1)Go to apps ==>Google play store
2)Clear data+cache
3)Uninstall update of play store(if there is)
4)"Force stop" Google play store.
If the attached message appears ,just unclick it and then press "proceed".Though this message shouldn't be appear for small apps.
Make sure to clean flash if you R coming from another ROM.
If till now problem exist, backup apps+ data by Titanium backup and do wipe data+cache+dalvik cache.

First Download right CWM for your phone model and search guides for CWM and Root in xda or google......
THEN...
Go to CWM recovery>wipe data and cache and back then go to CWM>advance>wipe dalvik cache and reboot device......
And search all about CWM for how to back up and restore...etc...

open phone settings
goto applications
mannage applications
select the all tab
you need to select the following apps and clear data and cache
google play services
google play store
google service framework
now with a file browser that can show hidden folders like root browser delete .android_secure from the root of your sd card (note the folder name starts with a dot)
go into cmw
wipe cache
wipe delvik cache
mount system (if on cm7 common kernel unmount system and mount it twice) data and cache
(if you get any errors in mounting anything you will have to flash stock rom via odin and start again)
flash the correct gapps for the android version you are on
restart

This is a bit same way that you informed....But your guide is more easy than me(For settings method)...All is well but if we need to delete the .android secure folder,we need root permission too...and after deleting this folder our installed apps will fail to load main apks...So I think it is more easy if we give a factory reset from settings...it will do all automatically...
So just give a reset.....
Im not sure if im really a mesaed up guy or something, but the reset button is not working anymore. I mean i cant click it anymore. So i better try to do the other steps than factory reset… need to backup files now

[Q] downloading/sending media after root

Hello all!!
My note 4 has some problem! some apps don't work, for example, vr roller coaster wouldn't load, I disinstalled and reinstalled it...and it worked, however other apps, such as telegram or whatsapp won't let me download or send any media: videos, audio, pictures. It sais download failed when I try to receive them. Also, I can't download Facebook photos, nor can I download from dropbox. All of this has happened after I have installed twrp, installed infamous rom, and then restored from a Nandroid backup. ..this because it didn't recognizer my sim..what on earth can I do to get it back working like before?! Thank youuuuuu
Wipe data in twrp
Sent from my SM-N910C using XDA Free mobile app
I tried!

thanks for the tip, only now i had some time to back up photos and try it...unfortunately it did not work!!! ;( TWRP sais "unable to wipe external_sd" i also tried the repair or change file system option in twrp, but that failed as well... is there any other way to format the sd card?!
Also, to stop this from happening again do you know why this might've happened? THanks!

I also formatted the sd card from the storage option in settings, and it still doesnt work... i really dont know what to do at this point! will formatting the whole phone from twrp(in the wipe option) help? or should i try more somrthing like flashing the stock firmware with odin, starting all over again.
I have no problem in loosing all of the data: the things i care about are all on the pc(photos, and music)...the rest is all in the play store, i just have to download it again...so i dont care if i loos all the data...i just want to get the note fully working again like before...being able to write/read on the sd-card etc...!
THanks!

Try factory reset which you will lose all data, or restore factory image which will also wipe out all data.

Without a logcat there is no way to know what is causing your FC. It is either corrupted data or corrupted Play Store. Did you wipe data in Play Store app?

You forgot to mention, that in another thread of you (which is closed by the way), you tried to install an "illegal copy" of the Play Store (warez!)...
I think, THAT's the reason your legal copy of the Play Store isn't working anymore!
You are "playing" with your device, trying to install illegal things and now, when it's not working anymore, we must help you to find an answer how to get the things working again on your device -> bit strange, isn't it?
1 solution: flash stock firmware again, reset device -> voila!

Problem after root..HELP

So I was on the stock marshmallow ROM and decided to root and so after that I got a google play service force close error and then it wouldn't let me download Facebook and some other apps. So I wiped clean and flashed pure nexus and flashed the 2.47 (I think it was) Super user root .zip and still same issue. Anyone know why its doing this ? I can't even open Facebook ..it closes and gives me the google play services error.
Edit: now Snapchat instantly closes and says Snapchat has stopped

I just flashed that but same issue ..but noticed xposed works now with this
I tried 3 different Roms and Google play store keeps force closing when I try to install Facebook. If I install Facebook apk from Google it doesn't always open. And Snapchat won't open it just crashes...I don't know what to do ..did I not decrypt it or whatever ? I remember is asked Me for a password in twrp but I clicked back arrow and wiped..I never typed the password ..can that be why?

Are data and cache all you wiped? You should wipe system and dalvik cache too before flashing a ROM. Also, which gapps did you flash?

I don't use Xposed but I'm guessing there's a thread for it in the general section for this device.
use http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/

it will fix his softbricked phone with two clicks, he deosn't need most of what it can do, but its still the easiest way for him to fix it. Let him decide what to do.
This is the xposed version you want to use. I would suggest downloading the factory image and running the batch file in it. Then setting the phone up from there. also use the latest supersu 2.76 from HERE

Easiest doesn't mean best. A toolkit bypasses any learning that's required to keep this from happening again. Plus it's better to know how you're fixing something, a toolkit removes that.
