you can see in the pics.. I search, and I can find solution, so please somebody give me the solution for this problem. I tray with adb, mfasboot, rds life to refresh on lollipop without results.
Not sure if i understand your problem, but have you tried to flash twrp to be able to boot in recovery and then flash a rom
you need to unlock your device first then flash twrp recovery , and install supersu to root the device.
try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/untested-how-to-root-moto-x-play-t3211941
I tray that, but don't work for me, before I start with King root I alow OEM unlock on the developer settings on the phone, and now Adb don't recognize that and ask for OEM unlock, and it impossible now cos phone don't work

Flash factory firmware, it's pretty much the only thing you can do with locked bootloader. And don't use kingroot any more

Did you originally have Lollipop or MM. Here's MM firmware:
If it's european XT1562, single sim, try this one:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/1ub...MPD24.107-52_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
If it's asian, dual sim, this one:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/49g...MPD24.107-70_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
(double check it, for you own safety)
Make sure you've got moto drivers and use fastboot or mfastboot.
What messages did you get when flashing before, what did it say exactly after executing fastboot commands?
Tnx
Before, phone was originally on lollipop, and receive Ota update on MM6. 0.1.
I tried to root this phone through this bull**** Kingroot.. And it failed.. Later on when i restarted the phone it got bootlooped and is totally bricked! i get this error- Startup Failed: Your device didn't start up successfully. use the software repair assistant on computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the software repair assistant.
AP Fastboot flashmode (secure)
Fastboot Reason: Last time flashing failed
hab check failed for boot
failed to verify hab image boot
failed to validate boot image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation. backup to fastboot
Boot Up failed
I try with fastboot, and rds lite, computer show connection like adb devices, but when I try to flash, said failed, and rds don't show anethyng, don't recognize phone.

If you installed MM OTA you can't flash Lollipop firmware, it must be MM (generally speaking). Get into bootloader and try to flash MM with fastboot.

I can see it boots in fastboot mode, which is good, but your firmware is messed. Is your phone sim-free or carrier branded? If it's sim-free you should be able to flash the firmware I linked.

Thanks for helping, But how can i choose a file in Flashtool ?
As i understand i can only choose the FTF file , And i chose the Xperia Play one.
OK, After a lot of searching i found out that i had my phone Bootloader Unlocked before flashing,
And after that i tried to flash it and i got the error and it wont boot.
From what i red i only have 2 things to do :
1- Get the phone booting but without radio.
2- give it to sony and tell them that it just crashed while i was updating it.(And don't tell them anything about to root or the bootloadr)
So please if anyone knows any better way to fix it please tell me.

Try formatting /system and /boot first,
In fastboot type in
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase boot
Then flash this kernel with the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

finally flash this system image with command "fastboot flash system xxxxxx.img"

i recently tried to update my huawei p8 lite to android marshmallow 6.0
i unrooted and my bootloader is unlocked.
as the phone rebooted to finalize the installation it rebooted immediatly at 0% and kept rebooting and showing "huawei software installing 0%".
i managed to boot it in fastbootmode but everytime i try to reflash or do anything with it i get the error "remote:command not allowed"
every time i reboot or drain the battery it just goes to the "huawei software installing 0%" screen and starts the loop anew.
how to fix this? or should i just return it to them?

i cant do anything with fastboot. everytime i try to flash or even view something it says (remote:command not allowed)
Try reinstalling your drivers from your computer.
Remove the driver for the fastboot device and try to reinstall them. Use a good resource for the drivers. Like google or huawei etc.
You can also try to download HiSuite 4.04.301 en try system recovery.

when you are in fastboot, go to your computer settings and remove the fastboot device or update the drivers for that device.

That's not an issue, usb debugging is only necessary when you can startup to android. Try googling, whill do that too.

