What files is better to download ?!
PS italiano eh ?! :highfive:
Hi,
You need an account for download the big files.
Ciao,
Devi usare un programma per scaricare i file. Ovviamente devi registrarti al sito. Conviene attendere che qualcuno scarichi tutto e ricarichi il materiale su un server eu.

Here is the link https://mega.nz/#F!R8dSiT5T!08LHl2JKm5_u579uyAWfEw (the upload is not totally finish cause my connection is very very slow, they have two different folder the first in English with only the necessary and a second (Chinese) which is exactly the same folder than Baidu )
EDIT : All files are now on Mega except the second firmware "20151022054017_prd_stable" (I cannot download it from the Baidu server however this shouldn't pose any problem for the tutorial because only one firmware is required )

Did Nexus 4 just get AOSP Android Nougat?

I found this on youtube with a link for the ROM...
https://youtu.be/rl9KDnOuYbg
Can this be for real or is it fake?
It's probably fake because the nexus 5 is not getting N.
Definitely fake....video has been posted on august 6, and its not possible to make a ROM for nexus 4 without the AOSP source code for Nougat, which is still being pushed out. How they made it call nexus 4 in the settings ? Probably by changing the init.d file ? I'm not sure how but I guess there is a way to change the phone's model number because that's not a nexus 4. If it was, such a ROM would have been here on xda in the first place.
PS: I hope there soon will be a functional ROM out soon after the AOSP code is out there. Waiting patiently.
Yeh tnx @hk.happy
Is there any stable marshmallow ROM which works smooth and also very efficient.... Maybe similar to the stock 5.1.1?
There are numerous marshmallow roms for mako; personally speaking, I've been using Chroma since long, very stable, almost 4-4.5 hours screen on time, no random reboots and super smooth. It's all a question of which features you want, you can try chroma/fake nexus rom/cm13, they are all good in their own ways
what about resurrection remix?
can u link me the chroma rom ?
I have not used resurrection remix.
Chroma is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-chroma-03-31-2015-layers-t3069936

The Elephone is the 1st phone to implement quantum disruptive technology along with US DoD encryption standards which means that if you try to flash a custom rom the same people from the FBI who show up when you remove the tags from a mattress will be knocking on your door, arrest warrant in hand.

Does anyone started to compile Cyanogenmod for the Elephone S7? Looking forward to a custom ROM.
best regards

Hi everyone !
I'm available to test some ROMS if needed A CyanogenMod 13 or 14 would be so fine on the S7 !!
At least we can try to mod an original firmware already rooted and without chinese and security issues crap. What do you think ? Is someone here can make this first step please ?
Best regards.
Hi,
I tried to install some CyanogenMod 13 or 14 firmwares from other smartphones using Helio X20, but no luck, nothing works (from Xiami Redmi 4, Vernee Apollo Lite and Elephone P9000, nothing works)
Best regards.

That's a nice way to brick your device. Never and I mean never flash a rom for a different device. You are lucky if you have not messed up your partitions or other hardware.
Yes i know. But we need to advance on a custom ROM
I will try to find time to use a better partitionning script on a firmware and see if anything boots.
Best regards
please!! A ROM soon !!
S7 helio x25
Yes Please! There is a new version on gearbest based on helio x25 for only 10 $ more (between both 4/64 versions). Which on has the more chance to receive a cm version?
The old one cause I'm already in porting cm. I don't promise anything thought
And helio x25 is just helio x20 overclocked so I can make some changes to kernel to change the old model to helio x25.

Not sure, they might release the sources for all variants at once.
Does that forum message is reliable? I mean that is exciting news for sure, we can finally get some custom kernels etc
At last I can get rid of heavy MIUI.
I hope there won't be a problem compiling with GCC toolchain. 4 Prime sources had problems I don't see how to solve.
That is awesom news. Sources for Mi5, Mi Mix and Mi Note 2 were released today. I hope Redmi Note 4(X) is really following soon.

It won't. We are minority users in number as people don't ask for open source after buying their phone, they just use it. Open sourcing won't do any major impact so it's not a priority and it's up to them.
Also, it is possibly because of the nature of Android. What we're asking is for them to give us the codes to their system because what they have is ****ty and other people can do better. Hurtful? Yes. Disrespectful? Yes. This is my assumption but I'd feel the same way too if my work is being treated this way. I'm not accusing devs of this mindset but is an unintended possibility too.
It isn't hurting us anyway if we don't have sources, we just choose to imagine it will.

How did I test roms?
- During the tests the phone was in the freezer(refrigerator).
- No config, no thermal mod, no extra settings. Only latest firmware+rom file flashed.
Which roms did I test?
Huge thanks for all developer

Hey there! Do you have a link to a topic for this ROM? Thought it didn't existed anymore fore the Mi 5s.
There is New PE build r37 Official 15/05/2019 by Jonas Cordaso, can you test it too?

I thought about doing a battery comparison. But this is a process that takes a very long time.

Battery comparison would be incredibly awesome, but yes, it's a long process...
Where did you find these roms? I've tried to find AICP, can't, Potato, Can't. Any tips?

Hey guys, I've put the Havoc-OS on my Mi 5s and even without social media and no SIM the phone has huge battery draw when inactive. I doesn't last a hole morning like that. Do you have any suggestions for ROM with good battery life?
Hard work bro. Thanks. I attached captures from my Havoc-OS 2.8. They are superors than yours but I don't understand my very low result in Geekbench. Havoc-OS has a very good user experience. I am waiting Android 10 roms for test it.
Amazing work.
I never changed to other rom with my Mi 5s, but after it I'm thinking serious to test Bliss Rom
