Is there any TWRP or other recovery for SM-G930V

Seems like the only recovery is see in TWRP is for the edge or international versions of the model, so I'm having a hard time adding a recovery. Can anyone help??? I'd greatly appreciate it.
No...the phone just got root and the bootloader is really locked down. No one saw us getting root, so who knows what can happen.

IF we get anything it will most likely be safestrap. So no AOSP.
Use FlashFire!

Are there any Roms or Custom recoveries compatible with this specific model number? Doesn't seem like it.

FlashFire is the compatible recovery. There are two ROMs for the Verizon S7 Edge. http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/development I have personally verified that the PlayStore ROM posted for the Edge will work on the S7 flat.
I should mention that you need to be on the U firmware prior to flashing those ROMs. The ROM also installs the G935 engineering kernel, so you need to flash the G930 boot kernel with Odin afterwards. I can make a write-up later if there is any interest.
I can even modify his ROM with the correct build.prop and kernel for the G930V.
How's the stability and finctionality?
A guide would be awesome. How do I get it up and running lol.

Sounds interesting, don't know if the different firmware/kernel would run better on our Verizon variant.

I'll see if I can make one later this evening.

If you intend to root it, then you still need to use the same engineering kernel. I will say that before I rooted the U-firmware, the phone was much smoother and faster in stock form than the stock Verizon firmware.

Does flashing the engineering kernel unlock more LTE bands by chance? Band 12 to be specific..

Not just the kernel alone. Flash the U firmware and you will be able to select any band, as long as the radio is in the phone for it.

Thanks. Is it the G930U or G935U firmware that's needed? I'm guessing the Edge U firmware is what you're speaking of.. is it a simple flash? I'm running PE1 rooted at the moment.
930u for flat 935u for edge. Just flash entire image over. Shouldn't need root

OK I just accessed service mode on the PE1 firmware.. no Band 12 or 17 option. I'll flash the 930U firmware and attempt again to see if there's a difference at all.
Also, is rooting the 930U firmware the same as the PE1 firmware process?
Sorry for hijacking this thread.

I flashed the G930U firmware and was able to receive Band 17 successfully. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction with the U firmware!
Did you flash the 930U firmware on a flat S7 or edge Verizon variant device. I have a rooted Verizon device and using it on T-Mobile.
Version 6.0.1 July patch.
Can you pm or reply here on how you managed thanks
G930v custom recovery pass dm verity
Can someone point me in the direction of a thread to install custom recovery on the Verizon varient S7? Say hypothetically I could pass the dm-verity check.
How would I go about implementing the pass to install a custom recovery.

06/03/2017 new security patch update arrived in 60mb (N910TUVS2EQB1)

I just received security patch update in 60mb.
Everything running very smooth so far no issues.
"Edit" users who are curious to know that bootloader is still unlocked and i downgraded to epe3 and dok2 just fine.
Just received same update. Working great.

ODIN flashable version is up on SamMobile website. I downloaded it, flashed it, then re-installed TWRP recovery and also was able to re-root the phone after the upgrade.

Did it trip knox?
I'm a relative noob to flashing rom's. Can someone tell me if I'm understanding this correctly?
Installing this update will *unroot* my phone? So after installing this update through odin, I will need to install twrp again while in download mode? And then, once that's installed, reroot my phone?

You can downgrade from MM to LP by flashing this?
I've tried EPJ2 to DOK2 and it didn't work.

Help with upgrading to Nougat

I don't have a Verizon SIM card. Does anyone have a update.zip or a tool so I can upgrade? When I check for updates it fails because I don't have a SIM card inside.
Tried taking the OTA but keep getting an Error 402.
I odin'd back to stock using the method on this site and even factory reset after as well.
Anyone know what the error is?
Or does anyone have an alternate way to update? I'm currently on PE1.

Use Odin or Smart Switch to upgrade to PI3, then use the update.zip I linked.

Custom Rom Question

Okay so I have a rooted s7 edge G935A on QC2 with android 7.0.
Now my question is, is there a way to flash a custom rom with flashfire and maybe flash a kernal or something with Odin. Or how would that all work out? If you could tell me or link me to a guide for this that would be appreciated.
Thank you.

As far as I know the custom rom can only be in flash via twrp. And it looks like your bootloader is locked. So there is no twrp for that type (for now)

Do you think anyone could make a custom ROM for the G935A and make it so we could flash it with flashfire? I know there is the echoed rom but that is only for marshmallow and I'm on 7.0. Is there any developers I should talk to about making a nougat rom, or should I just wait.

Updating bootloader and modem to the Oreo and then go back to the Nougat

Hello there!
I come here with really important question.
I use the Android Nougat as a daily driver but I'd like to update system to the Oreo. Will I be able to go back to the Nougat if I flashed the Oreo's bootloader and modem?
Thanks in advance for answers!