Is the bootloader unlocked?
If not, you'll need to unlock it first in Fastboot (you can use DCUnlocker for it, if you don't want to wait the 14 days for Huawei to do it).
Same Problem.
Exactly the same problem.
I've already posted into the other topic, but I post it here as well.
daviddosa said:
Looks like you've used the KingRoot method to root your phone.
Flashing via fastboot requires the fastboot to be unlocked.
The message "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)" indicates, that the script tried to execute the command, but because the bootloader is still locked, it cannot do such thing.
There are 2 solutions:
Download the original firmware and try to update to it via the "dload" method. (sdCard>dload>UPDATE.APP)
Try to unlock the bootloader. But for unlocking, you'll need the Product ID, which as of now, only obtainable, when the phone is able to boot up.
I really recommend trying to download the firmware, and give the "dload" method a shot, because without an unlocked bootloader, nothing you can do at home.
Right, it's almost nothing. There's this site called DC-Unlocker, and with a fast runthrough, it should be able to unlock the bootloader, but I haven't tried, or tested it in any way. Still an interesting program, though.
Edit:
Just saw your post under the other similar topic.
You should try to do a Factory Reset, by hand, via fastboot, and then updating with the "dload" method again.
The commands are:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
Maybe this helps.

Hello all,
I have Huawei P8 lite bought from Romania. I install the android 6 and I wanted to go back to 5, so I go trough the steps on the official huawei website :
1) download an install rollback package - all went fine, the B500 firmware was shown
2)download an install B132 - on this step the problem appear; after the installation the phone is in a continuous bootloop, it can;t even shut down for good. I hear the start up sound, then if I press the volume keys it's beeping, so somehow is booting but without showing nothing(strange random colors ). The PC is recognizing the phone, but ADB won't .
The phone isn't going in to the recovery mode or update mode.
I search the forum and found methods to unbrick the phone, but only using fastboot. Since my phone isn't rooted , I can't use this method. What can I do?

There is a program called Huawei product ID generator. You need Imei,Serial no.(both are on the box) and Product ID (via Huawei product ID generator). Through this you can obtain unlocking code
In Fastboot and rescue mode type this in minimal adb and fastboot
fastboot oem unlock XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Where XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is the unlocking code.

Thanks! Will try definitely.
Last question - does the bootloader unlock wipe the user data on the phone? I want somehow to extract it before flashing any ROM over. So my idea was to unlock it, flash some better recovery and make a backup of data partition.
I don't have that option
Maybe it appear when the devices is connected.

The ROM flashing option is not active- I think because the device is not connected.
Tried with the multi tool, same result
My wife got a P9 Lite L31. I wanted to upgrade to Nougat. I finally succeeded, but after that I messed things up. I tried to do a clean intall with a update that wasn't ment for this.
In the beginning I could still enter the Nougat recovery, but I wasn't able to reinstall the update.zip. The device wouldn't boot, etc.
I tried to do many different things, but at this moment I cant enter TWRP anymore, I can enter fastboot and is says:
PHONE Unlocked
FRP Unlocked
But flashing an other TWRP recovery doesn's work because I get an error:
(Remote: Command not allowed).
Also relocking the bootloader doesn't work because is gives the same error as the one above.
I can't flash a OEM file through fastboot because it gives the same error as the one above.
I can't use HiSuite because it says it does not support the phone.
I don't know what else I can do right now.
I tried the 3 button method, but I can't get in the official recovery. The phone reboots to some kind of recovery where it wants to update the recovery through wifi, but it ends up with an error that it can't fails to get the package info. But there is no option to do a factory reset (I've put the MM update.app file in sdcard/dload folder).
Any ideas what else I can do to recover the phone?
Unlock the bootloader again.

Ok, did not expect to do that again, but I did it.
What's the next step? flash a nougat recovery? flash a oem recovery?
Fastboot now says:
Error!
Func NO: 11 (recovery image)
Error NO: 2 (load failed)
Looks like fastboot isn't recognized by the computer anymore after the re-unlocking of the bootloader.
Windows device management also doesn't see the device. Not even as an unknown device.... Looks like the bootloader unlock completely bricked the device.
Well.
You must change your motherboard.

