Can anyone please upload a stock P7500 PIT file from stock 4.0.4.
I am on Ubuntu using Heimdall and I am trying to flash a stock ROM again.
My other option would be to use Odin on a Windows PC...when I can get my hands on one.

Anyone can make or write here a tutorial how to remove the bootloader from a ROM?(because of signing bootloaders)
In the thread which contains the patch for unsigning the bootloaders they mention to remove bootloaders (BUT HOW?) or flash "safe" custom ROMs
e.g.: like I want to install a STOCK samsung firmware through Odin or Heimdall, and I want to know which file(s) have to be removed.
open up the tar and remove boot.bin and sbl.bin and ur done
Do you re-tar the file?

If you are flashing with Heimdal, then just leave out the boot.bin and sbl.bin files and you'll be okay. If you want to flash with Odin you will need to open up the tar file and delete these two. Be careful with doing this as tar files modified in Windows don't always flash properly with Odin, you need to use Linux to tar the files up to be sure it will work okay. I have Cygwin on my Vista PC and use this to tar up files for flashing with Odin and it works fine. I pull all the files out of the tar then re-tar the ones I want to flash. I've done this for removing bootloader files and making mix and match files of different pda, csc and modem versions successfully.
I would be interested to know if anyone knows of a Windows program that can be used to create tar files that are flashable with Odin??

I have an sgh-i337m model and I really need this phone fixed as I just paid 200$ to get its lcd replaced a week ago. I need serious help on what to do, I'm a huge newbie so yea. Also it's with rogers.
Guys, please help me man I'm really sad about this and need desperate help I don't have alot of money to get another phone.
Download the stock Rom touchwiz tar file from and flash it via Odin. I did this when I was left without root and a custom recovery, flashed stock touchwiz ROM via Odin.

Go to sammobile.com for the file. You'll download a zip file, extract it using 7-zip or winrar. Use the .tar.md5 file in Odin

Hey I don't think this is quite what you're looking for, but here is the Odin file for your tablet. Extract that zip to your PC and you'll have a file something like T230NUUEU0ANE2_T230NUXAR0ANE2_HOME.tar.md5, you can flash that through Odin on your PC (attached to bottom of post) to restore back to stock. Just a heads up, that's a slightly older build, (UEU0ANE2, still 4.4.2 KitKat) so you might have to update afterwards.
How to use Odin to restore tablet to stock
Hi guys,
I had a rooted galaxy s4 I9505, which I tried to encript before selling. After 10 hours the encripting did not finish so I rebooted it and ended up with a bootloop, that I tried to foolishly solve by going to the TWRP menu and formatting the device, the OS was lost and since then I am unable to bring it back to life. I am trying to flash a new rom with jOdin because it keeps saying that the PIT file that my phone shows is corrupt, I tried different versions of jOdin and two different computers. Kies and the like are uninstalled. I tried downloading PIT files online with no luck.
Do you guys have any suggestions? I am really lost after wasting 2 days on this.
Many thanks...
Try downloading the official firmware from sammobile. And flash using odin. That should work

Thanks Soyuz4u, but Odin keeps saying that has found a corrupted file (either the PIT file or another) and does not even start flashing.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Can't you flash a rom via TWRP? I managed to soft brick my device last night with Mobile Odin. It wiped my recovery and OS. I just flashed TWRP back with normal Odin and restored my rom backup.
Have you googled to see if there is a pit file for the memory configuration of your phone?

Try a different USB cable / port. That error is related to that a lot of the time.
Thanks for the replies guys. I couldn't flash a new ROM with TWRP because it kept saying that the .md5 file could not be found, no matter what I did. I downloaded some PIT files online but did not find something specific to my phone memory config.
I'll give it a go in a Windows platform with different USB ports to see if that helps.
Thanks again!

I don't think you have any clue what you are doing.
You say you have TWRP on your device. Then download a custom rom and flash it with TWRP.
- What do you mean with .md5 file cannot be found? You never ever use a .md5 file with TWRP. You only need to flash a .zip.
- Are you running Odin in a virtual machine? That will not work. Jodin is also outdated if i'm not mistaken.
SOLVED NOW! I installed the latest Odin on WIndows and flashed the Rom with no problem. I was unaware of Odin being outdated for Mac. Thanks all for your help again.
It has Android 4.4 on it, but LTE. So besides the old os still usable.
We tried Odin, it wants a .tar.md5, what is a good way to convert it to a .tar.md5, we did the tar tool for Odin, it made a small seperate .md5 file.Just want 1 file to flash, is there a easy way in Linux to do it?

I have lineage-15.1-20180708-UNOFFICIAL-core33g.tar.md5 (just .tar shows unless you go to properties, hmmm) anyway, I think that is it, Last few times I tried Windows says there is a prob. & stops it. does odin have a Linux versoin.
