Has anyone noticed their gallery just vanishing after updating the s7 edge? I can't find it anywhere, after taking a photo it says there is no app to open the pictures.

Hi again, the stock blur photogallery are terribly slow,. Im currently using quickpic as my default photo gallery viewer. Im on apex 1.4.1 rom.
The stock blur camera keeps defaulting to the 3d gallery when I take a picture and click the thumbnail..
I even emailed the dev of quickpic and sent him logcat logs and he said that the gallery is "hardcoded" to the camera?
I tried copying over quickpic, renaming it to 3dgallery.apk in system app, but it wont run.

Go to manage apps in your settings and find the camera and clear defaults. Then open camera app and hit the thumbnail to go to the gallery. It should ask you which app to open it with. Check the box to use as default
Hi there, I already tried that, NG.. I ended up going with the aosp camera and using a modded xml that upps the bandwith for a small edge in quality over the blur camera. and it lets me use the quickpic gallery.

I got a N9005 version of Note 3 for my wife recently and just now I noticed a problem with the gallery app, it is just blank, does not load anything from the sdcard, I tried take some pictures and it does show in the gallery but that's it. Sometimes it even does not show those pictures, have to clear data of gallery app and mediastorage. Anyone know why and can help me out? Thanks
Hey guys I've been developing an app but I'm having this issue while I upload a photo through my app to my server. I click the select photo option on my app and it redirects me to the Google photos app's recent page and when I select a photo from there, it doesn't upload it. I know that I can click on the menu and select from the default android gallery. Note that selecting a photo from Google plus backup through the default gallery has the same issue.
I'd like to know if somehow I can directly select photos from the gallery app or fix the issue of selecting photos from the Google photos app.

you should learn more about how to read and interpret exceptions, cause it will be throwing one in your code. If I were a betting man, I would say you are attempting to upload a resource uri location rather than a file. So you would need to get the absolute location and name from the relevant content provider
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with their gallery displaying grey boxes when they are trying to access pictures through their gallery? It displays pictures, but only after I let it sit for 20 or so seconds, or after I close then reopen the app. I have been experiencing it on android 5.0 only, on both my note 3 and galaxy s4.
I have the s8 this is my first android smart phone and I'm not really a tecy so could do with some help. At the moment the pics I take with the camera come up on all my apps. Facebook, Snapchat e.t.c.
As I opened Facebook it showed recent photos I might like to add. If I had opened this in front of my mother it would have been extremely embaresing. How can I stop this? Thank you
Hold down fb app go to app info then to permissions. Turn off camera and storage