Try to discharge your battery by leaving it on Fastboot mode.
Charget the batery and let it boot itself.
If it boots in the software, it will be very easy to fix. If no, then changing the motherboard is required

To be honest, nothing.
It can do two things, you can let it boot and then it says it's booting, and that's it (after the warning that the bootloader is unlocked), or I can boot into fastboot but the phone is not detected by the computer. Device manager doesn't see the device at all not even as an unknown device. Nothing. So no way to flash anything using fastboot. KI also can't get into the fastboot&repair.
So yeah, I decided to send it in for repair.
I have Moto g5 plus xt 1686 Indian variant.I hadn't unlocked my bootloader. The device was working but suddenly one day it got bricked dont know why but it boots only in fastboot mode that to with no information. The only error i am able to verify is "failed to validate boot image"
After trying for around 1 week i have tried these things
1. Used rsd lite earlier it wasnot able to identify my device in windows 10 machine but in windows 7 machine its able to do that but unable to flash the device
2. tried to flash using adb commands but they are also not working
Since i tried to unlock the bootloader through the guide of motorola website then also i am not able to do that and get this error "'fastboot' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."
Please help ....

You need to install fastboot in pc and then flash the device to make it work.

You cannot unlock bootloader anymore. So try flashing normally. If your hardware is not damaged then you might me able to make it work.

K.. install adb(https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120698566 ). If you had installed moto assistant then you'll have the drivers. If not then google motorola drivers and install them(http://www.motorola.com/getmdmwin ).
Once it's done. Open the folder where adb is installed.
Hold shift and right click>open command promt here.
At this point boot into the bootloader on your phone (fastboot mode).
On cmd type fastboot devices.
If your device is detected then it will show on screen.
If you get to this part.
Start flashing thru fastboot.
Get the files from google( or https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/potter/official/RETAIL)
Instructions to flash are in xda.
If you get failed to flash: security version downgrade then you're probably flashing an older firmware. Download the latest.
If you get failed to flash: preflash validation failed then there's not much you can do. Or atleast i don't know a solution to that.
its not detecting my device
Actually the problem is that it is not detecting my device when i give this command, although i have installed device drivers and adb also....This is is the problem

Here's a guide to flash stock firmware.
Try the linked Mini ADB & Fastboot, if your device isn't recognised try to connect it to another usb port or use another usb cable.
Are you sure that you're in fastboot mode when you type the commands?
Read the guide carefully.
You need:
Latest signed stock firmware:
Europe (RETEU):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/13WuhoogtAdoincAyTwCLvRj0d-Z9kL0P/view?usp=sharing
India (RETIN):
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...ubsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
US (RETUS):
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...ubsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
flashallO.bat:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zfh67uzfle9hsco/flashallO.bat?dl=0
Motorola drivers:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0WGdtNWubBJYnlDcWRBZXltanc/view?usp=sharing
Mini ADB & Fastboot
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lLYfimKN1U5CJ9cfpTCkhtMiuG8EfXBZ/view?usp=sharing
1) Download the 8.1.0_OPS28.85-17-6-2 Indian firmware (it's the last one for the Moto G5+ (potter).
2) Install Mini ADB & Fastboot (best place is the root directory of C:/ or how the partition/hard drive is named where your OS resists), not in program files or another folder.
3) Extract the firmware to that ADB & Fastboot folder.
4) Download my "flashallO.bat" and move it to that folder too.It removes the need for you to manually flash all partitions, just double-click it and it'll run all the commands for you.
5) Download and install Motorola device drivers. The program is called "Motorola Device Manager".
6) Reboot your phone to the bootloader. To do this, turn it off, then hold down the power and volume down buttons until you see a bugdroid undergoing open-heart surgery.
7) Connect the phone to your PC with your USB cable. Type
Code:
fastboot devices
to check if your device is connected. A serial number should be shown.
8) Run the flashallO.bat script. (Caution: This will wipe your device completely!) It will take some time to flash, just be patient and don't worry.
NOTE: If the command window appears for a brief moment then disappears, device drivers may not be installed. Ask again then.
9) Once the command window closes, it should have completed the flashing process and you are safe to press the power key on the phone to start Android. Just make sure that the text near the buttons reads "START".

You're always talking about ADB commands, it's Fastboot that you have to use, it's described above how you get there.
What image do you mean when you say it's not flashing?
The guide is complete, read it carefully.
You have to download a zip file, in your case the Indian (RETIN) variant:
XT1686_POTTER_RETIN_8.1.0_OPS28.85-17-6-2_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Unpack it to fastboot folder, use the flashallO.bat to flash the firmware.
Please clarify what image you're talking about and if you do the fastboot flash like described above please provide the recovery.log , you can do that in TWRP->advanced->copy log, if TWRP is installed.
Try to flash the firmware and immediately after that grab a log and attach it here.

Sry it's fastboot not adb .But the image i am trying to use is indian(retin) as you provided. And i followed all steps as they were given.
But i dont know how to get log files.
Also i would like to mention that this is my first time trying flashing a phone and as per my knowledge we have to install twrp recovery which i haven't done.its a normal phone with locked oem.
So please guide me how to get log files.

You don't need logs. Your phone is locked so you cannot flash twrp. Only thing you can do is flash using fastboot commands. Just download the firmware.. extract. Put all of those files in the adb folder and run the flashall.bat or individual commands like fastboot flash recovery recovery.img which ever you feel is easier for you.

That´s what I´ve said. If you would have TWRP you would be able to send a recovery.log but all you want to do is to flash a signed fastboot firmware. That´s possible without TWRP or unlocked bootloader, just by fastboot. Unzip the indian firmware
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...ubsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
into your Mini ADB & Fastboot folder, place the flashallO.bat there too and double-click it, everything in fastboot mode as described before.
What happens when you do that? Are the commands executed in the command window of your Windows PC?
Can you make a screenshot of it? The guide I posted has everything you need in it, you have to tell me what happens when you try to flash the unzipped firmware.
Just to be clear, the firmware and everything has to be on your PC, not your moble device!
i tried to take screen shot of it but was unable to do it but was successful in copying the complete commands log in text file so here it is

Ok, that doesn't look to good.
The whole process is failing right at the start when the device is trying to build the partition table.
Have you tried different USB cables and ports?
Imo there are only two possible solutions:
Your device isn't working with fastboot correctly or its a hardware failure, the eMMC (the internal SD) may be corrupted. As your device is locked and hasn't been modded in any way this is the most plausible scenario also because it crashed out of the blue.
The only thing you can try yet is to use a different ADB and Fastboot tool, this one for example:
Minimal ADB & Fastboot:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10NEzpxKpYWfq-HdK42ctwoEnCg-BfsRQ/view?usp=drivesdk
If all that changing of ports, cables and tools doesn't help you have to bring your device to a service center, they will most probably change the motherboard which isn't a cheap repair so if your device isn't under guarantee anymore you have to consider it it's worth the money.
Good luck!

So i tried with different fastboot software which you provided but i get the same errors .On phone when these commands run i get these messages failed to validate bootloader image and some thing called piv is also not able to be validated.
So i think its the end of my testing journey. Now can you please tell me how much chances are there for software issue. And is there any thing else i could.Any way i got to learn so many things through this but if is there anything left. Or should i go to service center

I think you've done everything that's possible.
The device wasn't rooted, modded, unlocked or something.
It showed the failure out of the blue.
You tried different fastboot tools, cables, ports and the correct firmware.
I asked someone with more knowledge about your log and the whole case and he is thinking the same as I do.
So the chance for a software problem is really small. I told you everything I know, maybe a service center has more options for software checks but as far as I know they use the good old Lenovo Motorola Software Assistant.
So I would recommend to go there and ask (before they do anything) what you have to pay if your eMMC is broken. Here in Germany they always change the whole motherboard, the costs are about the half of the price you paid for the device here.
If your still under guarantee it's a different story.
I'm sorry, I told you everything I know and I flashed my Moto G5+ several times.
My opinion is that the device has a hardware failure and visiting the service center is the only thing you could do now.
I really would like to give you better news.

Read this thread. You can flash signed Motorola firmware like discribed. If you don't want to lose your data you can try to omit the "erase user data" command. Just delete it out of the flashallO.bat.
